stalltalk
Barry Sanders. All the dude bros will mistake it for Madden 25 and you'll sell a million copies. Slippery Nips

Justice Weller Colde
Even though its not very likely (thanks to Jim Harbaugh & Colin Crapernick), Alex Smith. RGIII would make a lot of sense. Edited August 5, 2013 by Justice Weller Colde
buck
wasn't rgiii already on the cover of some football game? my opinion is that TSB should use a player that hasn't already been on a cover of a game. Knobbe
Neerrm
JJ Watt would be a good one as well in my opinion.

philleyOphish
Aaron Hernandez...I mean Andrew Luck. Was sacked more than Jay Cutler and still had 4300 yards passing....as a rookie. never happened before. Also had 7 great game winning drives. Meet QB Bills. RGII as a rookie put up 3200 yards passing, 20 TDs only 5 ints AND 815 yards rushing with 7tds. I sense attributes similar to QB Eagles on this one. I think Adrian Peterson should get some love since he ran for over 2,000 yards on a new knee. Bo Jackson in Purple. JJ tWatt is a good candidate. Reggie White/Bob Nelson Combo? Calvin Johnson and his 122 grabs for 1964 yards makes sense as well. Jerry Rice Numbers in the Silver and Honolulu Blue. COA Elway
J.J. Watt. Let's get away from the offensive side for a year or two. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
steelache
Blair Walsh or Andy Lee. Tecmo is an alternate world and as such is the perfect place to honor the unheralded men of special teams.

Knobbe
Should we start a poll/vote? If we haven't figured out an obvious cover athlete, then we'll poll it out.

I tend to agree. RG III was on the cover of NCAA 2011...I could still see it for Tecmo since it wasn't Madden
GameplayLoop
Aaron Hernandez in an orange jump suit. Too soon? Real suggestion: Adrian Peterson. JJ Watt had a really good year. But AP was close to history.
keithisgood
All-Day a.k.a. Circus Peanut a.k.a. 9 Yards Shy a.k.a. Purple Jesus. JJ Watt is a beast and the picture earlier in the thread is sweet, but to me, Adrian Peterson is the clear choice. Offense is sexy and he's more recognizable among casual football fans. buck
and he's more recognizable among casual football fans. can you tell me who the guy is on the original cover of TSB? "I was going to buy/download TSB, but I had no idea who the fuck was on the cover, so I didn't download/buy it." philleyOphish
If we are not able to use players that have already been on a cover, then JJ Watt or Andrew Luck are your only options. While legendary Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders is the cover athlete of current-gen versions of Madden 25, current Minnesota Vikings superstar Adrian Peterson was announced as the cover athlete for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game at EA's E3 press conference on June 10th. I'm going to throw this one out there. What do you think about Tannehill? No, not Mrs. Tannehill, Mr. Tannehill... moulds33
