  3. Ken Griffey Jr Baseball - All-Time Greats View File This is a custom hack of the original KGB SNES game, but with all-time legends on every team's roster! I tried to include a bit of every championship era a team had on each roster, spanning all 98 seasons in MLB's live-ball era from 1920-2018. ROSTER STRUCTURES I also kept the game's basic structure fundamentals for rosters. So every team has 5 starting pitchers, 5 relievers, 8 (or 9 in the AL) starting position players and 7 (or 6 in the AL) bench position players. I also stayed true to the original's roster makeup so that every bench has a catcher, 3 infielders and 3 outfielders -- except in the AL, where the DH's natural position dictates the remaining bench positions (example - David Ortiz's natural position was 1B, so the Red Sox only have 2 IFs on the bench). Generally, a player appears on the team he played his best seasons for. But there are some exceptions in order to get as many deserving players in the game as I could (example - Mike Piazza had his best seasons with the Dodgers from '93-'97, but he is the Mets' starting catcher in this game). Also, I made a rule that no player can appear more than once in the game. So you will not see Barry Bonds on the Pirates and the Giants or Frank Robinson on the Reds and the Orioles. PLAYER STATS Player's stats are based on their 5 peak seasons of their career, regardless of the team they played for. For example, Frank Robinson's AVG. is his 5 best career batting averages averaged out; his HR total is his 5 peak home run seasons averaged; and his RBI total is his 5 peak RBI seasons averaged. The same basic rules apply to pitchers as well for their ERA, Wins, Losses and Saves. Also, in order to really see every player on an equal playing field the 5-year peak season stats are pro-rated. So for instance, if you look at Tony Gwynn's stats in the game, those are his 5-year peak numbers pro-rated to 500 ABs. All position players' stats are pro-rated to 500 ABs. All starting pitchers' stats are pro-rated to 36 GS. And all relievers' stats are pro-rated to 70 G. This allows you to look at the players on even ground, so a player who may have usually had 720 plate appearances won't have bloated stats over a guy who may have only normally had 500 plate appearances during his 5-year peak. PLAYER RATINGS/SKILLS Player's skill ratings also had a specific system I used. Using players' 5-year peak season numbers and pro-rated to 500 AB/36 GS/70 G, here were the ranking systems I used for each skill rating: HITTERS BAT uses the hitter's batting average in their 5-yr peak. Below is the system I used: (I didn't show 1-4 since there not any players rated that low) POW uses the hitter's home runs in their 5-yr peak and pro-rated to 500 AB. Below is the system I used: SPD uses the hitter's Stolen Base attempts + 3Bs in their 5-yr peak pro-rated to 500 AB. DEF uses the hitter's fielding percentage as well as DRS (Defensive Runs Saved). For outfielders, I also took into account their assists. For catchers, their CS% was also used. If a player received a GG they more than usually received a 9. Players with multiple Gold Gloves almost always received a 10 DEF rating. However, there are a few players who had great defense (9 or 10) that never won a GG. So that is always a good indicator of how well a player's defense is. PITCHERS SPD uses the pitcher's SO/9 innings pitched in their 5-yr peak. CON uses the pitcher's WHIP as well as FIP in their 5-yr peak. FAT uses the starting pitcher's innings pitched per games started in their 5-yr peak and a reliever's innings pitched per games played. PLAYER'S PHYSICAL APPEARANCES I tried to be as faithful as I could to all player's physical appearances. Whether that was physical stature and physique, batting stances, hair length and color, facial hair or skin tones. I think I did a decent job and hope you feel like the players match their real-life counterparts as much as this game allows. If anybody notices a mistake or something that may need to be fixed, please let me know! I will fix it and re-upload an updated version. Please leave any feedback, criticism, suggestions or comments on here! I'd love to know what anybody else thinks that downloads and plays this. Also, I have a '98 expansion edition I will also upload very soon. ENJOY!!!! Ken Griffey Jr. All-Time Edition.smc Submitter Darth Brett Submitted 03/23/2019 Category SNES

This is the '98 expansion edition of my All-Time Greats hacked ROM of KGB. It plays and was designed to be exactly the same as the regular version and player ratings and stats also use the same system I used for the regular All-Time Greats edition. **A few special things to note** I wanted Arizona and Tampa Bay to have similar uniform looks to what they have in real life. But until I learn how to hex edit, we are forced to use the game's default designs. Because of those limitations, I ended up replacing the Houston Astros with the Tampa Bay (Devil) Rays and the Texas Rangers with the Arizona Diamondbacks. So while the stadiums and uniform looks of those 2 teams are semi-accurate or as close to what they can be or what they should be - obviously the Rays are in NL and the Diamondbacks are in the AL in my version of the game. For exhibition play, this won't be an issue since you can simply turn on or off the DH rule. But for season play, the Rays will be DH-less and playing against NL teams and the D-Backs will have a DH and be battling AL teams. But at least the teams are present and their all-time rosters can be played with. Of course since the original game also only enables you to pick from 28 teams, this also means this '98 Expansion Edition won't allow you to play the Astros or Rangers vs the Rays or D-Backs. I would also love to replace the Houston and Texas logos at some point with Arizona and TB's so they will be accurate. As well as also attempt to change the team names on the gameplay screens and standings screens so they will be accurate as well. I need to learn how to edit with the hex editors and SNES palettes and need help with that though. So that would be included in a later update of this ROM if and when I am able to figure that stuff out. As always, any feedback, criticism or suggestions is extremely welcome! ENJOY!!! Hey I know most of you are probably going to get mad at me but I was wondering if anyone could put in the normal faces(original ROM had blank faces), Major League Football logo and team logo colors for the preseason menu and for the large helmets. 9. Hey, the ROM is at VERY-BOTTOM OF THIS POST -=October 12=- Note - to play a season, you will have to have a "2nd controller" set up, for away games. --->>>I personally use the same controller set up for both 1 Player and the 2nd Player controller. Know thy emulator. In the 2013-14 NFL TSB Streets, EVERYONE hears you scream....but nobody cares. Adam Sandler playing tennis-ball hockey with his funny friends is on a totally different street - so get lost if you're looking for your momma's TSB foosball. Here, there's no "out of bounds" - only "out of play"...and although you claw and grope the TSB Street Walls, you will not avoid confrontation. But don't be afraid to FORCE things in these TSB Streets - 'cause son, there is just no way to play it safe. And when you think you've met your match: your hair-trigger-itchy-finger will see you through these TSB streets. Play a Season, you're gonna meet some other NFL friends on the Street - Teams that were not good enough to make the 16-team cut - but they ain't on the sidewalk with a fistful of crack, they ready to roll. You thinks you can BALL, dog - thinks you can TAP? That A-button better be synaptically connected to your TSB Soul. Will you have to eventually "fight yourself" (7-on-7) in the high-speed 2014 Street Bowl? 10. View File Tecmo Super Bowl: Gold This is Tecmo Super Bowl: Gold. I started working on this Legends-themed ROM back in March. I delayed the release of this ROM for the simple fact that around the time of the originally planned debut, a glut of other "Legends" ROMs burst onto the scene as well. So as not to (a) get lost in the shuffle or (b) take away from the spotlight of other modders, I pulled my work. This delay allowed me to fine-tune this ROM into what I would consider the "gold-standard" of Legends edits (hence, the "Gold" title) previously established by my past Convergence ROMs. Each team is comprised of the greatest players in franchise history, whether it's based on talent, records, or the impact they left on the team (Players like Tim Tebow and Kordell Stewart are included for the latter reasons). In addition to the team rosters, the All-Pro rosters have been edited to contain the greatest players in the history of the National Football League. I've combed over this ROM obsessively. If there are any errors, please let me know. Enjoy! Submitter Baron von Lector Submitted 08/17/2016 Category Misc ROMs

This RBI Baseball ROM is based on the 1986 Major League Baseball season. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/MLB/1986.shtml There are 30 teams, total. It contains all 26 MLB clubs, the American and National League All-Star teams, and two teams of Legends (featuring the likes of Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Bob Gibson, etc.). I based the player ratings on their statistics from the 1986 season. The Legends' ratings are based on their career averages, pro-rated over a 162-game season. Enjoy!

  13. ***UPDATED 4/8/2013.*** My goal on this rom was to simply update the original rom and fix some of the issues, such as broken passing accuracy and using the wrong MS during Kick/Punt returns, correcting names, etc. This has been a project that I have had for a long time, but for some reason there has been increased intrest in this type of ROM, so I decided to finish it. Enjoy! Hacks Installed: 1.) Ability to change your playbook while in a game. 2.) QB Eagles, QB Bills, QB Browns names, numbers and pictures all corrected. 3.) PA/PC Hack: Pass Control = Ability to throw on target, Pass Accuracy = Ability to complete a pass 4.) Touckback Hack: Running out of bounds in the endzone doesn't result in a safety, it's now a touchback. 5.) KR/PR return Hack. KRs and PRs use their own MS during returns. NOTES: Touckback Hack: Running out of bounds in the endzone doesn't result in a safety....it's now a touchback. Get tackled in the endzone after a kickoff is no longer a safety...it's now a touchback. You could still technically after a kickoff, run out of the endzone and back in and it would still be a touchback. But, I don't forsee that happening often and would never happen by the computer. It does take away the kickoffs where David Fulcher tears down the field and smashes the KR in the endzone for a safety....that's now a touchback. POSSIBLE FUTURE HACKS: 1.) Use Quickness for INT and FUMBLE Return MS. 2.) See the Stats at the end of each quarter or half. 3.) Install the "OPTIONS" feature that may have Weather, QTR Length or Juice Mode ON/OFF. BUGS: When kicking off very deep, sometimes the COM KR will take a little longer to get to the ball. This results in the ball bouncing sometimes before picking it up. TSB 1991 Enchanced.nes

This is Super Mario Bros. 2016! In short, this is a graphically enhanced version of the original Super Mario Bros. for the NES. Using Tile Layer Pro, I swapped out most of SMB's sprites with those found in Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3. Those that I didn't swap, I modified to give them more of a SMB2/3 feel. No gameplay was modified, as this is strictly a cosmetic update. In fact, the only time I used a hex editor was when I changed the date on the title screen from 1985 to 2016. Nothing more. Enjoy!

The RBI Baseball re-releases keep on coming. This ROM is based on the 2001 season, the year that Barry Bonds broke baseball. The teams included in this ROM include: Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks, Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, Atlanta Braves, and Chicago Cubs.
  16. Hi, anyone seen a good place with a comprehensive catalog of TSB ROM versions (different years, etc)? Might have someone mod a NES Classic Mini and want to pimp it with a good selection of TSB versions. --------------------------------- I've seen: 1) This url (TecmoBowl.org "ROMs by year") has a few options... 2) ... and TecmoSB.com (clicky) has a link for "TSB Roms Collection <=== last update: 11/16/2014." I haven't been able to open this one, but it appears to have so many ROMs, that some years have 5-10+ versions. --------------------------------- Figured by now, someone may have already edited a good catalog list somewhere. nbd if not.
  17. Ken Griffey Baseball 2016 View File It's finally here! This ROM is based on the 2016 Major League Baseball season. The rosters are mostly based on the opening day rosters with a small sampling of "modder preferences" (i.e. Yu Darvish, Aroldis Chapman, etc). As a base-ROM, I used a slightly modified version of Ken Griffey Presents: Major League Baseball that has the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Angels in the place of the Montreal Expos and Anaheim Angels. Also, while keeping the Florida Marlins logo, in the game I replaced "Florida" with "Miami." I used JG Games' editor to do most of the editing. However, there were some categories that, for whatever reason, the editor was limited. While the ratings vary from 1 thru 10, for batting power and fielding I was limited to 9. So, I used HxD's hex-editor to give a handful of batters a 10 rating for power, and the last two seasons' Gold Glove award winners (and Aaron Hicks) a 10 for fielding. Also, I replaced the entire Home Run Derby roster (except for Ken Griffey, Jr.) with historic home-run heroes. So, the likes of Nick Noheart, Sammy Scrap, Can O'Corn, and others have been replaced with Barry Bonds (single season and career HR champ), Hank Aaron (former career HR champ), Babe Ruth (former single season and career HR champ), Roger Maris (former single season HR champ), and Mike Schmidt. Right now, for the sake of annual re-useability, On this note, I believe I've covered everything. If I've overlooked anything or you notice anything glaringly incorrect, please let me know. Enjoy! 18. TSB NCAA14 I'm happy that College Football finally embraced the playoff format even if it's only 4 teams. I think 8 will be ideal and it seems to be coming soon with the money it would generate. In the rom, if you want to re-live the 2014 season then you can just play through Week17 and be done. If you prefer to have the end of season bracket like I do then go for it as I left it in. In the schedule, I also tried to add some of the non-conference games that happened in the real season and some of the previous years' bowl games. Schedule: 12 games each Week 13 Rival Week & Army-Navy Game Week 14 Conference Championships Week 15 Bowl Games Week 16 College Football Playoff (Florida State vs Oregon / Ohio State vs Alabama) Week 17 College Football Championship (Ohio State vs Oregon) Features: Team Rankings (not perfect but close) on each of their helmets. I stink at doing helmets so I came up with an idea and Proads26 made it a reality for me. My teams were ranked very close to the USA Today Coaches Poll right after the National Championship. I used bruddog's thread ranking the teams for MAN games as I make roms to play with my friends head to head. I also used some info from Mort's Top20 Matchups thread to make rival games that would be good MAN vs MAN games. My friend and I tried to match the NCAA14 team with a team either similarly ranked from TSB or that had similar roster profile. No, it's not perfect but it's easier than rating every player and I don't have the patience or free time for that type of work. I used a random name generator to do the rosters but then decided to name the QB, RB, WR, TE and a few on defense. It's finally here! Enjoy!

Here is the Spring Training edition of my upcoming RBI Baseball 2016 ROM. All 30 Major League Baseball teams are featured, using TecmoTurd's expanded 30-team ROM and editor. Because this is the Spring Training edition, each team's starting lineup may not be 100% accurate. However, I used the projected depth charts on MLB.com, and a sampling of each team's 2015 starting lineups in order to determine the rosters, so it's pretty close. This is called the Spring Training edition, because in 2 weeks after Opening Day, I will be releasing the final version of RBI Baseball 2016 featuring Opening Day lineups. The Spring Training serves the purpose of getting you ready for the 2016 Major League Baseball season and also a preview of RBI Baseball 2016. To determine player ratings, I used my traditional formula based on linear regression (LINK HERE). Enjoy! NOTE: Because the Chicago White Sox do not want Adam LaRoche's son to play RBI Baseball 2016 in the clubhouse, he (Adam LaRoche) is not featured in this game.
  21. View File TSB Convergence: Final Edition This is the final edition of Tecmo Super Bowl: Convergence. For those that haven't followed this project, this is a ROM that contains the greatest teams in each franchise's history. With this ROM, you can pit the battle of the undefeateds as the 1972 Dolphins are pitted against the 2007 Patriots, or hop in the way-back machine as Jim Brown and the 1964 Cleveland Browns square off against Bart Starr and the 1962 Green Bay Packers. There are 32 teams with fair representation of the decades going back to the 1960s (60s (7 teams), 70s (4), 80s (5), 90s (8), 00s (4), 10s (4)). The teams included are: 1960 Philadelphia Eagles 1961 Houston Oilers 1962 Green Bay Packers 1963 San Diego Chargers 1964 Cleveland Browns 1968 New York Jets 1969 Kansas City Chiefs 1970 Baltimore Colts 1972 Miami Dolphins 1976 Minnesota Vikings 1978 Pittsburgh Steelers 1983 Los Angeles Raiders 1985 Chicago Bears 1986 New York Giants 1988 Cincinnati Bengals 1989 San Francisco 49ers 1990 Buffalo Bills 1991 Detroit Lions 1991 Washington Redskins 1992 Dallas Cowboys 1998 Denver Broncos 1998 Atlanta Falcons 1999 Jacksonville Jaguars 1999 St. Louis Rams 2000 Baltimore Ravens 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2007 New England Patriots 2009 New Orleans Saints 2012 Houston Texans 2013 Seattle Seahawks 2015 Arizona Cardinals 2015 Carolina Panthers There have been some changes since the last release of Convergence 3.0. First and foremost, the 1975 Steelers have been replaced with the 1978 version of the team. The 1999 Tennessee Titans have reverted back to the 1961 Houston Oilers (the team that was featured in Convergence 1.0, replaced in 2.0). A few graphical tweaks have been made, mostly in presentations. On each of the Team Data screens, I have put a year "sticker" on the team helmets (see screenshot gallery). Also, new to the Convergence franchise are the inclusion of All-Time Super Bowl teams. With help from the TecmoBowl.org community, I was able to set an AFC and NFC All-Time Super Bowl roster for play in Pro Bowl mode. I'm sure there are discussions to be had regarding my choices for the team, but keep in mind my selections were based on (a) Super Bowl performance, (b) and player availability. In regards to player availability, one of the reasons that I replaced the '75 Steelers with the '78 team was because I couldn't imagine an AFC all-time Super Bowl team without Mike Webster at center. Mike Webster was on the 1978 team. He was not on the 1975 team. One other major update was the correction of the ROMs simdata. In previous versions of Convergence, it was not uncommon for Walter Payton or Thurman Thomas to lead the league, both in rushing, but also in receiving. In fact, the league's leading receivers were comprised of 95% running backs. This is no longer an issue. I also went back and recompiled defensive player simdata. In short, I figured out that using my editor's "Auto Update All Player Sim Attribute" button was a horrible, HORRIBLE idea and the bane of this ROM's existence. This has been fixed, so expect to see Lawrence Taylor, Rod Woodson, and the like at the top of the league leaderboards. Enjoy! Submitter Baron von Lector Submitted 03/14/2016 Category Misc ROMs

  23. Blades of Steel - Olympic Hockey Edition View File This is a ROM edit of the original Blades of Steel for the NES, published originally in 1988, but with an Olympic twist to it. Instead of featuring eight professional teams, this ROM features eight countries from around the world, to include: United States, Japan, Switzerland, Canada, England, Russia, Germany, and France. Along with changing the team names, I've edited the uniform colors as well (Canada vs. France depicted the attached screenshots). The acutal gameplay hasn't been changed. This is strictly a presentation modification. Enjoy! Submitter Baron von Lector Submitted 01/22/2016 Category NES

  25. ROM FINALLY READY! (See bottom of this post) ======== Only 16 NFL teams. The game is still fast, tough, and fun. This is by far the best and most refined version yet. However, there might still be a few minor graphical bugs that pop up from time to time. This is a work in progress, but this version represents a good 1/2 year of tweaks from the last version. So enjoy it. There are a few new plays this year, and quite a few plays have been updated/tweaked. There is a new formation "Pistol" and it has a "option run", an "option sweep", and a pass. (not real option, but try it and see - 49ers have the Pistol default playbook, check it out.) There is a pass "diva" available in each passing slot, etc. EXPLORE the plays. Lots of ways to run a season with different playbooks, etc. Divas and any play (except normal runs and passes) where the MAN controls someone other than the primary ball carrier - the graphic looks like an "M". Here's the layout of the playbooks. This post will be updated as needed. ======== tsb 14-15 NFL STREET buck v1A.nes peace out.
