I was curious if there was more information on this?? All I could find about Passing Speed was this from Bruddog: How do these values breakdown so you get something like Marino throws the ball at 5 yards per second while Grogan throws it 1 yard per second or whatever? Also, how does Passing Arc derive from all this? I read on here that the Passing Speed numbers are found at 0x2BE54 I can see those 16 values in a hex editor but I have no idea what they mean: 44 46 48 4A 4C 4E 50 52 54 56 58 5A 5C 5E 60 62

In my playthroughs of several Tecmo Super Bowl seasons, it seems that the CPU covers passing plays increasingly as the season progresses. For example, in a game (with 5 min quarters) it is easy to get well over 400 yards passing. However, by about week 8 or 9 it is difficult to get more than 300 yards. Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know if this is a part of the game's programming? Has this been documented anywhere? Or do I somehow regress in my playing ability halfway through the season each time I play through a season?

Hi all, New to the forum. I’ve been obsessively trying to see how many yards passing I could get in a season. After 7 seasons with the Oilers I was able to reach 13,283 yards. I’m curious if anyone has tried this silliness and what you got. Here’s an image of a 1,064 yard passing game to prove it’s achievable. My highest tally in a single game.
