  1. If you go to the menu while on offense during the play call screen and select field goal or punt on 1st, 2nd or 3rd down and then don't kick the ball and allow your player to be tackled, the game will still turn the ball over on downs. I accidently pushed punt on 2nd down and thought i would just allow my punter to get tackled and then I would have 3rd and long, but it turned the ball over on downs.
  2. 1st, Is there any way to have all 12 of the playbooks available during a game or at least a second playbook? 2nd, Is there a way to have different defensive alignments aside from 3-4 and 4-3. (3-3-3, 6-1-2 or a 4-1-4 to actually put the best players on the field as opposed to only 3 or 4 lineman/line backers and 2 DB's) 3rd, is there anyone that can add those hacks to the 32 Team Base ROM by Keithisgood? It would be cool to have a little more variation to each team. Thanks
  3. Was talking with a friend the other day and before we knew what any of the player attributes were for the original Tecmo Bowl, we would try and figure out who was faster. Of course you could use the stats that the game provided and it gave you an good indication of the faster players, but no a true indication. Another way was just the eye and feel test. If he looked faster and moved faster then that was probably so. The other way we tested to see the speed was to score a touchdown and as soon as you crossed the goal line, start running the other way, the further you get away from the goal line the faster the player. We actually did this for every team and every offensive player to "rank" them. Little did we know that there were attributes that make players faster from the get go vs after say 3 yards. Anyways just a stroll down memory lane, before the game was vetted out down to the tiniest detail.
