  1. View File SEC vs Big Ten Legends Welcome to the future. 2024 will introduce 16 teams for the Big Ten and 16 teams for the SEC, thus in the words of the media making 2 Super Conferences. First off, thank you to Baron Von Lector. This ROM is a variation of his hard work. If you haven't check out his other ROM hacks on his site. I tried Super Mario with SNES graphics, pretty cool. Next, since we don't know accurate rosters for 2024, I went ahead and created a LEGENDS edition. Best of the best for each school. Turned out to be much more difficult for teams like Rutgers and Vanderbilt haha. I like TSB3 so added a couple of features that are borrowed from there. Field is one color for simplicity and to fix a couple of minor field glitches with the original rom. Changed a lot of colors. There are 2 versions, neither are more or less difficult. If you wish to modify to amp the JUICE, there are plenty of articles on this site to help you do that. Basically, there is a VANILLA version with little to no hacks involved and one that I added a few hacks that I see as adding to the game. These hacks are: Add Hut to Pre-Snap Decrease Fumbles by 30% Various Special Teams Hacks (Directional Punts, kickoff locations moved, touchbacks moved, add touchbacks for kickoffs, wedge kickoff return) Remove Excess Diving by CPU. Makes it a lot more difficult if you can't just fake the CPU to get them to dive haha Player Controlled QB Rollout. Change Preseason music to use Pro Bowl values. I want to say thank you to everyone on this site who has contributed. I've had a LOT of fun playing these variations, especially the college ones (I find college to be more exciting than pro personally) and especially the SNES versions, I'm not there yet personally, but I admire what some can do. Wish we could get an NCAA TSB3 at some point, maybe I'll try to attack that next. Obviously there is talk of further expansion of these conferences, so at some point maybe I'll replace the lesser teams with newer additions if/when that happens. Also, perhaps the new Big 12 could play one of these conferences. All ideas I'm floating but want to see if this one goes over well or if it's not worth the trouble. I personally am enjoying playing this and feel like it's a solid idea, but I can't say for certain. If there are suggestions that you want to pass along, feel free, although please keep in mind I'm fairly new at this so bear with me. Was a lot of fun to do though. 2. Can someone help me make a rom hack that's very simple. I just want all of Penn State's stats to be maxed out and to have all of their conditions excellent. The file to hack will be below. NCAA 2017-18_TSB_1.2.nes

  4. I'm curious if anyone is going to make a TSB NCAA 2018 rom for this upcoming season. Dave? Baron? Buck? Xplozv? I usually do but don't see it happening right now.
  5. View File NCAA: TSB 2016 I have been sitting on this ROM for almost a year before finally releasing it. This is a collaborative effort between myself and Dave Murray. The ROM was originally finished at the end of the 2015-16 NCAA football season and is based on said season. Unless I missed anything, all instances of "NFL" have been removed from the game and replaced with NCAA logos, so that the game will have an authentic college football feel. There are 32-teams on the ROM, with each team having their own helmet art included on their team data screens (helmet art courtesy of Dave Murray). These lucky 32 teams are: Florida State Clemson Pittsburgh Miami Missouri Georgia South Carolina Florida Auburn Texas A&M Louisiana State Alabama Syracuse Louisville Virginia Tech Notre Dame Michigan Nebraska Ohio State Wisconsin Oklahoma Kansas State Baylor Oklahoma State Stanford South California UCLA Oregon Texas Iowa Michigan State Penn State The rosters and ratings were set at the end of the season so they would reflect performances throughout the season. Again, this ROM is a year old in terms of rosters. However, perhaps this ROM can set the groundwork as a base-ROM for future releases. 6. View File NCAA Tecmo Bowl 2017 This is NCAA Tecmo Bowl 2017! Using the original Tecmo Bowl (not Tecmo Super Bowl), this ROM consists of 32 NCAA football schools. I used a few different criteria when determining which of the 120+ teams to use in this game, from historical reputation (i.e. Notre Dame, Alabama), TB.org community interest (i.e. Syracuse, Purdue), recent success (i.e. Boise St., Oregon), and the military academies. Using the original Tecmo Bowl's ratings as a template, the players were rated based on 2015 season statistics, 2016 partial season statistics, various Heisman watch websites, and other sources. Rosters, ratings, home/away uniforms, cutscenes, and other small details were updated to ensure this is as authentic of an NCAA experience as this 8-bit simulation can provide. Aside from teams selection (as I'm sure not everybody will agree with my selections), if there are any glaring errors, please bring them to my attention. Enjoy! 7. College Slam 2017 View File This ROM is a 2017 update to the 1996 SNES release of College Slam, the NCAA version of NBA Jam. In the original game, there were no players - just generic names like "PT GUARD," "CENTER," etc. I have edited all the names to reflect the top five players from all 44 included teams. I've updated the names, player ratings, appearances, and a couple of team names (FSU becomes Florida State, UNC becomes North Carolina). As an added bonus, when you press UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT-UP-DOWN-LEFT-RIGHT on the title screen, you can unlock 9 extra teams. I've edited these as well. The unlockable teams are the 2010 thru 2016 All-American teams, BaronROMs University, and the East Side Crew (folks I grew up with who traveled between each other's houses, having SNES TSB and NBA Jam parties on the weekends). Enjoy! The complete list of teams available is: Alabama Arizona Arkansas Boston College California Cincinnati Connecticut Duke Florida Florida State Georgetown Georgia Georgia Tech Illinois Indiana Iowa Kansas Kentucky LSU Maryland Massachusetts Michigan Michigan St. Missouri North Carolina North Carolina State Nebraska Memphis Ohio State Oklahoma Oklahoma State Penn State Purdue St. John's Syracuse Texas UCLA UNLV Southern Cal. 8. Hi, Looking for any older NCAA tecmo football ROMs. Seems they only go back a few years on here, but I remember them being made probably back a decade ago. Anyone care to share a classic NCAA ROM? Thanks! Joel
  9. View File TSB NCAA 2016 My TSB NCAA 2016 is for this upcoming year. EA always being a year ahead is dumb. This rom is complete and I don't see me making any updated versions in the near future. My teams were ranked according to Phil Steele's Annual Magazine Pre-Season Poll. I used bruddog's thread ranking the teams for MAN games and Phil Steele's Unit Rankings to compare and determine which NCAA team should get which Original TSB offense and defense. I did all the names for every player and the depth charts (from early July) according to Ourlads site and for the gaps I used Phil Steele's Magazine again. RANK - NCAA (TSB OFF/DEF) 1. The OL starting five is right for each team but are out of position as I forgot Ourlads order was different than TSB's. Oh well. Sorry to fans of Army, Navy, Oregon, Oklahoma State, South Florida, Pittsburgh, Air Force, Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Utah, Arizona State, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Western Michigan and BYU as they didn't make the cut. Oregon seems to be the only team that you could argue should be in the game but Phil Steele projects that UCLA, USC, Washington and Stanford will all have better years this season and the PAC12 only gets 4 teams in my game. 14. I was making an all-time college romhack, and thought I was all done after the meticulous roster and stat editing rigmarole, and now I'm unable to even start a game. Just looking to know where to start troubleshooting. Any help is appreciated, relevant info below. Using TSBTool Supreme- text of edit attached. Base rom is Pacnsacdave's NCAA 2020 hack which still works as normal for me (got it from somewhere on here but couldn't relocate it for reference- used it to avoid adding custom helmets/logos/etc on top of all the other editing to do). Game crashes as opening kickoff is being returned in Mesen; screen severely freezes and glitches, sometimes resets. In other retroarch emulator cores (NEStopia, FCEumm) screen goes black before kickoff and is unable to proceed. tecmorosebowl1

  17. Attention Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bowl users, I am new to the Tecmo website, and I need to know how to change teams and rosters for my county of High School Football and all NCAA Teams from NCAA Football series by EA Sports. Please respond to this and help me with this new stuff I'm going to do while I look at the rosters of my county of High School Football.
  18. Hi all, Looking for some answers to a few basic questions. Hope you can help! I have a couple of different 32-team ROM's...assuming it doesn't matter which one, I am trying to convert the ROM from NFL teams to college teams. I have narrowed it down to the 32 teams I want and have grouped them in relevant groups of 4 according to geography. I want to: - Edit team names in all of the parts they are displayed. (i.e. Atlanta Falcons will now be Florida State Seminoles) - Edit player names and data to have it be relevant to the FSU players - Edit team colors - Edit football helmets (I have another ROM that has some of the helmets from 2006...maybe I can extract them?) - Edit playbooks I know there are a bunch of utilities that all claim to do this. However, not all seem to work with the 32-team ROM. I have used TSB Tool Supreme a little bit, but can't figure out how to change team names...editing stats and player names seems simple enough. I'm not a total rube when it comes to editing things like this, so feel free to give me some technical answers. The other kicker is that I'm running Vista 64-bit, which I assume will cause some compatibility issues, since it almost always seems to. But I have a work laptop with Windows 7 on it, so maybe it will work on that?

  20. Hey guys, I almost feel bad for coming here and asking a bunch of questions. I've lurked the boards for a few months and finally have some time to set aside to ask some things. Please don't be offended by my newbiness. A group of friends and I want to SIM football. We are Simmers, mostly we SIM Fire Pro Wrestling (before Returns and now Fire Pro Wrestling World). That community is much like this one, we've been making new memories using our favorite classic game (which is now having a rebirth with this new steam version). Essentially we want to start out with the original 32 teams and rosters, pick our teams and simulate the games (one person would likely do the simming from their PC) the results would be posted. And we would come up with all kinds of other storylines and stuff that would make it more of an interactive story. We also want to track stats, assign awards etc, and then draft players and start a new season. Is this possible with TSB? If so, would anyone be able to point me in the direction of the stuff we need? I'm a bit overwhelmed by it all, and I want to make sure I get the right mods etc.
