This ROM is based on the upcoming 2015-2016 NBA season. Using ESPN.com's depth charts, the rosters are accurate as of 9-15-15. Most of the work was done using Emuware's Tecmo NBA Manager, however, there were many aspects of the game that couldn't be changed using the editor. For this, I used FCEUX's hex editor and Tile Layer Pro. Using these additional tools, I was able to update team logos (Oklahoma City Thunder and Washington Wizards), remove obsolete hairstyles (mustaches, boxy flat-tops) and replace them with more current head accessories (long hair, headbands, and Jahlil Okafor's exploding afro), replace instances of "1991-92" with "2015-16", and other miscellaneous items. Along with roster updates, I (to the best of my knowledge) fixed the ratings to reflect the real-life counterparts. However, there is one small minor issue that doesn't affect gameplay, but can be annoying if you're all about 100% accuracy. There are some mercenaries in the game (Festus Ezeli, Mike Miller, Joey Dorsey, and Spencer Hawes) that try to ruin the simulation experience during season play. For some strange reason, these players, regardless of how I rate them (and they're relatively low-rated), end up leading the league in scoring with 30+ points-per-game every season. I don't know why this is. If you can ignore them, right underneath them will be Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and the rest of the NBA elite. Like I said, it's just a small detail issue. There are 27 teams in the game. Nashville, Toronto, and New Orleans were the three teams that were left out. Enjoy!

  5. File Name: Tecmo Convergence 2 File Submitter: Baron von Lector File Submitted: 02 Sep 2015 File Category: Misc ROMs This ROM is a NES-exclusive and is an upgrade to the previous SNES/NES Tecmo Convergence that I release a month or so ago. When we last left the battle, in the year 2069, Supreme Emperor Jerry Jones captured 28 of the greatest NFL teams throughout the history of the NFL and put them on the field in his own demented real-life game of fantasy football. The Houston Oilers were promptly destroyed but five more teams entered the fray in hopes of taking their spot, feeling disrespected that Emperor Jerry had overlooked them: the Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Carolina Panthers. This brings the participant count to an even 32-teams. I used TB.org's base 32-team ROM as the basis of this update. Using Tile-Layer Pro and FCEUX's Hex-Editor, I even dabbled a bit in the realm of sprite and hex editing. Let me know if I've overlooked anything. When transferring some of the data from the SNES ROM to the NES ROM, I found some of the skin colors and faces had to be corrected. Click here to download this file

  7. Sup guys. Question, how does someone edit a teams uni colors/logo colors in Tecmo NBA for NES? Im trying to make the street team my friends and I are on. Basically where are they in the hex? I know the locations in TSB lol.
  8. Who should I run with for a seasonal TSB NES gameplay? I'm considering the PHX cardinals... I want to do video on a team that either isn't picked a whole lot, OR is a team without a super bowl victory like maybe PHX or SEA or SD. Any ideas?
  9. I have my first 2 videos of the season that I started. They are full games with commentary. I had to do the first video at night, and so it's a bit quiet... but the 2nd video is my best recording I've ever done. Great game! Game 1 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvWibgaEm4U&list=UU4nB2hdOPKCLfxAz6BsneHg&feature=c4-overview Games 2 and 3 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeqfOiU7aAI&list=UU4nB2hdOPKCLfxAz6BsneHg&feature=c4-overview Thanks for watching. God Bless All of You!
  10. Well, I basically want to make a 32-team rom out of one of the Tecmo Street roms I've made (7-man, 50 yd field, etc - jstout thing). The thing is, it's based on 28-team rom. So this leads to the question: what is the best way to take "everything" (graphics, hacks, physics, etc) from this 28-team rom and plug it into a 32-teamer - what code areas should I avoid? I know that the teams will not line up the same, but that's not a big deal. Or - is there a "way" to simply turn any given 28-team rom into a 32-team rom? That would be ideal - because I don't want to change anything else - just the number of teams to 32 (oh, and the mini-helmet screens can change, too). What are the necessary code locations to bring to the 28-teamer?

  13. Is it possible to get this game in cartridge for so I can play it in my NES?
  14. I'm thinking about putting together a TSB Tournament for the NES over here in NJ. Northern Jersey area in Passaic County. I have a group of guys willing to put this together. It could be a good location as it could bring in players from NY area and maybe even Philly. I have a venue that I could use no problem. We have held many birthdays and bachelor parties there. It has its own seperate room with a bar in the other room. It could hold a good amount of players. I have about 4 consoles I can get right now and could put together a site for sign ups etc. Was just wondering if anyone here would be interested in playing if I do put it together. I was looking to do it probably on a Saturday on Feb 2nd. Its super bowl weekend. The super bowl is that Sunday. So you have you Super Bowl, World Series, Mega Bowl etc. And Saturday Feb 2nd we could have a NES Tecmo Super Bowl tournament. Mario Pirchala [email protected]

This was a collaborative effort between myself (hex editing), Bodom and stalltalk (ratings). There are 24 teams on the ROM. I kept most of the original teams, with a few exceptions (Hartford out/Anaheim in, San Jose out/Dallas in, New Jersey out/Nashville in, Quebec out/Colorado in). I based the rosters off of the depth charts on RotoWorld.com. Also, to give the game more of a Tecmo feel, I swapped out the main game font and replaced it with the font from Tecmo Super Bowl.
  16. File Name: Tecmo NCAA Basketball 2015 File Submitter: Baron von Lector File Submitted: 09 Nov 2015 File Category: NES This ROM is an edit of Tecmo NBA Basketball and is based on the 2014-15 NCAA Basketball season. With the 2015-16 season coming up, I chose to go with last season's rosters due to the fact that I wanted hard data to work with instead of speculative data. So, while there is no Ben Simmons in this ROM, there is plenty of Jahlil Okafor and Rakeem Christmas to go around. There are 27 teams included (see screenshots). To go along with the college rosters, I've edited all of the team logos and court logos. Play in the Carrier Dome! What I think makes this ROM special are the details that give it more of an NCAA-feel. Instead of playing in the NBA Playoffs, take your team through a 16-team March Madness tournament. Simdata had been adjusted so, again, the games feel more NCAA (80-70 games instead of 110-95). I've even included two All-American teams so you can play our own All-American All-Star Game. As a recommendation, set the season length to "Short" (26 games) to closely emulate the length of a typical 30-game NCAA season. There is only one downfall to this ROM that has to be mentioned, however. If you sim a season (with SKP), each team's #1 scorer will average over 60 points per game, while the rest of the team hovers at around 0.1. If anybody knows a fix to this, PLEASE, let me know. This was caused by using the Rabbit NBA Editor program. The workaround to this is by setting all of the teams' controls to COM (not yours) and letting the CPU battle it out. Most emulators have a speed control so you can set these games to 6400% and breeze them by. Enjoy! Click here to download this file

  19. November 15, 2014 With summer giving way to Tecmo season, it's time to gather the best foursome you can Muster. November 15, 2014 is the date of the 2014 Tecmo Ryder Cup. Taking place in Fargo, ND and the surrounding area, you never know what's around the corner. Many of you probably thought - and perhaps hoped - that our usurpation of the Ryder Cup hosting rights would be idle talk or more accurately, drunken banter. But somehow, someway, we were given the rights to the Ryder Cup, and the plan is not to disappoint. Light on boredom, but heavy on Butt Douglas (hey, Butt, you have to show up), we have some ideas in the works that will make this worth your trip. North Dakota has never been known as a threat to win a tournament, but we've generally been to known to have a good time at them, and we're ready to return the favor to all of you. Call Dotdon, tweet @PlazaToilets, and summon Murray and Orenga from the bathroom, because this is going to be a really good time. I promise. We don't lie. Usually. More info to come very soon about schedule, game types, lodging and how much booze will be there for the imbibing. In the meantime, we wanted to get this back on your radar, and hope that as many as possible will come to join us for the third and we promise (really), the best Ryder Cup yet. Peace, love, and Norwood. For information, please contact either: Joey Schmit (AKA Dr. Frolf) -- 701-367-2905 -- [email protected] -- @frolfware Neil Roesler (AKA Leonardite) -- 701-261-4892 -- [email protected] -- @leonardite The Tecmoers of the Dakotas have united and deemed an appropriate sequence of events for the Ryder Cup. Almost all of the rules will be reminiscent of the previous Ryder Cups, but there will be one Doubles Session that will be flipped. Madison rules will be used in all sessions, doubles and singles, except for the "North Dakota Rules" Tag Team Session. Firmly tentative details and schedule are as follows (schedule subject to change): * Teams should be compromised of 4 players * $100 entry fee per team ($25 per player) 11:00 -- Players picked up at host hotel in Fargo (yet to be determined) for transportation to Leonard, ND 11:30 -- If you are planning on driving out to Davenport (90 1st Ave, Davenport, ND 58021), meet there at this time 11:45 -- Arrive at the Leonard Country Club (5274 153rd Ave SE, Leonard, ND 58052), home to the team rounds of the competition. 12:00-4:00ish -- Team Rounds as follows: Doubles Session I: 2 Quarters Per Man: In this session, each partner must play 2 quarters, although it does not matter which two quarters. Doubles Session 2: Strictly Offense/Defense: In this session, one partner will play only offense while the other handles strictly defense. Singles Session1: Each participant in the Tecmo Ryder Cup will play 3 singles Matches. He nonetheless cannot play more than one Match against the same team/region. For instance, each member of Team Madison will play someone from Minnesota, someone from North Dakota, and someone from Neenah. Each participant must also play at least one Match in each of the two singles sessions. 4:30ish -- Players transported to Davenport, ND for the final destination games, the singles competition 4:30ish - 4:55 -- Recap team events, drink, regain composure for singles 5:00 - 7:30 -- Singles Sessions as follows: Tag Team Session: North Dakota Rules: In this session, all players from the team will play 1 quarter of the game, although it can be done in any order on the fly. North Dakota Rules are as follows: No changing playbooks. Everything else is fair game: lurching, any player at any position, etc. Basically once you are playing the game, all options are available. Each team will play all other teams one time in a round-robin style. Singles Session 2: Each participant in the Tecmo Ryder Cup will play 3 singles Matches. He nonetheless cannot play more than one Match against the same team/region. For instance, each member of Team Madison will play someone from Minnesota, someone from North Dakota, and someone from Neenah. Each participant must also play at least one Match in each of the two singles sessions. 7:30-7:45 -- Results tabulated 7:45 - 8:00 -- Ryder Cup Champions Honored 8:00 - ??? --- House Party Time. If you use an emulator that will not allow you to program or play as a 2nd player controller, I have provided a set of roms with the additional "nop2" characters in the rom filename. this "nop2" will play just like the original TSB - MAN will always be player one side when playing COM. -- We must thank the following, because this rom would not be possible without their past or present help: jstout, bruddog, cxrom, bad_al, average tsb player, elway, knobbe, bodom, and xplozv (jstout did not have any direct hand in the making of this ROM, but we thought we should credit him because we used his CIFL 7-on-7 ROM as our base) Enjoy!

Enjoy!

This is a special request RBI Baseball ROM based on the 2014 Atlantic League minor league baseball season (http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/league.cgi?id=d2e2946c). The teams included are the: York Revolution, Lancaster Barnstormers, Sugar Land Skeeters, Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, Somerset Patriots, Long Island Ducks, Camden Riversharks, and Bridgeport Bluefish. Because this is an 8-team league on a 10-team ROM, I’ve also included the Freedom Division All-Stars and the Liberty Division All-Stars.

  24. File Name: Nintendo World Cup 2014 File Submitter: Baron von Lector File Submitted: 06 Sep 2015 File Category: NES Here is an update of the NES classic "Nintendo World Cup." It has updated rosters (to reflect the 2014 World Cup). I also changed the uniforms to closely represent their real-life counterparts. Also, I tweaked the gameplay mechanics a little so that the players on the field run a little faster. A little disclaimer, this ROM was my guinea pig as I figured out how to make ROM modifications and color changes using a hex editor. Enjoy! Click here to download this file
  25. Okay, me and my friend are wanting to play SuperBowl 2013 Pre-Season just me and him, and we're kind of new to the online NES, and its been weeks stressful to figure it out. First thing we did is getting Nestopia for NES, we have tried version 36, 39, and 40, and finally, the version said 1.3/4. Second, we did what certain tutorial told us about, like getting a replacement for Kaillera, and getting Hamachi, etc. Along with Kaillera server. the only success we can get into is getting a master server and play online with other people, but ping ruin our fun so much, so we try to do 2 players only. We got the 2-Player exclusive Kaillera, and it keep helding us back so much. I test the Kailleraserver myself and try to use it on my other computer, and it got on there, but unfortunately, its not the same thing to my friend. Right now, we got the "Brudtopia" version from this site. It kind of looks like the closest we could get, but it result the same thing. Almost every tutorial we encounter is either outdated or "404 Not found". Any time we try to connect with Hamachi ID and our ID, it just keep having the same problem. The image file that has blue censor bar (for security reasons) is my friend's place, and the red one is mine. We tried using Hamachi, my ID, my friends ID, and Hamachi port, my port, 27888 port, and others, internal IPs. It just got more stressful figuring out certain things. If anyone can help us, it would be so kind for it. Thanks.
