  1. Bummer. Tecmo Stadium is a grass field, not turf. Can that be hacked?
  2. I would bet that the question that I'm going to ask has already been answered, and I want to apologize ahead of time for this as a result of that, but asking here is faster than reading through 16 pages of posts; Is this event going to be streamed over a platform like Twitch, YouTube, or something else? I'll say it like this: I'd tune in and I'm sure others would too.
  3. Oh. Any way of fixing it? (Not to be pushy)
  4. Am I the only one that if you click on the Members Map under the Live Tourney Tab at the top that it freezes up on? I think that the map is a cool idea and it would be awesome to see how the members of the site are displaced across the country. Anyone else have this issue?
  5. I have a teeny-tiny "lead" on a venue. I don't want to show my cards on that just yet because... well I'll explain that later if need be. Not to be secretive or annoying. Sorry. Just know it could be a location in a neighboring suburb to Boston. But I would imagine we would want to do it legit... NES Consoles, actual TSB cartridge, original NES controllers, etc.
  6. Still. I am just curious to see how it plays and whatnot. Could be cool for head to head games with friends or within online leagues. Leagues could easily create rules to limit 2PC usage to 4th quarters or if a team falls behind a lot, the same way some leagues have rules against being the 4th defender on kicks and limit onsides kicks.
  7. Interesting. This could have legs... At this rate a potential tourney would likely have to be in the Spring with all the snow we have.
  8. Really? Considering what Tecmonster said about there being cartridges out there with them, I find it interesting that there isn't a rom out there with it. Wouldn't someone just have to buy the cartridge, transfer it into a rom, and then have the code? (Keep in mind my knowledge of emulation is very low... I just know that in some capacity data is transferred from the cartridge to the computer into a .nes)
  9. I'm curious to play TSB with a 2 Point Conversion option. Anyone have a lead on one? Could be cool.
  10. Yeah, it would be cool to play the game as the 2007 Patriots (yes, I know, 18-1...) against the stock 49ers Roster, or to see if the current Seattle defense could hang with Bo Jackson. Would be a lot of work, but would be awesome.
  11. Hrm. I'd be lying if I said I remember you as well. Ha. Either way, yup, I was the Pats owner for P2. Which team were you?
  12. I'm back on the scene. Kind of. Let me Tarantino this... When I was in high school I found emulation, which naturally lead me back to Tecmo Super Bowl. I played and played and played. Then one day I stumbled across the OTFL and signed up, becoming the inaugural owner of the Patriots in their Pool 2 league. Guessing, I played easily the first 8 seasons of the OTFL P2, was called up to Pool 1 for a season or two but quit out of Pool 1 because they wanted me to give up my pool 2 team which I had built and put a lot of time into. Eventually I had to give it up for whatever reason. Tecmo had been a big part of my childhood. I loved nothing more than being the Chiefs and running over people with Christian Okoye. The hours logged playing that game were impossible to measure and my brother and I would get into legitimate fights over it. I always say when emotions like fighting and crying bring kids to tears means that whatever it is you're playing is a successful game. Freshman year of college I came across my old NES in the attic. Dusted it off and brought it to my dorm room. Despite brining may classics like Mike Tysons Punch Out or Megaman 2 back with me, nothing got more play than TSB. It was great to play live competition against those who were actually veterans of the game itself and not having to explain to them that they can't switch to the closest defender after the ball was snapped or that those will be the only eight plays they can choose all game. It was great. Now I'm on to the next phase of my life. Been in the workforce since graduating college, and the itch came back. I work with kids and part of my job was to be in charge of activities in a recreation room, which included video games. After watching kids that were under 10 years old struggle with Madden, I knew the right thing to do was to intodice them to Tecmo. It was a hit. I still work with kids, however now with Athletics. I don't get the chance to play Tecmo with them. Which lead to a random retweet I came across in my timeline brining me here. I love it. I need it. I can't get enough if it. I want to be the guy who starts the Tecmo scene in Boston. I want to go to or host a tournament in Boston before 2016. Who's with me?
  13. Man. This game and Where in the World is Carmen San Diego bring me back to elementary school. Playing those games in class was awesome. I remember playing Oregon Trail and having no idea what dysentary was. Haha.
