  1. This was done awhile ago for a challenge we found online. http://www.tecmo.us/arena/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=25149 We changed playbooks, cheating or not we did it. Larry had 130-0, I won 129-0 Nobody seemed to beat that. Without a nsm I have a hard time believing someone scored 158-0 even with changing playbooks

Irving Fryar dropped the game winning td in the endzone to end the game In wk17 I lost to the Bengals 34-2. I threw 5ints all to Fulcher and I fumbled 4 times Playoffs: 1st round bye 2nd round: Pats vs Dolphins Final Score: Dolphins 30 Patriots 28 Grogan 35% passing 252yds 4tds Irving Fryar 4recs 156yds 1td Dan Marino 100% 353 yards 3tds Mark Duper 2rec 163yds 2tds Dan Marino completed every pass he threw with many CC's and JJ's. Including a 88 yard standing CC to win the game with no time remaining. Oh well, crappy way to lose, but it was a fun time. It looks like I'm the only one to not make the Superbowl?
  3. DB4 and LB2 are the most effective ways to stop this play. I personally use DB4. I grapple the wr and then go and grapple the runner. If you approach the runner too quick you get another blocker on you. If done right you can hold your opponent to 5 yards everytime. Diving might work once in awhile but I don't recommend it. It also doesn't matter who your DB4 is for the most part. You can stop this run consistantly with any db with 50ms or better. Unless ofcourse the rb you are trying to stop is bo jackson. 50-63ms should be plenty stopping this play.
  4. Tune into TecmoTalk on Sunday night and find out how to stop it
  5. I didn't realize the tourney was at the Chatterbox. I don't know what location you played at, either the Minneapolis or St. Paul one. But I used to be an electrician and I helped build the Chatterbox in St. Paul. So if you guys played there I guess you can thank me for providing your electrical needs Small world sometimes.
  6. I've gone unbeaten with the Colts on the original rom. Jeff George led the league in passing and we beat the 49ers in the Superbowl by a fg if I remember correctly
  7. You realize you can change the playbooks right??
  8. I had a freak game with bruddog when pool 4 first started. I had a tipped int against him. Haven't seen it happen since
  9. offset I playbook works for someone who uses lb2 or lb3 all the time. Doesn't work if they have a good lb4 and know how to use him. The pro t playbook isn't too bad, but easy to blow up with a good lb2. Like Grip said, it depends on your opponents players and what position he likes to control
