QB is used so much Grogan probably takes it, but he can be subbed so maybe he's not the worst.
 
RB's when Thermal goes down, you could make a case how bad his BU's are.  And Leroy Hoard his fitting  famous quote does hit the field as well when Metcalf and Mack play some time as Wr/TEs in match ups.
 
WR/TE's are a dime a dozen but TE John Talley and his stats I think were assigned as "worst drone player"  if you didn't have enough money to fill your team  in the fabled ETC auction draft league
 
TB OL could perhaps take induction if you counted OL as one position.
 
LB Eugene Marve plays above his stats a la Johnny Johnson and has an award was named after him in the Noob Football League for a bad drone player who always seems to get sacks, and fumble recoveries.
 
But I think there is a good case for Andre Waters as worst Tecmo player ever.  He can't be subbed and is a complete liability on the field like Ryan Gosling in Remember the Titians
 

 
 
 
 

So that's 9. I'm open to ideas of what we could do. We could just do a 8 game season of Round Robin that should take 9 weeks to complete? And then top 2 in each conference get in to Conference Championship game with winners meeting in the Super Bowl. One of the conferences is going to have 5 players and the other 4 (if we are stuck on 9). 
 
One option could be to add Chalky to our #Lewis Conference  in the Mt Rainier division and then add James Brooks to Mt. Hood and add PTitteri to the Mt. St. Helens division. 
 
Open to suggestions. Will tidy it up next week as this weekend is a shitstorm of busy-ness. 

By my count, that makes 9. We'll have to figure out best way to make 9 work. Maybe we'll get a 10th. We'll see what the weather entails. we might need to incorporate a heater or two in the garage. This late summer feels ain't gonna last through November

Johnny Johnson WON'T be fumbling this time around.......He's out to prove the haters like 'Hank the Taint' all wrong, and solidify his spot as the #1 most dymamic, uncontainable, offensive weapon this game has ever seen.  ...and you can bet on that.

1. MIA - So Kevin bowed out, so a replacement owner will have the option of taking his squad. His squad??? Yah he went Bo on us. Bo and Marcus, with Kenny O'Brien to the PHX WRs just to keep opposing Defenses honest. And the SF OL should hold up well 
 
2. KC - Manyo goes from Bo to Barry with Elway adding to the ground game in his own dynamic way. The HOU OL will not be victimized. Also... Mel Gray. That is all. This is a Manyo special, very similar to the squad he won HSTL with. 
 
3. DEN - PTitteri knocked it out of the park with his first ever CFT draft pick. CHI RBs are no joke. Neal Anderson the supreme double threat. Johnny Bailey is a problem. Brad Muster can do work with and without the ball. ATL OL leading the way with Chris Hinton and Jamie Dukes. 
 
4. DAL - Kamp selected the SF RBs just like in CFT 1, trying to recreate the MaJJik, sans Dandy Don. The RAMS OL will open up plenty of space for Roger Craig, and with conditions, Dexter Carter, Harry Sydney and Tom Rathman will all get some runs. 
 
5. PHX - TBK and Johnny, together again. With the WAS OL Hogs again. Let's hope Johnny fixed his butterfingers syndrome from CFT 2.

How available are you for Labor Day weekend? We've got at least 6 guys (a couple of others are maybes depending on if it's Sat or SUn) that would be IN already if we run this back for Labor Day weekend. This is the Tailback King Signal. Calling all TBK!

I still plan on sharing my thoughts around this... It's just been super busy since. Sunday after the season 2 was all clean up and rest before the fam got home (and cut up vids for YouTube). Started teaching summer school on Monday, last weekend was in Salem all weekend, and now back to the Summer School grind and getting that kitchen sink/faucet fixed tomorrow. @invader_star64 should be here tomorrow and I should get the rest of the footage that we captured and start cutting that up too. Twas a blast and I'm thinking about more ways to improve and how and when we should do the next season. CFT!

I miss this Tourney already............too bad it's already over.  Seems like it just came and went.  We DEFINITELY need to do this again soon!  

Because the 1990 49ers were a great team.
They had come off winning two consecutive Super Bowls and compiled a 14-2 regular season record well on their way to the first 3peat in NFL history. The loss to the Giants in the NFC championship game is considered an upset and it involved knocking Montana out late and Roger Craig fumbling with 2:38 left to give the Giants the chance to kick the game winning FG.
They are the best team in the game but to say they're practically unbeatable is a bit of an overstatement.

Thank you to everyone that worked hard to make this happen: Kamp, you are just simply awesome man; Grip ran the grill like a boss; Vader was dealing with Windows XP on four machines; TBKing made sure the garage door stayed open so I didn't get a contact high; and Manyo wussed out on CIN/DET II. This was by far my favorite of the five tournaments I've attended. Rifle and I are already looking forward to next time! My favorite part was Manyo smugly asking me if I'd trade the trophy for an HSTL title, to which I got to reply, "Well I'd consider it, but I already have one of those." giGGles.

We came, We Saw, We Tecmo'ed.
 
All I can say is, what an incredible weekend.
 
Congrats to @fairfensheeding on winning the first ever Live Season topped off with a Tecmo Playoff Bracket where we finished an 8 week season of 13 present out of  15 owners in one day... barely. The Super Bowl champ was decided at around 3:30 AM local time. The game of the day (of the Tecmoverse?) was the #Lewis Conference Championship between me and @DT..
 
 
 
 Fairf took on the winner and it was tight but he took home the Title.

Much much thanks go to the whole CFT Crew for coming to participate and hanging in there through what turned out to be a really long (longer than expected) day and season.
 
While the techology presented some problems and delays here and there, it still would not have gone anywhere near as smoothly as it did without the help of the Save team, Grip, DT, and Invader at the least.
 
Special props to @gripsmoke for taking care of so much of the dealing with food, bringing the most epic Sig/Poster ever, and delivering TBK to the "venue". really Grip was invaluable here.
 
Special props also to @manYo720 for bringing the sweet Nectar of the Gods and providing the music and more support overall with anything that was needed (he knows) and THAT SHIRT!!!
Special props also to DT, not only helping with the Saves but also taking control of the Substitutions for absent owners. Definitely helped keep thangs moving.
 
Also without the hacks by @bruddog and all the necessary jar files, none of this would even be remotely possible, really can't ever thank Brudd enough for this, and @brookstonfowler phile support to help make our experience that top notch one you get from all the WTF format seasons in terms of stats and such, but also huge impact with the stream integration.
 
And then finally my hero in help, @invader_star64 brought SOOO much to the table in terms of time before in set up and working his ass off on game day too to get captures from each game. We also both had kind of heartbreaking ends to a #1 seed in conference type of season. Just didn't work out. Would have loved to have us battle it out for the Trophy and Super Bowl Title, but alas the Tecmo Gods deemed it not to be.
