i was actually gonna come to this was just trying to finalize a flight and car parking arrangement with dps and of course a place to sleep on fri and sat night

but found out deadline to enter has past and adding more people forces kamp in a bad spot since setting the rom up, save files and schedule is tedious. not to mention the odd number of entries it would create.

my main issue with this is i had no idea about when this tournament was until bru messaged me about it today cause he wanted me to see dps team

advice in the future is to create a channel on main discord server if you want outside entries to come

but if its just some small private gathering amongst friends and vip invites then i perfectly understand

finding out trying to join 2 weeks away from it is to close to the tournament is very disheartening though not gonna lie 😞

I've seen how Johnny Johnson has been doing in the CFT and while his yards are impressive in total it seems teams have keyed in on him.  Averaging the least of any 50+ carry rushers in the league in seasons 4 and 6 with only 2 rushing TD's in each season.  He did have a nice season 5 and maybe that's why the Cardinals managed to get a win that season.  However got to say 1-27 over the last 3 seasons is kind of what I would have expected from a team lead by Johnny Johnson.

Well pay attention this year, because now I have one of the best, if not THE best offensive line blocking for him 🚘🚖🚍🚔🚍

Well Tailback King is right for once.  Live tournaments are where it's at.  I'd suggest getting your ass on the Discord.  Also Kamp should get a tab on the live events on Discord for CFT.  Here are the upcoming tournaments I'm sure Tailback King will only go to CFT but there is a very good chance I'll be at all that aren't CFT maybe not Cleveland.  If the PNW ever throws another civilized tournament where you play with the OG Rom let me know i've always wanted to go out there to play Tecmo with you guys.

    CFT June 24th Seattle. WA

Midwest Tecmo July 29th Fairfield, OH
Millard's Mayhem August 5th Savage, MN

Cleveland Gaming Classic September 22-24 Cleveland, OH (Some kind of Tecmo Tournament will be held at some point)

CT Tecmo December 2nd Southington, CT

Any time you wanna come out here and get used as Johnny Johnson's practice dummy, I'll be happy to oblige ya 😁

OK Friends. It is that time again. Time for some CFT live season Capsule Previews. I try to incorporate as much of the actual language from the original TSB manual's Team Capsule Previews as I can, and this season I'm including more owner info and commish comments for each team. Without further ado...

    1.       BEARS1 -  Chicago Bears: Owner : Stu aka boogiewithstu – Opposing defenses should be aware of quarterback Timm Rosenbach’s mobility. He throws just as well on the run as he does from the pocket. With the emergence of running back Sammie Smith and fullback Tony Paige, the Bears have a more balanced offensive attack. Receivers Vance Johnson, Mark Jackson, and Ricky Nattiel may lack size, but they make clutch receptions. Double-teaming Reggie White and Mike Golic only will free up defensive end Clyde Simmons and give him a clear path to the quarterback. Charles Haley is a fearsome pass rusher who will line up at defensive end or linebacker. The tenacious hitting of free safety Ronnie Lott inspires the Bears’ entire defense.

    1 CHI O.PNG1 CHI D.PNG

kamp's comments: After a year on the dark side with Jerry Rice catching KriegBows, Stu is going back to his roots with a STRONG D. One of the best D's a CFT season has ever seen! Waymer, Lott and Haley with the Minister of Defense on the front line will wreak havoc on CFT offenses this season. A value pick with the MIA RBs will allow him to probably roll with a serviceable 44MS RB most of the season and Timm Rosenbach will guide this offense down with a solid set of targets in the DEN WRs, all the while the stout CHI O line will keep Timm and the MIA RBs clean. Stu has knocked on the door of a CFT championship and with a STOUT D at his disposal, he will be looking to crash that door in for his 1st CFT title.

    1 CHI Stu.PNG

    2.       BRONCOS1 – Denver Broncos: Owner: PeteT aka ptitteri – Quarterback Jim Everett leads a potent offense that can score from anywhere on the football field. No other CFT running back possesses the speed, balance, and acceleration of the Broncos’ Barry Sanders. Both Wendell Davis and Ron Morris have the speed to get open deep, and the toughness to make a catch over the middle. Linebackers Derrick Thomas and Percy Snow wreak havoc on opposing ball carriers and quarterbacks. Strong safety Mark Murphy plays smart and makes things happen.

    2 DEN O.PNG2 DEN D.PNG

kamp's comments: Pete has had a wild ride in the last 2 CFT Super Bowls. From a last second Vinny to Mel Gray JJ FTW from past midfield to a heartbreaking sequence of events leading to the one and only (and prob the 1st CFT HOFer) Jessie Tuggle scooping and scoring a go ahead TD with barely any time left, Pete has felt the full spectrum of the Tecmo Gods' desires. Once again going heavy on RB and minimal on WR, Pete added a DIFFERENCE MAKER in the KC LBs to the mix and has Chris... er, Jim Everett leading the way. When it's all said and done however, I predict the aptly named Chuck Long will have a say in the DEN CFT 6 season.

    2 DEN Pete.PNG

    3.       PACKERS1 – Green Bay Packers: Owner: Shermy80 – Quarterback Dave Krieg is a high percentage passer who does a fine job of finding receivers Andre Reed and James Lofton. The more the Packers utilize Herschel Walker as a runner and receiver, the more success they’ll have moving the football. Defensive ends Chris Doleman and Al Noga are quick off the ball. The Packers’ 4-3 defense is well suited for the pass rushing skills of defensive tackle Ray Childress. Linebackers Al Smith and Johnny Meads excel at stuffing the run, while free safety Scott Case gives excellent support against the run. Cornerback Deion (Prime Time) Sanders is one of the fastest players in the league.

    3 GB O.PNG3 GB D.PNG

kamp's comments: Shermy is competing in his first CFT season and in this humble tecmoer's opinion, has set himself up for a fun ride in CFT 6 with playmakers at ever position. Starting off with PRIME TIME, Sherm bolstered the D with Childress holding down the dive plays and Doleman doling out some QB pain. On offense, a lethal combination of Mudbone to "Feed the" Reed will be supported with a Herschel Walker ground attack. In Sherm's own words, Walker in good is basically Okoye, and I am ready to see how it all plays out. GL Sherm and WELCOME!

    4.       SEAHAWKS1 – Seattle Seahawks: Owner: invaderstar64 – Versatile running back Keith Byars is an excellent receiver out of the backfield. Ricky Proehl and Roy Green are a pair of sure-handed receivers with deceptive speed. Defensive End Bruce Smith is a dominating presence who directly affects opposing offensive game plans. Linebackers Rufus Porter and Dave Wyman make good reads and always find the ball.

    4 SEA O.PNG4 SEA D.PNG

kamp's comments: The artist formerly known as NESINVANTAGE is back for another CFT Rodeo. Invader has had some wild rides in CFT. Unfortunately, as is often the case, these wild rides end in PAIN. Exhibit A, a torrid affair with Bruddog in CFT 4 with one errant pass tilting the scales in the Rams favor. Exhibit B: A heartbreaking loss to Joey B in the play in game in CFT 5. Looking at the rivalries, what HAS been known is Invader's fantastic rivalry with Stu and his Bears. All tied up at 3-3. And percolating as a developing rivalry is his rivalry with Joey B. All these dudes are in the Clark Conference and vying for that spot in the CFT Super Bowl. Invader goes from one unicorn in CFT 5 in Okoye, to the most Unicorniest of them all... The original Randall the Scandal, the one and only QB Eagles. MY GAWD that looks like fun. Supporting QB Eagles is Keith Byars and, bless us all, the PHX WR/TEs. So yes, we can all look forward to multiple TBK UTTERANCES "MUTHAPHUKKA JONES!" On D, Invader has put together about as decent a squad as you can with QB Eagles taking most of the cash. BRUUUUCE is back and is still the purveyor of BAD THINGS MAN.  The SEA LBs are a fun hometown vibe featuring DA RUF Rufus Porter and the Tezmanian Monsta ( he ain't no devil ) Cortez Kennedy. The NO DBs will try to hold it down as best they can against some of the more elite Passing combos in the league. If Vader manages to get a firm grasp of the QB Eagles reins, WATCH OUT CFT!

    Mt. Hood Division

    1.       EAGLES1 – Philadelphia Eagles: Owner: DanGG aka HangingChadwick – Quarterback Steve DeBerg is one of the toughest competitors in the league and has an impressive arsenal of weapons in running backs James Brooks and Ickey Woods. The confident passer does an excellent job of locating receivers Sterling Sharpe and Perry Kemp downfield. Tight end Ed West is a valuable possession receiver. Defensive ends Ray Agnew and Garin Veris are the bookends of a solid defense that includes linebackers Eugene Lockhart and defensive tackle Jimmie Jones. Linebackers Jack Del Rio and Ken Norton are big hitters who make plays. Cornerbacks Albert #Lewis and Kevin Ross and safeties Kevin Porter and Deron Cherry make up one of the best secondaries in the league.

    5 PHI O.PNG5 PHI D.PNG

kamp's comments:  DanGG the artist formerly Hanging as Chadwick, has made some noise in his first two CFT seasons. After a tough draw in his first CFT game ever against Pete, Dan rattled off 3 impressive wins in a row over the likes of ShakeDitty, Invader and a shutout of The quiet one Rudy The Tailback King. The rest of CFT 4 was pain, but Dan came back and was the 4 seed in the Clark Conference of CFT5, only to lose a heartbreaker to gripsmoke. This time around, he is enlisting the help of Pete's son James Brooks and CFT ICON Ickey Woods to help the CFT Eagles cross that bridge and get their first playoff win. Also helping the cause are Steve De Berg, and NOT the Philly WR/TEs, but rather STERLING SHARPE. Beware the PHI Special Teams unit as well as they will bring some punch on their KRs with Tunch.

    5 PHI DanGG.PNG

    2.       STEELERS1 – Pittsburgh Steelers: Owner: JoeyB aka JoeyHoneyBee – The Steelers believe in the magic of quarterback Don Majkowski. The confident passer does an excellent job locating two of the most dangerous receivers in the league in Anthony Carter and Hassan Jones downfield. Fullback Darrell Thompson is a tough inside runner.   Linebackers Jessie Tuggle, Michael Reid, and Darion Connor lead Pittsburgh’s “Steel Curtain” defense. Unsung cornerback Terry McDaniel will make quarterbacks regret trying to throw at him.

    6 PIT O.PNG6 PIT D.PNG

kamp's comments: JoeyB moved his franchise to align with his Tecmo After Dark interests and open up the Giants for the JJT yall. Now in Pittsburgh, Joey infused a real GB Packer flair to his CFT 6 squad, employing the likes of the MaJJk Man, Woodside and Lurch Nelson. Also in the mix is an AC unit that comes with friends Hassan and Steve. I gotta say, when I had MaJJk and the MIN WRs, it was a fun time and we turnt up the AC a few times. I can only imagine how much coolness is going to emanate from the first Steelers squad in CFT history. Joey has had one road block in CFT, and it is one we are all familiar with, especially in TAD surroundings, STU. Sporting a career 1-7 record vs Stu, it seems every year these two CFT Stalwarts are destined to match up in the playoff bracket. This year, Joe has got the O to contend with Stu's stingy D, and with Lurch getting some speedy help in the backend by Eddie Anderson and the RAI DBs, I look for Joe to really break through this season, ultimately because I believe... Believe in what you say? Well, let me just tell you... THE TUGGLE IS REAL!

    6 PIT JoeyB.PNG

    3.       49ERS1   – San Francisco 49ers: Owner:  gripsmoke – Whenever Phil Simms is looking to pass, he can go to tight end Jim Jensen in the flat, or throw deep to top receivers Mark Duper and Mark Clayton. Greg Townsend, Howie Long, Bob Golic, and Cornelius Bennett compose one of the most formidable defensive lines in CFT.

    7 SF O.PNG7 SF D.PNG

kamp's comments: gripsmoke is entering his 4th CFT season and also has had his fair share of roadblocks he is looking to break thru. Namely, the Oilers and the Broncos. The 49ers have a not so secret weapon this year in their Special Teams unit. #HIDDENSTATS Pulling all of the hidden stats he can muster by employing Johnny Johnson as his KICKER and BILL GROMAN (not Koman) as his Punter, this maGGical choice of K/P looks to do some major damage in CFT. Now, this CFT 6 49ers squad will NOT lack for offense. Jeff Hostetler, Chris Simms' dad, the Lo White offensive, the MIA WR/TE crew and KC OL have what it takes. ON D the most formidable DL the RAIDAHS along with the BUF LBs will make things a real chore for any offensive front in CFT, BUT... How can the Niners afford all this?... It came at a cost. The secondary... Let's just say it's not good, rather it's Goode, and Prior, and Taylor and Daniel. It's gonna be a wild ride in San Francisco this season. #HEREFORIT

    4.       WW1 – Washington Wrestlers: Owner: DPS aka TecmoDPS – Jim Harbaugh is one of the most accurate passers in the NFL. The running and receiving skills of running back Neal Anderson keep the defense off balance. At 6-5, 274 pounds tight end Eric Green is the largest deep threat in the league. Defensively, Freddie Joe Nunn excels as a pass rusher, while linebacker Mike Singletary is the heart of the Football Team’s defense.

    8 WAS O.PNG8 WAS D.PNG

kamp's comments: Well, well, well, looks what the southside wind dropped in on CFT. If it isn't the man, the myth, the legend TECMODPS, trying to conquer the far western Tecmo shores in CFT 6. DPS drafted a team he will have fun with, and THAT IS THE POINT OF ALL THIS! The CHI RBs paired with the CHI QBs  and CHI LBs I freaking LOVE IT!. Now Haddix in his hands with a Singletary at his disposal up front. Maybe even a little Freddie Joe sprinkled in? Nope! I don't want Nunn of that! Seriously though, it's so great to have our first non West Coaster to join us for CFT, breaking new pathways for hopefully more friendos to fly OVER the Cascades and join us for our unique brand of Tecmo Chicanery and Brotherhood. Cue Bart Scott GIF!

    1.       COWBOYS1 – Dallas Cowboys: Owner: kamp aka kamphuna8 aka Yokahuna – Quarterback Mark Rypien has done an outstanding job mastering coach Jimmy Johnson’s intricate offense. Whenever Rypien gets into trouble, he can count on his wide receivers to come up with a clutch reception. Michael Irvin is the deep threat, while Kelvin Martin is the possession receiver. Tight end Jay Novacek is one of the best pass-catching tight ends in the league. Few teams run the football like the Cowboys. Running backs Dalton Hilliard and Rueben Mayes and burly fullback Craig “Ironhead” Heyward are hard-nosed ball carriers (that) keep the first down markers moving. The Cowboys have arguably the best linebackers in the league in Lawrence Taylor, Carl Banks, Pepper Johnson, and Gary Reasons. Versatile Jerry Gray is the prototype CFT defensive back.

    9 DAL O.PNG9 DAL D.PNG

kamp's comments: Tuff scenez for CFT organizer kamphuna8 in CFT 5. kamp is the ultimate wild card as CFT 4 and 5 demonstrate. A 3-6 regular season in CFT 4 led to an improbable run to the CFT Super Bowl, with a 4 point lead and just seconds left while the opponent was still at midfield... This resulted in PAIN. The CFT Cowboys got things turned around with some fortune in CFT 5, avoiding some losses by the narrowest of margins to the likes of the Eagles (missed wide open Rison bomb on 4th), Chargers ( BS lucky play to win by 1 ), and the Falcons (some shit happened, that's for sure). All this set the stage for... Unfortunately moar pain... The first loss to Rudy and his Cardinals in Phoenix's only playoff win ever in CFT, as well as winning the jackpot on getting to hear about said loss at volume 11 in the closest proximity and what ultimately was the first season that the CFT Cowboys did not make it to the CFT Super Bowl. That's right, MOAR PAIN. What do this season's Cowboy hopes portend? Well, kamp brought back some old friends, a lot of repeat tandems from CFT 4 in LT and GIA LBs, Ironhead and Dalton and the rest of the Saints RB crew, and added some currying of the Tecmo Gods' favors in drafting kamp's favorite player of all time... THE PL88MAKER! This season, the O has a real RYPPER in Mark and a stout Cincy OL, as well as a TAD better support for LT and crew in the SF Dline and the Rams secondary. The competition is as fierce as ever in CFT however, but the Cowboys are always ready for CFT Battlez. Time will tell... it always does.

    9 DAL kamp.PNG

    2.       CHIEFS1 – Kansas City Chiefs: Owner: manYo aka luigi azul aka manYo720 – With quarterback Warren Moon at the trigger, the Chiefs’ Run-and-Shoot offense will gun down any defense in the CFT. Whenever Warren Moon is looking to pass, he can go to tight end Mark Bavaro in the flat, or throw deep to receivers Mark Ingram and Stephen (Touchdown Maker) Baker. Versatile Merril Hoge, who plays both running back positions, is a dangerous receiver out of the backfield. Linebacker Karl Mecklenburg is difficult to defend regardless of where he lines up. Strong safety Nesby Glasgow is a smart hustling player who wants in on every play.

    10 KC O.PNG10 KC D.PNG

kamp's comments: CFT 5 for the Cheefz was a rough one for manYo and company. A little bit too much overrefreshment on CFT5 Eve led to a day of sickness that sounded absolutely dreadful. Look for a different version of manYo this season, as The CFT Battler has employed the likes of one (also #1) Warren Moon to lead the KC charge in CFT 6. Moon has some stellar targets in Mark Ingram and Stephen "The TD Maker" Baker and Mark Bavaro while the PIT RB crew will man CFT Roadz. On defense, the expense of Moon takes its toll as it's pretty much the DEN LBs and SEA DBs. I predict a tough road to hoe for manYo, but I believe in the Moon Mystique in his hands, and hope to see some nice snacks on his cupcake schedule... just hope those cherries in Week 10 are sour...

    10 KC manYo.PNG

    3.       JETS1 – New York Jets: Owner: Yung_Tel aka Yung_Glitchy aka YungSample – Quarterback Jeff George has proved to be worth the major trade the team made in order to draft him. Running back Thurman Thomas is a dangerous open-field runner and an excellent receiver out of the backfield. Wide receiver Eric Martin is the deep threat and the possession receiver. The Jets’ 4-3 defense is well suited for the pass-rushing skills of defensive end Jeff Cross. Linebackers Dennis Byrd and Kyle Clifton excel at stuffing the run, while strong safety Bubba McDowell leads the Jets’ “Air Patrol” secondary.

    11 JETS O.PNG11 JETS D.PNG

kamp's comments: The Mt. Baker Division often has a Cali entrant joining, and this season is no different. In the footsteps of Bruddog, and gamehigh, we got YungTel stepping into the CFT Fray. YungTel had a draft plan and he was sticking to it. The good parts? Well, that defense with Dick Dick and the JETS LBs is no joke, even got a Jeff to Cross the line and make some back field disruption. On offense, the plan was simple. THURMAL. The rest was gravy... Unfortunately that plan includes the likes of Jeff George and Jack Fucking Trudeau leading the way at QB and a not very deep WR corps from New Orleans that features Eric Martin and not much else. Tel has made some waves in TAD and is looking to bring his brand of Tecmo to the PNW, flying his JETS on a JET plane. What will we provide him as hospitality. Tecmo and Rain. Cue Fairfield's next Tecmo parody, Well I've seen Tecmo and I've seen Rain... (yah it looks like we'll have rain this year)

    4.       CARDINALS1 – Phoenix Cardinals: Owner: ~Tailback King~ aka TBK aka Mr. Rida aka Tha One Who Saved Tha Game – The Cardinals’ RHINOCEROS PACKAGE can punch holes through any defense in the CFT league. The running of Johnny Johnson and Anthony Thompson, who make up one of the finest young backfields in the league, complements the long-ball passing of quarterback Chris Miller. Sticky-fingered receivers Bill Brooks and Jessie Hester are Miller’s favorite targets. Wide Receiver Clarence Verdin is a dangerous kick returner. Defensive end Richard Dent continues to be one of the league’s premier pass rushers. Nose tackle William (The Refrigerator) Perry does a good job of tying up blockers and allowing linebackers Chris Spielman, Michael Cofer, and Dennis Gibson to make tackles. Strong safety Jarvis Williams hits like a linebacker and covers receivers like a cornerback.

    12 PHX O.PNG12 PHX D.PNG

    0 2 Rainier.PNG

    1.       FALCONS1 – Atlanta Falcons: Owner: DT aka dtfrombtown aka You’re Killing Me Whitey aka “Not sure how I got it confused” – The Falcons “Red Gun” Offense can shoot holes through any defense in the CFT. Quarterback Boomer Esiason has an impressive arsenal of weapons in running backs Mike Rozier and Steve Broussard and receivers Bruce Hill and Mark Carrier. Burt Grossman, Les Miller and Lee Williams do a fine job of pressuring the quarterback. Linebackers John Offerdahl, Hugh Green, and David Griggs lead Atlanta’s “Grits Blitz” defense. Cornerback Darrell (The Ageless Wonder) Green is one of the fastest players in the league.

    13 ATL O.PNG13 ATL D.PNG

kamp's comments: DT's CFT experience has also been one of Pain, and a lot of it at my expense. DT has a rule, and I appreciate that he has and follows this rule, and basically it's to keep things fresh. Don't run back the same guys every season, etc etc. Well, this season's crop I believe is his best drafted squad yet. The ATL RBs are enough for what he needs done, barring a Rozier injury, and he's got Boomer and the Kaiser dishing out darts to the Tampa Bay WR/TE crew featuring the other Mark Carrier and Uncle Ron Hall. DT's got a story for you about Ron Hall and the People's Champ, but I'll let him tell ya. Why am I so high on the Falcons? That O he can deal damage with, and that D! The SD DL is sneakily underrated and a terrific value for what he paid, he has Offerdahl also and then there's the problem of Mayhew and Darrell Green. Watch out CFT. This might be the season of DT!

    13 ATL DT.PNG

    2.       BROWNS1 – Cleveland Browns: Owner: disastamasta142 aka disasta aka jukemasta – John Elway’s cannon arm and nimble feet make him very difficult to defend. Elway and running back Emmitt Smith are cornerstones of an explosive young offense. Speedy receiver Anthony Miller consistently beats double coverage. Nose tackle Jerry Ball does a good job of tying up blockers and allowing linebackers Clay Matthews and Mike Johnson to make tackles. Linebackers Tony Blaylock and David Grayson are good at stopping both the run and the pass. Strong safety Tim McDonald hits like a linebacker and covers receivers like a cornerback.

    14 CLE O.PNG14 CLE D.PNG

kamp's comments: We have our first entrant from Arizona as the CFT welcomes disastamasta142, a guy with the Wright stuff to contend in CFT. disasta is a problem for all CFT contenders, this is known. He brings John Elway, Emmitt Smith, Anthony Miller AND the Chargers answer to Walter Reeves in Derrick Walker to the offensive side of the ball. On D he snatched up LONNIE YOUNG and Timmy Mac before Rudy had a chance to take them in his customary 2nd pick. And with the CLE LBs with Mike Johnson and the other LBs decent INT values, and Jerry Ball up front, the CFT Browns are looking to make its mark on the league in their first season. Which way will John Elway go? To me that is the ultimate question. As long as his passes don't go sideways from their targets, watch out for the CFT Browns.

    3.       GIANTS1 – New York Giants: Owner: JJT aka JJTyall aka JJTittle – QB Browns is arguably the finest quarterback ever to play for the Browns, and when he’s not passing to receivers Webster Slaughter and Reggie Langhorne, who are aggressive receivers that will go into the interior of the defense to make a reception, he’s handing off to running backs Roger Craig and Tom Rathman. Defensive ends Danny Stubbs and Tony Tolbert and defensive tackle Danny Noonan are excellent pass rushers who do a solid job of caving in the pocket. Linebackers Jeff Herrod, Duane Bickett, and Chip Banks are the nucleus of an up-and-coming defensive unit that loves to blitz the quarterback.

    15 GIA O.PNG14 GIA D.PNG

kamp's comments: JJT is the 2nd of 3 newcomers to join the Mt. Rainier division listed here and he was able to right the ship after a shaky draft start with consideration to the salary cap. This season's Giants are no longer manned by Joey B, who agreed to switch franchises with JJT to match their TAD organizations. There is considerable strength where it matters on both sides of the ball this year. QB Browns is leading the charge on offense and they have a very versatile set of RBs drafted from the SF roster. On D, the CBs Gill Byrd and Sam Seale look to fortify the defensive side of the ball with not much help aside from at least not having putridly low HP on the front 7. Great to have JJT join for his first CFT as well. Will the Giants franchise have more success in the #Lewis conference than the Clark conference? Tune in June 18th!

    4.       BUCCANEERS1 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Owner: JBrooks aka The Kid – The Buccaneers are a youthful team full of potential. Quarterback Vinny Testaverde times his throws well and has good anticipation of his receivers. Stephone Paige is a reliable possession receiver, while Robb Thomas is an elusive deep threat. Gerald Riggs and Earnest Byner are a pair of thick-thighed runners who’ll trample over any defender in their path. Defensive Linemen Tony woods, Jacob Green and Joe Nash are excellent against the run and pass. Linebacker Kevin Greene is one of the best pass rushers in the league. Defensive backs Erik McMillan and Tony Stargell make quarterbacks pay for throwing the football.

    16 TB O.PNG16 TB D.PNG

kamp's comments: Welp, last but certainly not least, we probably have the biggest "STAR" of our crew finally joining us for a live season, and I for one am excited for him to experience a LIVE TECMO SEASON, as I assume he has not yet (Hopefully I'm wrong Pete, and I will GLADLY BE WRONG THERE!) Either way, THE KID is finally bringing his brand of Tecmo to a CFT, and I am excited to see him pick ALL of his dad's and uncle's plays. At JBrooks' disposal is the Buccaneers OG ROM QB Vinny GreenBalls, err Testaverde, and Vinny's got a TARGET. Stephone Paige will be looking to better his performance from CFT 1 in the hands of DT when he was "Talley"ing Stephone's scores on Stephone's TD Paige. James will also have the Washington RBs to move the chains on the ground when necessary. On D, Erik McMillan will be called upon in Air Defense while Kevin Greene will be looking to lock down the ground forces with a little help from Jacob Green. Rounding out our CFT 6 Mt. Rainier Division, James will join his uncle and disasta in the Mt. Rainier Division with Rainier vet DT.

Anyone know of a cheap way to get from the Wisconsin area to the PNW that dosen't require me to pay a crapton of money or drive a crazy long way or hitchhike?  I've checked from the Milwaukee, Chicago, and Minneapolis airports nothing even close to the $200 area i was hoping to get.  It's on my Tecmo bucket list to go to a tecmo tournament in the PNW so i can whip @~Tailback King~ ass at Tecmo and hang out with you guys which could be the funnest community in Tecmo.

Well if "so I can whip Tailback King's a$$ at Tecmo" means gettin' stomped, stuffed, and smashed by Johnny Johnson for 15 ta 20 minutes while your Tecmo soul slowly bleeds and oozes outta your thumb and the pours of your skin in the most painful and humiliating way possible,................then yes, it would be fun to hang out with you too...but then it'll be kinda hard to hitchhike with two broken thumbs, a bruised ego, and a sore a$$ from Johnny Johnson kickin' the $#!t out of it.

Weak.  I quit watching after Gurley didn't get the ball once in the first series.  What's funny is that the Rams are gonna lose if that really happens, and that seems to be the trend.  McVay's tryin' to get to fucc!n' cute.  Stick to what got you there, which is getting the ball to Gurley 25 to 30 times by any means........they don't, they lose.  It's that simple.

*BUMP*   ..........WOW.  I must be a fu**!n' fortune teller.  McVay's a fuccin idiot.  I hope they trade Gurley to SEATTLE.  Then they can keep C.J. Anderson and see how good they do next year...the Rams wouldn't even make the playoffs. SMFH.

OK Here is Week 3's Game on the Stream. And like I described before, it's 2 games for the price of 1.

Other highlights I recall include getting another fumble vs @~Tailback King~ just after halftime, and then laughing at the fact that if Rudy (TBK) can tell your QB sucks, then you must know that your QB REALLY SUCKS, and we were talking about Dallas' QB1 Bubby Brister in the Sun.

Randy started out terribly vs Manyo, with the CHEEFZ scoring a couple of YUGE sacks forcing a punt on the OILERS1 first drive. Randy manages to score at the exact end of each half, and the run to tie it at the end of regulation has an amazing and game saving block by the fullback on Run 2 Pro T Dive. Honestly, I love that our mic caught the audio for both games well enough to hear the banter. Rudy is a national treasure in my book.

Here are the Box Scores from the rest of Week 3 along with the Players of the Week.

I'll do a deep dive into all the stats and standings at the halfway point after 5 games.

THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is some real TECMO O.G's doin they SHEEEYATEEE!!!  Best of the Northwest........  {CLASS!C}  I watched the whole thang, both games...pretty fuCC!n' entertaining.  @~Tailback King~ vs @kamphuna8     &     @manYo720 vs @fairfensheeding.......2 for the price of 1, split screen Pac NW rivalries...can't get much better than that.  Props to @kamphuna8 for pioneerin' this $#!t.  Mixing Fantasy Football with Tecmo Superbowl set the bar, and will be the new way Tecmo Tourney's are done.  Anything else just won't cut it anymore.
