Brad Edwards was a studd in the NFL........I seem to remeber his best years for Washington, but played for many teams and enjoyed a long and successful career...If I'm not mistaken, he has a Superbowl Ring.

Did you use Ronnie Lott on defense??? He can shut down offenses single handedly when he feels like it, but he doesn't get a lot of picks, which is frusterating to me.....also B~Dubb (Brian Washington) the other saftey, led the league in picks in 93'.....although he gets more when I don't use him for some reason.

I'm using Philadelphia in a season right now........Herschel has 1,800 yrds rushing in week 14!!! Every time they start keyin' in on Walker, I use him as a decoy and go deep. It's really a privilige to have such a great offense at your disposal. My record is 13~1.

No way...........I think he's one of the best. My ONLY complaint is his fumbling after LONG runs.....He's also a devistating kick returner.

So your saying goin' down one condition from BAD is INJURED??? Then how do you explain getting INJURED when your EXCELLENT???........cuzz it's happened to me many times.

What formula??? If you keep gettin your player hitt, or over use him, his condition drops in my experience.

Lonnie Young was a really good player.....a horrible knee injury ended his career. He had a comeback with the Jets, but he was never the Tecmo Superbowl Phoenix Cardinals ball hawking saftey he once was...

Another Tecmo Legend that defines the definition of the word HITTING POWER. Kevin Mack was the 'ORIGINAL' Tecmo bulldozer. Most Tecmobowl veterans & greats like me have all played that season game vs the Dolphins.........Talk about EXPLOITING a teams weakness. If your a beginer or a rookie, go ahead.....try a season with Cleveland. Then mark on your calender with a red 'X' the day you play Miami (I know you can't but it sounds good) and you might have the greatest & most entertaining season game memory of your life! (p.s. My bad.....................Tecmo Superbowl. I know people probably take that seriously round these parts.

There's only 'ONE REAL WAY' to run the option.......It has nothing to do with your plays...just one play. The second pass play to the left. You select the one where your 2 back's in are in Pro Set formation...and you simply hike the ball, and take off right or left (up or down) The second the tackler tries to grab or tackle you, you pitch it (actually pass it backwards or to the side) to one of the runningbacks...preferably the one that's closest to you & not covered...but you got about a half a second to decide which way you wanna go. Cunningham, Elway, and Steve Young are exceptionally good at it.

I once got over 2600 yards rushing in the Super Nintendo version with (you guessed it) Johnny Johnson. I had over 1800 yrds rushing with Eric Dickerson........he may not be the 'Colts Eric', but he can still get the job done...especially when he's in EXCELLENT...which he is for me a lot!!! The Falcons' Dickerson likes to warm up with a lot of carries, incase you didn't know.....but the reality is that he just likes to play for me more than you!!!....Ha hA Ha!!! Eric's a moody muthaphukka. Ha hA Ha.

Wow. One would think you bein' a Michigan fan and all, would have saved some room for Anthony Carter on your wide receivers list. He's as good if not better than anyone you named................even Shannon Sharpe. Ha hA Ha!!!

"DING, DING, DING"..........you win. That's exactly what happened. He's one of my favorite players. When I was like a sophmore in highschool, I was extatic to find out he he was gonna be a 49'er and actually be on a good team...a WINNING TEAM, then POOF.........he was gone. Too bad, because he could catch the ball out of the backfield, and woulda' been a perfect fit for that offense.....they actually won a Superbowl around that time. That gotta be Johnsons' regret.

All be the first one ta tell ya that Johnny Johnson was one of my ALL TIME favorite players growin' up.....all through my years of playin' football, even in college, he was a big insperation to me..............BUT..............some of the things he's done in Tecmobowl (at least for me) are not just playin' above his stats, but playin' above everybody's stats......You can ask the people who play up here in Portland.....no one player has got me more W's, won me more dough, or won me more tournaments among friends.....and don't get me wrong, I love the Cards, but there's not much to em' but a star runningback & a couple of stellar safties........Maybe I just subconsiously play harder & more focused when I'm the Cards cuzz there such underdoggs, but whatever it is, Johnny Johnson is the BEST (not just favorite, but player I'd put money on) player I'v ever used..........and if any of you guys wanna find out the hard way, consider this an invitation & an open challenge. When you get ripped for 250 yards & four touchdowns, don't say I didn't warn ya.

You wouldn't think it was so funny if you where down 21 ta zipp in the first quarter.

I do know that when your "running away", or being rushed by a defender, your way less accurate than if your feet are planted. (standing in pocket) My perfect example is Dan Marino...you don't even have to touch the directional buttons. The computer drops back for you, and the moment you stop backpeddelin', THROW IT!!! About a 99.9% chance your receiver (Clayton or Duper) will catch it.
