    It's difficult to even begin to describe how much fun I had at my first ever Tecmo Madison tournament. A huge thanks to all of those involved! Without a doubt, my absolute favorite thing about any live Tecmo tourney is that pretty much every single competitor is there to have fun and is a good sport no matter the outcome. This makes for a full day of nothing but smiles and pure fun. This picture pretty much sums it up - I was playing against JimSocks for the last spot in the field of 64 and the pic was snapped as I hit a FG off the post and in for a 3 point win in DOUBLE OVERTIME! Take a look at JimSock's face - BIG OL' SMILE!! It isn't possible for someone to be a better sport than Jim right there. That's live Tecmo at its best. Jim you and your crew were fantastic the entire time. Thanks for helping remind me just how much fun playing this game live can be!

    I was thinking we could send Mort to fetch any TV's that people want money for..... we can have Mort lick them in the ear-hole to force a better price. Or any other holes for that matter.

    I made my solemn offering of tacos to the Tecmo gods in a ceremony the night before. 3 hours of chanting..... "Oh great gods of tecmo, let the JJ's not land for the opposition but landeth for the Laztlain. Oh great gods of tecmo, let the fumbles be returndeth for scores only for those of the Laztlain. Hear me, and I will remain loyal!!" IT WORKED!

    Congrats Lou! There was nobody more deserving of that trophy than you. We have played a lot of games together, and I gotta say when we played our game in this tourney and you demolished me I knew you were the guy to beat. There was something different about the way you were playing; and by different I mean freakin awesome! I was very happy to take my 4th place trophy - a 400 lb tv I got to carry into mort and lou's basement. Another fantastic tourney by two of the best guys in tecmo!

    After Friday's showing at AJ's Lounge I think we should vote on something: Raise Raguse's bounty buy-in to 100 bucks!!!! Or lower Mort's to 50 cents!!

    Nice summary Lou. Without question luck was on my side yesterday. The most important thing about the tourney - it was an absolute blast! Well done by both you and your brother. Better than the Buffalo radio tourney!!

    Lou dont forget to mention my MANY favorable matchups on my road to the title game in your recap. And I mean MANY (Rams vs Cowboys twice, S.D. vs Washington... man the Tecmo gods were shining down on me!!!) I forgot to thank Mort for stacking those cards in my favor..... Oh and you have to mention who picked the actual card out of the deck in our matchup too.... lol!!

    Oh it happened.... trust me I was there! I had the honor of losing to this machine in the final four. I aslo was the VERY VERY lucky guy who barely squeezed by Lou and that was ONLY because he fumbled multiple times. Lou outplayed me on every down and his A button taping is like something from The Matrix. That was a great tourney and I had a blast. I was hoping to not have to face Francis until the championship so I could at least have taken home that sweet 2nd place trophy! Nice job Francis and Lou.     Hey guys, Im in the Tecmo tourney that 103.3 the edge is sponsering again this year. I was also in it last year but lost in the first round 13-10 as Denver vs Atlanta. Im currently the #2 seed in the tournament with a 95-17 score - and yes I got VERY lucky recovering 2 onside kicks and a fumble. Plus there was no pressure as I played at the Lockport Oogie Games bulding and there was a grand total of 4 people playing (not like at the bars). Anyway, I would be good for a few MAN games before the tourney if possible.... let me know if it's gonna happen. I definitely need the practice!! Also interested in hearing how you woul rank these teams in the tournament given the current rules: Redskins, Bucs, Falcons. Thanks!! Jason
