Whatever happened to our mission to get everyone hosting by the end of the year? There are still too many people who haven't taken the time to figure out how to host...

I did it in a WTF season with a 56/63 QB, and considering how juiced that rom was, I'm pretty proud of that.

    Pretty fun tourney for me.

Game 1 of group was vs Matt B, who I found out much later was oldey but goody Jeid. He won toss and called Bills/Oilers. I took Oilers. Lorenzo White fumbled TWICE for me (surprise surprise) and I lost both of them. But Dick Dick grabbed me an INT and I barely ran it back to win 21-14.

Game 2 of group was Deuceler (twitch.tv/deuceler) who I drove up with from Austin and conned into coming with me. He hadn't played the game until a week ago, but had still manage to decimate his opponent in Round 1 with the little bit of teaching I gave him. I won toss on this one, and I think I called DEN/WAS or DEN/MIN...I know I was Denver. Ended up being 30-0. I'm heartless

Matt B won losers bracket side and came back to face me in finals, and first matchup was his call with KC/MIA. I took MIA and got rekt 20-7, wasn't able to get anything going. Grand final for the group, I won the toss, and went with GB/NO. He took player 1, I grabbed NO, and the Saints D was stalwart enough to win me the group. I think the final of this one was 28-14 or 28-7.

Having lost one in winner finals, this put me at the bottom of the group winning seeds Ashman also lost one to Jeff Freeman but had a higher point differential than I did. So Ashman was 4th seed to my 5th, and we matched up. He called PHX/NO, I took the Cardinals. I converted some key 4th and shorts on my first drive, and Ashman had to punt one away, and the game was just always on my end. 31-10 the final here, there was a punt returner fumble-TD that sealed the deal to make it 24-7 somewhere in there.

#1 seed and tournament organizer Brett was up next. I won toss and called CIN/MIN, and Brett took CIN. Unfortunately his playbook choices kind of screwed him as he picked two run plays that I could blow up with Millard, and that inhibited offense let me make more aggressive defensive playcalls and really stop his offfense before it could get anything going. Herschel did work this game, and final was 33-0.

Final was against the Louisiana monster SuicideKing. I won toss, and after thinking about it for a good while (had to wait for 3rd place match to finish between Brett and Jeid), I called DAL/TB. SK took Dallas. Haddix landed me a JJ INT early, and I had momentum from that point. Aikman wasn't able to do much against Haddix and he came down with another JJ int in the 3rd (or 4th?) to really seal the deal. 24-14 the final there.

Like I said, fun tourney overall, though a bit of a disappointing turnout. There were a lot of solid players there though, so it was pretty competitive compared to prior tournaments that had a lot of walk-ups that haven't touched the game in 20 years. Playing Jeid in groups was nuts, I feel like he probably would've worked his way atop the other groups, still solid despite not having touched the game in a while. No bgboud this time, word on the street is that he ragequit for good.
