  1. So I was testing my ROM the other day and was playing against the Redskins and noticed that their CBs and safeties were practically teleporting around the field. Seriously, there was some crazy speed going on and I know I didn't fool with anything going on in this area. Of course, I checked the players' stats to double check and they suggested nothing out of the ordinary. I notice this only happens when I pick MAN vs. COM however, in COM vs. COM matches this doesn't happen. Is this just glitching or something more sinister at work?
  2. I'm not sure what rom you are starting from but here is what one I have looks like for the "XLV": OK, yeah, I actually saw something like that but the hex editor I'm using displays it differently, thanks. Edit: OK, thanks a bunch jstout, you helped me solve both my issues!
  3. On the Playoff Screen, the letters above the Super Bowl are split into the left screen and right screen. The left side: x1E759 and right side: x1E829 The ROSTERS 2010 is explained in: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=83#p84724 Alright, I managed to get the Roster 2010 screen changed, but when I look at the letters in the hex at the locations you gave for the playoff screen, I don't see anything that says "XLV".
  4. Well, you know I appreciate any assistance I can get. I'll muck around some more with the tiles and see what I can do.
  5. This topic interests me as well, I've been trying to make the Vikings and Ravens a little less obnoxious shade of purple, but the changes I make in TSBTool Supreme never transfer over to the game.
  6. I did do that, but the credits screen remains unchanged which leads me to believe it might be something to do with tiles in that case.
  7. I've been busy this summer updating a Tecmo ROM for the 2011-2012 season (fingers crossed), and I've run into a couple things that I want to change that I haven't been able to find, namely the roman numeral of the Super Bowl in the playoffs screen (from XLV to XLVI) and in the credits screen it still says "Rosters 2010" which I want to change to 2011. Are these things I would have to edit in a tile editor or hex editor? And what location could I find these things? I'd really love it if someone who's tweaked these things before could give me a hand. Thanks in advance!
  8. On a schedule-related note, is there any way I can order the games so that the MNF games (for example, MIA/NE and DEN/OAK) play last? I have them put into the editor in the order I want them, but when I get into the ROM it randomizes the order of the games.
  9. Wait, what you mean by this? I'm having the same trouble as well and want to know exactly what you did to fix it. Is there another set of data I need to delete somewhere? What is there another tool other than TSBSupreme that I'd need? you have to change it, through a hex editor. I searched for Gore, for Frank Gore. There are two separate areas for the nfc west. One is good and one is not. Copy and paste your good set, over the bad set. I can look up exact locations when I get home. [ Post made on a Tecmo Super Mobile Device!] Very interesting. I took a look into the hex data like you said, and sure enough, there's two sets of NFC West data. Which one is the good set and which is the bad set? And I'm assuming this will fix any future problems with trading NFC West players, correct?

  11. Naw, I haven't done anything but exchanged those two players. Also, the ROM I got off the link in these forums and haven't touched it until now, let alone with any hex editors.
  12. Here are a couple shots of what happened when I traded Hasselbeck to the 49ers. The first one's what happened in-game, the second in TSBTool Supreme. http://img28.imageshack.us/i/problemsm.jpg/ http://img163.imageshack.us/i/problems2.jpg/
  13. Yeah, everything looks just like you explained it in my TSBTool Supreme, but the problem persists. I did a little more exploring and found that the problem exists throughout the entire NFC West. Every other division handles trading fine. Also, the trade appears to go through fairly well. Like say, if I trade Hasselbeck for Cutler or something, Hasselbeck will appear just fine on the Bears' roster, but in the Seahawks' roster it will still say Hasselbeck is QB (albeit in the garbled, peculiar looking way I described earlier), but if you go into his stats you'll have Cutler's face and stats. So essentially the trade happens, it just messes up the names for any NFC West team that makes the trade. Just type the name and attributes over the existing. No dice, the gibberish remains.

  15. OK, I've found that I can trade players to and from every team but the Cardinals, in which case the trade is made, but all the names become gibberish. Any way to fix this?
