  1. If I do indeed need to start over, are there any pitfalls that you can advise me to stay away from? For example, how many characters constitutes too long a name, too many changed team abbreviations gumming up the works, etc. Any recommendations that make for particularly enjoyable game play? Again and as always, thanks guys. It's funny how whenever I would rent TSBIII back in the day, I'd always think about how awesome it would be if it was customizable to the extent I'm just now finding out is actually possible.
  2. Originally, yes - but please don't trouble yourself!!
  3. No need to apologize, boss - thanks for taking the time to look into it. So would you just recommend using TSBM 2000 and starting from the beginning?
  4. Thanks so much for your help, guys. As for having somebody's name being too long, I suppose that includes using the maximum allowable characters? Any time I tried to make somebody's name longer than it could handle, I just used their first initial (ex: Jeremiah Trotter = J. Trotter). I tried resetting the season data and saving the file using TSBM 2000, both to no avail. Attached is the file I've been using...changes I've made are to player names (most players in the game), some team abbreviations (GIA to NYG), and many player attributes. Thanks again, VERY MUCH!! - KC TECMO3.zip
  5. Hello - I've been modding TSB III using the manager, and I've run into a problem after putting in quite a bit of work to it. Basically I've been modding the teams to feature their all-time greatest players, and having everyone's attributes set to or around the pre-determined Pro-Bowl level for each respective position. My brother and I have played a few pre-season games no problem, but when I just went to start a season of it, the screen just goes black instead of bringing up the "select players for trade" menu. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem? I tried auto-adjusting the FAP to no avail. Thanks very much! - KC
