Starting a season with my son but how do you save and pick up back where we left off when using nestopia?

Think you meant don't bother with "Nesticle" there?

I edited my post to be more clear. It's no contest, in my opinion.

I'm a month and a half into this (playing tecmo online). I gave both a fair shot and Nestopia is much better. It isn't even close. I don't even have Nesticle installed anymore. I wasn't a fan of the look and feel of it, but the deal breaker was the lag that nesticle comes with. My advice, just use Nestopia.

Someone remind me how to kick fgs... it's been so long, I can't remember. Depending on what hash I'm on, what do I aim for?

Nice, I just purchased two NES RetroPort controller to USB PC Adapters to play the game with! Can't wait to get started? Do many games get disconnected? They're easy to start back where they left off?

My name is Aquatix, and I've been living under a cave. I spent the greater part of my childhood on Tecmo Super Bowl and thought the game was all but dead. I recently purchased the new version for the DS and it is pretty fun, although you can quit online games with no penatly. SO NOW I RUN ACCROSS THIS? You can play NES games on the PC? Where have I been? THERE ARE LEAGUES? Please, someone break this down for me... How does this work? I downloaded VirtuaNES as well as the game, and can play that.... how do I play others? How do leagues work? How are stats kept? Also, do you have to use the keyboard to play or has someone devloped a controller that works? I will be eagerly awaiting answers... My mind is going a hundred miles an hour right now, over this! Thank you!
