  1. Yea Tom that was a darn good idea. I just downloaded and played the roms. I do remember now that you had to unlock those guys on the SNES tecmo. This is a great guideline for guys to use who make all time roms where the players abilites are way off. Note every locked player was made by tecmo, all in their prime years. Nice!
  2. has anyone out there fixed the defenders on the 4-3 yet? The defenders are hitting the wrong players on the offensive line. Some of them even criss cross once the ball is snapped. Just wondering
  3. Can someone delete the pepto bismol colors that the Chiefs have to create some space for the original home colors the bears should have??? Black helmet, black jersey, with white pants and the black stripe.
  4. 5. Contra 4. Mike Tyson's Punch Out 3. Shinobi on Sega (the arcade version) That was gangsta! 2. Tecmo Bowl 1. Tecmo Super Bowl
  5. I don't know a whole lot on hacking like the rest of you guys so don't jump all down my throat cause im a waterboy, but that is a good idea. However, I think players who have high running speed should be faster that players who dont have high running speed. I believe 56 ms speed is two seconds slower than 63 ms speed. 75 ms is 1st. 69 ms is 1 second slower than 75, and so forth. Now it changes when you get to 56. I believe 56 it's 2 or 3 seconds slower than 63 dont quote me on that but ill have to check again. I just think the rs should help more than it does Like Jerry Rice is 44 69 69 and Barry Sanders is 38 69 69 but they time out at the same speed. In my opinion Jerry should maybe be a second or two faster cause his running speed is higher. For instance they say a player with running speed 44 rushing power 69 maximum speed 56 should be a second or two faster than a player with 38 running speed that is. To my understanding a high running speed only helps the ball carrier reach his maximum speed quicker. Am i right or wrong here? Correct me if im wrong. I run the ball a lot and ive noticed from back to back, that high running speed just helps the ball carrier maintain his speed to make quicker cuts, jukes and fakes ect... Ive timed guys on the game against defenses with every defensive players attributes set on 6. every player with the same ms had the same time no matter what their running speed was. I think that is a glitch in the game that they didn't bother to fix, or maybe they forgot, or maybe it wasn't enough room to do this. But it doesn't make sense to me. If rs does help a player reach his ms quicker, then why do the ball carriers with the same ms time out at the same time? Does anybody understand this?
  6. Yea that quitting sucks I hate guys who quit and then try to blame it on their computer. You Cowgirls fan out there, you know who you are!!!
  7. Yea I've been waiting on this for quite some time now!!!!!! Thanks Coach_Bama for even giving this some thought!!
  8. Thats interesting stuff TecmoRevolution2004 I am about to try it and see what kind of results I can come up with. Do you know how to make the WR's break their routes and come back to catch a pass? Especially on blitzes? I was thinking this could be a helpful move if someone knows how to perfect it!
  9. What I did here was swapped the linebackers and repositioned the d-line
  10. It depends on your rating style. If you want one guy with 75ms and one with 69ms like on the original rom, then I would give Marcus Allen 75 and Payton 69. I usually limit RBs to 63ms though, so I would give them both 63. At the minimum, though, I think Payton should have 63. Good Idea BO
  11. Naw buck his maximum speed if 56, not 75 I'm sorry for craming the numbers to the words. I'll draw it out like this so you can see his abilities better. Running Speed 63 Rushing Power 75 Maximum speed 56 Hitting Power 75 Ball Control 75 Receptions 50 Actually I got an idea of his abilities from a tsb rom from 1985, except I changed his ball control from 56 to 75. Walter had 324 carries in 85, that was a hefty amount. I use the bears that's my team. I'm so used to Neal Andersons speed maybe I have to adjust to Walter's maximum speed being 56. One thing I have noticed about Walter is while im grappling with a player on defense, he does bounce off a lot of would be tacklers. Let me know what you think tho Thanks for the feedback Buck!!!
  12. Is there a hacked rom out there with two kickoff return men deep?? If not I was wondering could it be possible you know how you hold up or down on the d-pad on a kickoff to control if the Kick returner will field the kickoff either at the top of the field, in the middle or at the bottom, if someone placed another return man back deep at the bottom of the screen could this be done and your opponent control which return man will field the kickoff by way of the d-pad being pressed up or down? If the d-pad is neither pressed up or down then the kickoff should by default go to the #1 kick return man.
  13. Can anyone explain why Tom Rathman and Brad Musters recptions are set on 56 instead of 50? Tom Rathman had 48 recs for 327 yds 6.8 avg long 28 and 0 tds, while Brad Muster had 47 recs for 452 yds 9.6 avg long 48 and 0 tds. Thurman had 49 and is set to 50? Did Thurman get snubbed or should Rathman & Muster be 50 also???
  14. Is it just me or does it seem like the Giants defense on tsb causes hellified fumbles? I know they won the super bowl that year but darn!! Is the Giants team set on a high fumble percentage?
