  1. (Man, I need CLE to shut down BUF and LEE EVANS today, if I am to win my Fantasy Football matchup. I'm only up by a few points right now, so if he catches even 1 or 2 passes, I may be screwed!! GO BROWNS!!!)
  2. Thanks Hush! You are the man! I just figured out how to play these NES Roms through the HomeBrew Channel using the SD card now, so I probably won't need to do it through the Wad method anymore. It's probably much safer playing through the Homebrew Channel anyway. But it was fun trying to figure out how to do all this stuff. Thanks again!
  3. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us this time. Your rom just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the great work. A few updates for the Bears that should have probably been made: RB #27 Kevin Jones (should probably replace "the fake" Adrian Peterson" since Jones is listed as 2nd fiddle behind Forte) WR #80 Brandon Lloyd (should definitely replace WR Earl Bennett, ... since Lloyd is listed as 1st string, ahead of Marty Booker, though he has been injured for 5 games... but just returned to the lineup yesterday.) Both players have not been much of a factor for the woeful Bears this year, but have received more playing time than their counterparts. Man, they were just plain awful yesterday, getting spanked on both sides of the ball by their archrival Packers! @$@#!! Also, a few items which I'm not sure have been addressed before: 1) Is the weather option supposed to work? In the options screen, you can turn the weather "ON" or "OFF." But when it's turned on, weather doesn't appear during any games during the season. 2) On defense, when the opposing team has the ball, I can't see to call a time-out to stop the clock (although, it seems to stop automatically or the opposing offense would sometimes call one themselves) - This item is not that big an issue though. 3) When you win the Super Bowl and the credits start rolling, it says "1991 ROSTERS" followed by the team's players' names. Can this be changed to say "2008 ROSTERS"? Anyways, all these little things don't take away from the game, but just thought I should make a note of it. 4. Wad Injector -----> http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=9228 ... ae46e6911d I clicked on your link but didn't see any "Wad Injector" But anyway, I think I had downloaded this tool from some website before (when I was researching into this) but couldn't get it to work properly. I must've been using it wrong because none of the NES TSB files I injected seemed to work on the Wii. I tried many times to create my own wad but got frustrated and simply gave up. Maybe I missed a step or something, I dunno. So, any further help you can give me would be most appreciated. BTW, what game did you use to inject the NES files with?
  5. Thanks Hush7! Since this is the last time you will be injecting Wii wads, do you think you can fill me in on how I can make my own for future TSB roms? If you can send me some instructions or (even some web links to tools and instructions that I can use to make these roms), I would be most greatful. You can send me a PM if you like. Anyway, thanks for making these roms. Playing TSB on the Wii with my buddies on a big screen TV is just freakin fantastic!
  6. Great job on the rom! The laces on the football was a very nice touch. Can't wait to see your final version at season's end! Tough game for the Brownies yesterday, ... but it seems like Brady Quinn may be the real deal. There is a glimmer of hope for all you Cleveland fans. If he continues to play well, your gonna have to make him stronger than Derek Anderson on your rom...haha!
  7. Drummer, I'm sure you already know about this ... another update to make to your rom: Lion's WR Roy Williams just got traded to the Cowboys! Too bad Romo broke his pinky and will be out for 4 weeks. BTW, congrats to your Brownies for spanking the Pats last Sunday. Can't say the same for my Bears ... they squibbed the game away in the closing seconds, allowing Elam to kick a 48-yard field goal to win the game as time expired! How can you blow a game with 0:06 seconds left on the clock!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
  8. Some surprises ... hmmm? Perhaps 2 point conversion, touchback and weather options? ... or maybe not. Great job so far though!
  9. Hi, I am having this same problem. When I go to the SD card in Data Management, the twilight hack is there. However, when I try to copy it to the wii internal memory it says that the files already exist there and won't let me overwrite or anything. If I delete the existing Zelda save and try copying the hack over it won't allow it. A notice pops up that says no files were copied. Does anyone else have this problem and have they found a solution? Many thanks for your help. I had the same problem. The new Wii Menu 3.3 won't work with the old Twilight Hack file. You will need to download the new "Twilight Hack v0.1beta1" file to get the TSB channel to work. Here is the link: http://hackmii.com/2008/06/twilight-hack-v01beta1/ You also need to find out what version of Twilight Princess game you have, because there will be 3 files to choose from. The USA version worked for mine. The first thing you need to do is erase any existing save file of Twilight Princess you have on your system. Then start a new game and create a new save file to the Wii internal memory. (Remember, you have to play the game through at least once to get the Twilight Hack to work...play the game to a point where the game prompts you to save). After you save, exit out of the game and go to the Wii menu. Then insert your SD card with the new "Twilight hack v0.1beta1" in the root menu, and go to "Data management." Once you are in "Data management" screen, delete the Twilight Princess file you just saved from the game and then go to the SD card and copy the "Twilight Hack" file that is compatible with your version of the game. Once the hack file has been copied over to the Will internal memory (replacing the file you deleted), exit out of "data management" and go back to the Wii menu. Start up the game and you should see two Twilight Hack save files to choose from. Choose the save file that corresponds to the region your game is compatible with and start the game. When Link appears on the screen, use the analog stick and move him around and when you do so, the game should blank out and the Twilight Hack system files should start up. Then, from the Twilight Hack menu screen, select the TSB wad file that you want to install and follow the install instructions. Good luck.
  10. Can you make a TSB Rom with all the greatest super bowl teams of all time for the Wii? I tried using the Rom Injector to convert a existing nes file to a wad file. But when I tried to install the VC channel with the Twilight Hack, it didn't work. I think I'm using the Rom Injector incorrectly. Great Job on the current Wads you have uploaded though! TSB 2K9 is a lots of fun. I like the challenge the cpu brings too!
  11. Wonder how Davis got his figure inside McGahee's visor...haha! Oops! I meant to say "finger"
  12. Nice! Looks like Brown's linebacker Andra Davis was cleared of any wrong doing after poking McGahee in the eye last Sunday, since the League could not find any evidence that he "intentionally" did it! Wonder how Davis got his figure inside McGahee's visor...haha! Good luck against the Bengals on Sunday.
  13. Fantastic Rom "drummer4god"! I new to this forum, but have been a Super Tecmo Bowl fan for years. I didn't know stuff like this existed until just recently, when one of my buddies (BIG Nintendo Fan) told me about it. It s**ks that Madden own the rights to the NFL Players license,...giving EA Sports Madden Football franchise a basic monopoly over all footballs games on the market. I think the New Tecmo Super Bowl coming out for the DS is going to stink says it doesn't have actual players' names and numbers. When I found out about your Rom and got it to work on the Wii, it was like TSB Heaven all over again! Regarding the criticisms about your Rom, I wouldn't even worry about it as you're never ever going to satisfy every fan out there. A few things I wish you can do in the game: enable PR's and KR's to do a Touchback and also enable a team to go for a 2-point conversion after a TD. I'm not sure if it is possible to add these changes to the game ... maybe not, but it's no big deal. Regardless, thanks for making/editing the rom! Keep up the good work! I wonder if there will be a TSB-greatest teams Rom (Wad file) available to upload to the Wii?
  14. Just realized that "drummer4god" created the rom, with the contributions of many fans and editors (as you post indicated)! Thanks for posting the links and tutorials though. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known that this game could be even played on the Wii. Good stuff!
  15. Great Job Hush7! All the updates you made for TSB 09 was pretty much on the money! I liked the fact that you changed Chad Johnson's name to "Ocho Cinco" even though the NFL didn't allow it...haha! You also made the computer opponent really challenging. Did you juice up the skill level? The computer players are really fast! Will you be creating a Wad file for all the greatest Super Bowl Teams of all time ('85 Bears, '89 49ers, '72 Dolphins, etc)? I know there are already some ROMs out there for NES and SNES emulators, but not one for the Wii. Man, it would be great if a greatest teams rom could be downloaded to the Wii Channel! Anyway, thanks for doing a great job with TSB 09!
