A couple buddies and I do this about once a year just to get a season in. We choose 3 or 4 teams that don't play one another to avoid having to set up online to play. I have the a few rooms set up for this somewhere so I could see what teams we used if you wanted to know?

These are both very cool, I had made a draft in the past that ran through Google sheets, but you guys are much better at it is seems. Thanks for sharing both of you. Also you say you play on the Raspberry p, did you ever find a way to pull your stats from a save file from the pi. That is the only reason we do not use the pi to play our seasons?

Where I seem to get stuck when i was working on this a while back, was how much do you need to reward, punish players based on stats. I remember working on the formulas for the RB and gave up because i could not come up with a nice balance. I think the age part would be an easy formula to add in , speed decreases as they get older(I know not always true, Darrell Green), but look at Peyton and Brad, both have aged differently, Peyton's arm was dead last year, and Brady is still the Best QB in the Game. Those little things would be what makes including age difficult in my opinion. But if it is just a decrease based on years played then that would not be nearly as difficult if we had them all decrease the same. ??thoughts?

That is a good idea. My original thought behind the rand # was sometimes guys have huge years, but really don't get any better after that, so there is a chance your stats would not go up much, even with a good season. That way there is still a chance guys don't max out in a few years by just focusing on them. Like I said though this is just a start. I would be willing to change or add anything if it would work and people could us it.

It is in the plans, I just got a started with it. I got stuck with how much the attributes should go up or down based on the season stats. I will try to post the file here soon.

I have been playing around with this for awhile now. I have qbs done. It takes the season stats and they get a point value based on yards, qbr, comp %,ext...then that number gets taken times a random decimal and added to a state. And the does this for each attribute that affects the qb. The number gets added to the given stat and if it is enough to go up to the next tier of state valueot goes up. If not it saves that number and can be added to it after the next year's stats to get to the next tier. Or go down. I will look and post if the file if you are interested.

Rating him would be tough, on TSB. He was a different type of player. Undated free agent that made the team with a pulled groin his rookie year. His skill set would not translate to TSB very well. He was my favorite player growing up as a kid, so my attributes for him would be very biased.

I am also not that talented, just a wish. I would agree with you i had more fun with this baseball game then any other. I still play when i get a chance against friends. I was kind of joking about Bo not being on all time rom. just with this being a super tecmo forum and all, and knowing what a video game version of Bo can do. .

I played around with the all-time team rom he made from his sight. I was pretty sweet, no Bo anywhere to be found? My wish list would be a way to extract game by game stats. I know the game keeps good season stats( if they dont get erased at the all star break), but to move them to an excel sheet would be awesome. I can dream i guess.

Could you use this to put passing plays in for rushing plays?

In the last part i was saying that i am going to try to redo the main menu logo, i just went to the hex editor, found the place were the colors for the logo are kept and turned them all black, and left the ones that said "easo" and wrote in the s and the n and 3 because i could not find the tiles in yy-cha or the hex editor to change them, so i just made it look the best i could.

WOW! thanks pambazos, I am definitly going to try to fix up my menu page, apriciate the help. The one thing that i dont understand is "If you go to offset x23EE8 (HEXeditor) youll find:" I know that is a rookie question and i can and do use hex editors, but what does that mean, i have never figured it out?? What i did to make my midfiel logo was use nesticle and yy-chr, i found the tiles in nesticle and numbered and lettterd them to be able to find the in yy-chr, like in the tw0 pictures below and then mapped out my pogo on a grid and patched up the tiles and redrew it in yy-chr, but this did not work for me it the main menu logo. So I am going to go back now and see if i can make any improvements...I will let you know if it works for this is how i renamed then in nesticle (numbers and letters to keep them straight) me. Then i went into yy-chr and found the numbers and letters i made in nesticle.... and mapped out my new logo on this grid

Thanks for the advice were to look for those colors. I actually figured it out a day or so later, just lost my patience and got feed up. When i slowed down i was able to find what i was looking for. But thank you it helped me know where to look in the future, because i used trial and error until i got the right result. This will same me time in the future. I feel the same way, sometimes i just dont understand what these guys are talking about when i read the help documents, but usually after time i kind of get it, at least enough to get by Here is how it turned out. Now i need to just take some time and figure out the main menu log, that is not going to well yet, i have just made it all black for now until i can figure out how to edit those pallets without changing the midfield logo this is what i got on that so far

I agree the field looks awesome. Have not had a chance to play a full game but it looks great. If I can I would like to change the look of the Iowa helmet. Make the tigerhawk more rounded if you don't mind.

Well here is the thing I have completly remade my midfield logo and only have a few things left to change and one of them is the color to match the field. I have read all of the post and documents that I can find on here and still seem to be having the same problem. How do I get the part at the bottom to turn from blue to green. I have tried changes values in a hex editor and am just unsure what to do. Thanks for any help that I get. Buchos

I am in Sioux City, it is in the north west. We have a very small league going, it does have players from Colorado, Maryland, and all parts of Iowa. Just a way for us to all keep in touch. This would be easy to make for more teams, i know that the file i posted only had 7 teams, but i was thinking that someone on here could use it for them self, it would not be to hard to change the teams around or add teams to it, the print outs have headers with pictures to get the team picture behind the text.
