Is it the patch, or the kicker's ability or the computer or the player?

I use the coach mode. I'm pretty certain it's the patch. That arrow moves so darn fast that the PC controlled kickers [that's how the coach mode works] can't keep up with it.

This ROM is very sweet.

Is there any way to remove a patch once it's added? I coach and the kickers a terrible, I thought I read that you added a FG patch to make it harder to kick them. Well, when coaching they routinely miss chipshots and sometimes PAT tries. So, if that can be removed let me know and I'll do it.

Bases Loaded roms never work with nesticle for some odd reason.

i dont know what i am doing wrong but i cant run any of these roms. i dl, unzip and then place in my nesticle folder. then i run nesticle and try to open rom but it always says unable to open. any help would be greatly appreciated cause id like to try this rom out. thanks

I can't run this one either. I have thousands of roms but my emulator won't recognize this one for some reason.

As I said before, remove all punctuation.

i recently started playing with the 2pt conversion idea again and this time around is looking a lot more promising. i have a 6pt conversion working. i've only tried it with man vs man and man vs com and no the com didn't use it. still got some more stuff to do.

as with the other gamplay hacks, you'll be able to turn it off from the options menu. that way everyone is happy.

My bad... I didn't have the new version. I do have another question though... The tool gives you the option to change the offensive formation, but when I play the game, I don't notice any difference. When I use a 3 or 4 WR formation, it still uses the FB. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Yea, I have seen this. Try resetting all the data when viewing the team data. if it still fails rename the file when you apply to ROM.

In any event, what do you mean by unlimited stats? Tracking over the years or just more seasonal stats?

Please realize that this is a beta release (you are a beta tester if you use this) and make sure you check the error/ warning messages after you apply data to a rom. If you use this, make sure you do work on a copy so you don't screw up your original ROM.

I have noticed that the offensive and deffensive SIM values for all 4 teams in the NFC West are set at 0 and they don't save if you edit them. Any thoughts on how to remedy this? Thanks.

The thing about the original is that the teams really do have their own personality. For example, you know what you're going to get when you go against SF. They're friggin awesome and you really have to work to beat them, run time down, stuff like that. With Houston and that R&S you're toast if you play the run. And vice versa with Detroit. I can go an entire game and not choose a pass play on defense when playing Sanders.

It's hard to get that today, maybe the parity in the NFL is now effecting TSB!!!

With the newer games, it takes a lot of time and editing to get that feel.

Yes, this is the best game ever after some tweaking but the original will always have that swagger, that thing that distinguishes it.

I do suggest that you run the Auto-sim feature in TSBToolSupreme before you apply the data to a ROM

I've never used this feature. I have done everything manually with a ROM I created for myself and I am very happy with the sim results in the few seasons I've played and simmed.

It's very consistent for me and usually goes with how the NFL has been lately. There's always a surprise but that's what is so great about this game.

I will try it out though.

Sim data based off ratings is a good idea but I have zero patience for doing ratings!!

Is there any such tool out there that auto generates ratings?

For example, if I take a QB, RB, or WR\TE and plug in his statistics, then hit a generate button and out comes his TSB ratings.

That would be sweet!!

What about making the field bigger? I've seen it made smaller for the arena roms, would making the field bigger help this?

And this really isn't a problem in the juiced roms.
