  1. You can barely keep a kickoff returner healthy for more than a few games at a time. Did Tecmo really put code in place to have them injured more often than other players?
  2. One is a completely unique player, the other is a notch better than Drew Hill or Henry Ellard.
  3. Loving the post-game interviews.
  4. Here's an online RBI Baseball editor: http://nightwulf.rbicentral.com/rbi-editor/ There's plenty of recent rosters. Just make your changes and then download your rom.
  5. Totally agree. If everyone is just going to vote based on max speed, you might as well put Bo in the finals right now. How cool was it the first time you took Okoye and just popcorned everyone left and right.
  6. I've played both Castlevania DS games and thought Portrait of Ruin was better. I like puzzle games and have really enjoyed both Picross DS and Crosswords DS. At first I didn't like using the stylus to control Link in the Phantom Hourglass but once I got used to it, it had me hooked for weeks. Although Space Invaders Extreme got good reviews, it just didn't hold my attention. It was fun for about an hour but didn't give me much after that.
  7. http://sports.yahoo.com/box/blog/box_experts/post/Canseco-knocked-for-a-loop-in-boxing-debut?urn=box,93737 Canseco knocked for a loop in boxing debut By Steve Cofield How many times will former athletes get into a boxing ring before they realize the sport is NOT easy? Not every big guy can be a boxer. The 6-foot-4, 248-lb. Jose Canseco, a former baseball slugger who has been at the center of the steroids controversy, found out quickly that you don't mess with someone who has legitimately worked on his fight game. Former Philadelphia Eagle Vai Sikahema, 45, definitely has skills and showed them while pummeling Canseco in 97 seconds. Sikahema, a Golden Gloves champ before his football career with more than 80 amateur fights, was giving away seven inches and 43 pounds. The size disadvantage had zero effect on what looked and sounded like a very angry Sikahema: Not only did Canseco (pictured with ex-wife Jessica) insult boxers with this stunt, he actually had the gall before the fight to mention a mixed martial arts career. Canseco, 44, claims that he is a black belt in Kung Fu, Taekwando and Muay Thai: "I wanted to get involved with MMA (mixed martial arts) and this is first step to it. Let's see what happens, how I do, how the fans like it. I'll have to see. If I go anything further than this I'll have to train a lot more, really take this serious. I really didn't take this serious at all. Hopefully we can have some fun." Sikahema clearly wasn't on hand to have "fun" and Canseco learned that he'd better get serious if he ever tries it again. He may also want to stay away from Philly opponents: "He came out here in first-class, (and is) flying home coach. That's how we roll in Philly," Sikahema said. Canseco told Channel 10 NBC in Philly that he'd like to fight Sikahema again. If Sikahema won't do it, there's a line five miles long willing to challenge the former MLB slugger the next time around, according to Bernard Fernandez of the Philadelphia Daily News: (Fight promoter Damon) Feldman said he has received nearly 2,000 e-mails from people who'd like a shot at Canseco, including, he claimed, third-party representatives professing to represent former champions Mike Rossman, Ray Mercer and Bobby Czyz. Canseco wisely has said he'd prefer not to mix it up with real pro fighters, at least not initially. Canseco went through this public humiliation for just $35,000. Better yet, Canseco may have fought for free. He owes his former lawyer Robert Saunooke $342,000 in overdue legal fees. Saunooke, who said he would double Sikahema's winnings, actually played football at BYU in 1988 shortly after Sikahema ('80-'85). Sikahema will donate $5,000 of his $25,000 purse to the widow of a Philadelphia police sergeant who was killed in the line of duty earlier this year.
  8. Great work on the rom so far. Quick question.... I'm missing the sound byte for the QB saying "hut hut hut hut....". There is no sound for those few seconds but then everything returns to normal after the snap. I'm using FCEUltra so is it a problem with the rom or one of my sound settings? All other TSB roms sound fine.
  9. Hasn't drummer said all along that he uses Madden's overall rating for receptions, and then the WRs speed rating? So it looks like his KRs have accurate max speed but are rated too high in receptions. Big f'ing deal. Some people act like drummer smacked around their momma or something.
  10. Almost every player you just named is a current or future NFL pro bowler. Heck, most of them are rated in the top 10-15 at their position by Madden right now. It's just a simple case of overhyping young players, and Madden falls into that trap too. Just take a deep breath and relax a bit.
  11. Thanks for all of the hard work you put into this rom. It plays really well, especially the best RBs getting the best speed and the best WRs getting the best catching. A few questions.... -- I'm not very familiar with all of the patches that have been applied. Which patches were they again? -- Is there some way for me to modify the text on the intro screen? Thanks again!
