  1. You are the man Drummer. Nice job on the ROM by the way, and I kinda dig the laces. The two new field logos are a little distracting, but nothing I can't live with.
  2. Hey Drummer, Love the ROM, but.... umm... what the hell? I'm a big Falcons fan, and I've been playing a season with them on each of the updates of the ROM. Today I got to the 2nd or 3rd game of the Final version, and they were wearing red jerseys, red pants, and red helmets. I think you were going for the retro uniform look, but I don't think the Falcons have EVER worn red pants, and the all red was fugly to say the *least*! Just wondering what your thinking was for putting that in this version or if it was a glitch.

  4. I have to say, this rom seems pretty rough from the little I played it. I played a game with the Falcons, and immediately noticed the following: *John Abraham is black, but white on the game. *Keith Brooking is white, but black on the game. *Keith Brooking's name is misspelled as "Booking". *Matt Ryan's name is misspelled as "Rayn". *Morton Anderson is the kicker. He hasn't been on the team for months. I only played 1 quarter of a game and saw all of these things.
  5. If you read the date he posted it, it was on July 16th. Yes, I realized that. I was just hoping he was going to do a roster update now that the season has started and rosters are finalized.
  6. Is this going to be updated with current rosters? I'm a huge Falcons fan (I know, I know...), and right off the top of my head you have Joey Harrington in the backup quarterback slot, and he's not even with the team anymore. I also noticed Chad Pennington starting for the Jets. Just a few things at first glace, I'm sure there are tons of roster updates that need to be made.
  7. Not to be nitpicky, 'cause I know what you meant, but the '98 Falcons did make it to the Super Bowl. They just lost.
  8. So I'm guessing this is for SNES and not NES?
  9. Sean Landeta retired this week. One more TSB player gone.
  10. Which version are you playing? Go to page 1 of this thread and get version 1.05. Most all bugs (including the NFC West stats you mentioned) have been fixed.
  11. So I guess I'm the only one this bothers?
  12. Long time lurker, very few posts. I have to say that the 32 team ROM is amazing. You guys have squeezed more out of TSB than I ever thought possible. Just mind blowing. And now I can set the quarter lengths, and change plays in the middle of the game. I'm almost speechless. It's TSB nirvana! I would vote for the 2-point conversion as well, but there is still one thing about TSB the way it is that bugs me. I've always lived with it up until now, but seeing all the things you've accomplished with this ROM, I would think that it wouldn't be too hard to fix. After a safety in the NFL, the team caught in the endzone must kick to the other team from their own 20. On-sides kicks are not allowed, but in TSB, the CPU can and, if it's late in the 4th quarter and they're losing, *will* kick an on-sides kick and sometimes get it. Nothing irritates me more than to be in a tight game leading by a point or two, make a big play by tackling the CPU in the endzone, only to have him recover an on-sides kick. I know I still get the two points, but *I* should get the ball and be able to run out the clock for the win. Instead I'm fighting defensively again to keep him from scoring on some BS long run or pass play. Anyway, is there any "switch to flip" in all that code that will prevent on-side kicks when kicking off from the 20 (as opposed to the 35 for a normal kickoff)? P.S. I have a Palm T|X with an emulator called NesEm on it. I was concerned, but the 32 team ROM runs great on it. The screen's a little small, but not intolerable, and the speed is almost perfect. TSB anywhere, anytime!
  13. Yeah, I thought it was just because I was playing a season with the Falcons (please don't flame me... don't you think I've been through enough?!?), but yeah I'm scrambling for my life about 2/3rds to 3/4ths of the time. I just thought the Falcons had a weak O line (like in real life), and there is almost always someone busting right through. Glad to see it happens with other teams too.
  14. Just out of curiousity, the last time I looked at the ROM you had changed nothing on the Falcons. Now being a Falcons fan for many years, I know it's HARD to come up with an all-time best :^) but I was wondering if you're going to make any changes instead of leaving the original '91 roster. I can help some if you have nothing, but I don't know if I can put together a whole roster.
  15. I just saw the first Chargers preseason game this weekend. I'm diggin' the white helmets! Any chance you can edit the color to give them the new white with the lightning bolt?
