  1. Not a bad idea. JJ Watt tearing down Andrew Luck? JJ Watt sacking Manning.. Here is a fun one.... Although not multiple players, I really like this Russell Wilson...
  2. absolutely nothing just wanted to see a picture of his wife....
  3. If we are not able to use players that have already been on a cover, then JJ Watt or Andrew Luck are your only options. While legendary Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders is the cover athlete of current-gen versions of Madden 25, current Minnesota Vikings superstar Adrian Peterson was announced as the cover athlete for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game at EA's E3 press conference on June 10th. I'm going to throw this one out there. What do you think about Tannehill? No, not Mrs. Tannehill, Mr. Tannehill...
  4. Aaron Hernandez...I mean Andrew Luck. Was sacked more than Jay Cutler and still had 4300 yards passing....as a rookie. never happened before. Also had 7 great game winning drives. Meet QB Bills. RGII as a rookie put up 3200 yards passing, 20 TDs only 5 ints AND 815 yards rushing with 7tds. I sense attributes similar to QB Eagles on this one. I think Adrian Peterson should get some love since he ran for over 2,000 yards on a new knee. Bo Jackson in Purple. JJ tWatt is a good candidate. Reggie White/Bob Nelson Combo? Calvin Johnson and his 122 grabs for 1964 yards makes sense as well. Jerry Rice Numbers in the Silver and Honolulu Blue.
  5. I love 1989 Pro Set. It's just my favorite. They aren't worth anything because Lud Denny the owner had all these printing presses and just printed a fuckload of cards and flooded the market. So, a complete set could be had for around $20. However, there are some really cool pictures and many many memories. I could look at the set of 1989 pro set for hours, just the photography alone was amazing. Buck is a huge 1989 Score guy.
  6. Don, Love the color condition system and the playbook 1 and playbook 2 are all great ideas. I would love to see a finished product.
  7. Wow. This sounds awesome! Is it on the original rom? Great job. Can't wait to check it out.
  8. I tried to follow those directions and for some reason It still wasn't working for me.
  9. I'm glad you are enjoying the Rom. It's funny because I wanted to create a rom that made simple "fixes" to the original. Even though I think I got as close as I could with my limited knowledge of hacking....I still play the original more than anything. I find myself enjoying some of the quirks that the game has. But I'm glad you like it. I still need to fix that kick return bug on how the guy sometimes lets the ball bounce first. It's an easy fix. I just don't know how. Maybe I'll check it out again tonight and see what I can do. Thank you for your enthusiasm and awesome feedback. We need more guys like you around.
  10. That's really cool. I just play all of those games on the computer through emulators and roms/imgs. Then I get to use one controller for everything and doesn't take up any additional space.
  11. I'm no hacker....so I dunno what this really means, but..... Tecmo Super Bowl has an unused crash handler. The entry point to this routine is hiding in bank 1A at offset 0x1A000 and the CPU address is 0x9A00. http://tcrf.net/Tecmo_Super_Bowl_(NES) Does this mean anything? Is this new information?
  12. Just watched ESPN's Elway to Marino about the 1983 draft and they said mike Haddix finished his career with the lowest YPC in NFL history.
  13. Welcome to the boards. That late 89s, early 90s era of football along with this game has a special place in all of our hearts. Which is why we are still here. Thank you for sharing. I have not used Mike Haddix enough to comment. I don't really run much unless I have Sanders, Jackson, etc. But, welcome, look around, have a drink, ask questions and I hope you enjoy your stay..... Cheers!
  14. Great post I love these old highlights. Sterling Sharpe is someone that I always forget just how good he was. What a beast!!!!
  15. WOW. Very well done. Great presentation. I have to admit, I have never heard of the ONEFA league before. This ROM is so well put together and finished. Very polished. The graphix and gameplay are fantastic. This has to be one of the most complete non-NFL roms I have come across. Thank you so much for sharing this GEM. Bravo!
  16. Obviously, nobody is going to record every game through the season.I do have the final save state. No NT glitch was used. I always change my playbook, but never my opponent.
  17. Over 8,000 yards in one season? DAG. That is pretty darn spectacular.
  18. Man he was scrappy and shifty. Some of those moves look like what he was doin in the NFL. Looks like he also had the same offensive line.
  19. Hideshia Yamaguchi says "I believe there are some users that are still enjoying the game to this day." Has he seen this site? Does he have any idea the following the game still has?
  20. What are some of your best Team, end of season stats? Here's mine. Offense Yards Total Offense - 6717 - Rams Passing Yards - 6274 - Rams Rushing Yards - 3437 - Raiders Defensive Yards Total Defense - 1749 - Vikings Passing Yards - 1195 - Cardinals Rushing Yards - 312 - Dolphins Points For - 988 - Vikings Points Against - 71 - Vikings I couldn't break 1000 points with the Vikings, although real close. I think I can break the 1000 point mark with the 49ers. I just hate using them.
  21. You could. But it was just be the names of the players.
  22. I think this is what we are going to be looking at (although not an official release): http://www.thephinsider.com/2013/4/24/4259602/new-dolphins-uniform-leak-reaction I love the Vikings "Flat Purple" look on the helmet. Also Like the white/white/white Dolphins jerseys.
  23. For which version? NES or SNES?
