  1. The ESPN Playmakers team should be the Toronto Cougars rather than the Miami Cougars. The series was filmed in Toronto, and all of the scenes in the owners box were filmed in the Skydome, or whatever the hell they call it these days. I actually did something similar on Madden, except it was an all-star team with a mix of movie characters known as the Hollywood Glitz. I had four different uniforms (Miami Sharks, Cougars, Washington Sentinels, and the Mean Machine). This is an awesome idea to have an entire ROM based on Hollywood, good luck man.
  2. Sorry, dude. Just trying for some alliteration in the post's title. Much like the real Dave Krieg, I am a failure.
  3. I just downloaded the TSB 2k6-2k7 rom. The following story takes place on the "brown" version. When I start playing a new rom, I like to play a super bowl rematch right off the bat. I decided to play as the Seahawks, simply because I have Shaun Alexander in fantasy football this year. I won the coin toss and opted to kickoff. I like to recieve to start the second half. I held Rothlisberger and the Steeler offense to three-and-out on their opening series, mainly thanks to a slick open field tackle by Michael Boulware on Willie Parker on 3rd and 5. The Steelers assumed the punt formation somewhere between their own 10 and 15 yard lines. I (as Seattle's Nate Burleson) fielded a Chris Gardocki punt at my own 30 yard line. Gardocki out-kicked Pittsburgh's coverage, so I ran for 10 yards easily before an un-marked Steeler (for the sake of the story, let's say it was Troy Polamalu) absolutely obliterated Burleson with a vicious de-cleater, causing the ball to pop loose just shy of midfield. Only three players were on the screen: Polamalu, the corpse of Nate Burleson, and another Pittsburgh player with the number "2" flashing above his head. The second Steeler scooped up the loose ball and revealed himself to be Chris Gardocki. The 16 year veteran took off with remarkable speed for a man his age. For the life of me, I could not catch him. The former Clemson Tiger ran, un-touched, for the first touchdown by a punter I have ever seen in all my years of Tecmo Super Bowl, and hacked roms based upon it. I apologize for the black space on the corner of the screen shot. I accidentally hit F2 to pause emulation instead of F3 to capture a screen shot. The Steelers scored their only points of the game on Gardocki's early heroics. Following the utter humiliation of Nate Burleson, the Seahawks struck down upon Cowher's crew with great predjudice, and there was much rejoicing in the far Northwest. To conclude, I'd just like to say that I love the new roms, thanks to everyone who had a hand in making them happen.
