Same problem here sometimes, but I don't play much single player. Also, am I the only one whose rom doesn't save?

I've spent some time with the single player in season mode. I like the fact that every running back is pretty good, but when you play the computer in season mode they break a long touchdown run a lot, especially later in the season. The playbooks don't seem like they'd work well for two players as there are a lot of plays that are give aways (ie the dolphins have a play action play with motion before the play with no corresponding run play with motion). Not sure I like that every quarterback has a strong arm. Not bad though, in my opinion.

I played this for a short bit (not even a full game yet) but I did notice a couple things on kickoffs: Jericho Cotchery of the Jets (KR) isn't fast enough to catch a ball kicked off to the back of the end zone. The Bears kick returner caught the ball and then ran backwards before running forwards. Not sure if this is under your control or not.
