  1. Sure, you could do it. But it's a hell of a lot of work. You may want to check into XNA if you are planning on making a new game. XNA is basically a game engine for the .NET framework (the games build on XNA would work on Windows and Xbox 360). There is a development enviornment (Game Studio Express) that you can download for free from microsoft's XNA website. You may also want to check out http://www.garagegames.com/ .
  2. Can you get the jersey numbers in there?
  3. Ok, Just upload the spreadsheet.
  4. Has anybody expieremented with values other than what's already in the ROM ? Like anyone tried something like 03 05 06 09 0B ? In order to see if you could make it even more difficult.
  5. I'll be adding a 'Juice' option in the next version of TSBTool, along with playbook support, offensive formation support, support for cxrom's 30 team ROM and a much better GUI.
  6. The same exact sequence starts at 0x2699a in the TSB1 Snes ROM. So it looks like we can modify the JUICE in TSB1 (snes) also.
  7. What exactly didn't work? I tried it myself and it worked fine.
  8. Did you edit the team sim offense and defense? The stuff like (TEAM = bills SimData=0x89) ? Open up the ROM in SNES_TSBTool and check out how the sim data looks.
  9. I see. Well in order to Auto update SNES TSB 1 you could do the following: 1. Open up SNES_TSBTool, load the TSB1 snes rom you are interested in. 2. List the contents. 3. Select View->Sanitize Data for nes TSB 4. Copy the contents into TSBTool (nes version). 5. Apply the data to some nes TSB rom. 6. open up your nes TSB ROM in the Sim editor 7. Run the 'Auto Update' feature. 8. Save the rom. 9. Open up TSBTool (nes), load the nes ROM 10. List contents 11. Copy the contents from TSBTool (nes) and paste it into SNES_TSBTool. 12. Apply to Rom. Done.
  10. I can modify TSBTool to work with this new ROM. I'll just need the locations of the new teams.
  11. You tried SNES_TSBTool? http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7694 You shouldn't have to delete a header for SNES TSB (at least I have not seen a header on a snes tsb ROM). Try downloading the original here: http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/index.php?page ... y&cat_id=3 See if you have better luck with that ROM.
  12. TSBTool http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6941
  13. You can use TSBTool to transfer player names, attributes and sim attributes to different ROMs. http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6941
  14. Yup, seriously. We've been working on it for a little over a week. So far I have some of the easy stuff out of the way (play graphic arrangement, play name modification, formation changing, defensive reaction assignment changing).
  15. Jstout and I are currently working on a play editor. Expect it to be released within 3 months.
  16. There is currently no program that modifies TSBIII sim attributes. This thread: http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/viewtopic. ... 2734#62734 discusses how to do it.
  17. I did. It only comes back with 4 hits, I don't see it available for download on any of those 4.
  18. I Get an error about not having MFC2d.dll when I try to run this program. Where do I get it?
  19. There is a lot of information on TSBIII in the hacking documentation forum. http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=22
  20. I'm sure you'll need to have your PS2 modded in order to do this. To find out more check out http://www.zophar.net/consoles/ps2.html .
  21. There should be no problem saving a text file with notepad. 'File-> Save', or 'File-> Save As' should work. If you want to, you can save the file through TSBTool (by using the 'Save Data' button).
  22. In notepad, go to 'File-> Save As', and save it to a text file somewhere on your computer. Once you have all the text, you can use TSBTool to apply it to a ROM. The text file you are creating can be used kinda like how a .tsb file is intended to be used for TSBM2000 (you can have definitions for the players' attributes in one file and use TSBTool or SNES_TSBTool to apply it to a ROM). I just much perfer an 'easy-to-read-and-modify' text format over the binary format that TSBM2000 uses in the .tsb files.
