I have downloaded a Rom and I wanted to update rosters for it as I love it. However, TSBM won't let me open the file and I get the error message "NOT A ROM FILE". It confuses me because I can play the ROM just fine. Can anybody give me advise on how to open it? It is a .nes file. Perhaps people can block their ROMS so they can't be edited.

I'm certainly willing to try.

I appreciate the response. I'll still hold out hope as I would only need 1 helmet for the CFL Rom. Maybe somebody will do it. For now I will do the rosters and have the rest ready. I have tried using the Helmet editor and I just can't get going in it. Don't understand it at all even after reading about it. Most of it seems unresponsive yet it clearly works as people use it. The UFL Rom needs 8 helmets so I'm not going to continue that project. Thanks.

I am working on making a UFL rom using the XFL rom as a base. There were 8 teams in the history of the UFL so I would do a team for each. Since there were 8 teams in the XFL that should take care of my schedule issues. I however just can't figure out the helmet editor stuff. Is anybody willing to do the helmets? I can use the CFL Rom that had the Ottawa Renegades if somebody can update the helpmet to the Redblacks helmet. I have figured out how to update the Rosters and I am starting that project using the CFL 2012 Rom. Would anybody be willing to help by just adding the one helmet after? I am struggling to figure out updating the schedule but I will keep trying on that one. The helmet stuff I can't figure out.

I love the Grey Cup 2012 game that was made. I would love to play an updated version of that with all 9 teams now and updated rosters. Unfortunately I'm just not smart enough to make it. I don't get this stuff. I don't want to break any rules by requesting a ROM in the wrong section so if this is not allowed can a MOD please move my post to the appropriate place?

Did this project inspire anybody to start working on it? Just curious to see where the progress stood if somebody was.

I just finished a season of Rose bowl 2002 and thought it was a great rom. Just curious if there are more recent versions of it out there. Possibly even this year?

I think the classic cfl teams are a great idea for filler teams.

Instead of xfl filling out the league you could do arena teams. I haven't seen an arena rom either and it is also an offensive league and would be a perfect fit despite the differences in rules.

I think both CFL rules and teams. But it would be best to go with retro teams before they contracted they had a bigger league. You could fill out the league with XFL teams from that existing rom or whatever. But Rocket Ismail, Pinball Clemons and Doug Flutie would all be awesome to have in the game.

Tecmo is the best game ever and the fact that you can edit it and make new roms is the best thing ever. The game is two easy to score and the first and 16 roms are fun but punting on third down instead of fourth would be even better. Not too mention that Tecmo plays like a cfl game. IT would be the best rom ever, bar none if somebody with skill did it.

If anybody actually has a CFL rom I would love it if they could send it to me at [email protected]. I saw some posts about one being created but I can't find it.
