    Thanks for another year drummer

    You, and all my fans, and the tecmo community are welcome. But i am seriously thinking of hanging it up. Alot of things have happened,most of them bad. But i am still pressing on in life. It is a chore just keeping food on the table,bills paid,and my internet on,my wife's meds are expensive. And they take a large chunk of what we receive each month  (we are both disabled) her prescription coverage won't kick in till next year. So very soon i will have to give up my internet,unless something happens soon. When i tore my quad last sept 15th,it not only put me flat of my back,but it took away the only way i had of making extra cash fixing pc's,and installing security systems. So yea, i've sold my car,pawned pretty much all we have,and still we come up short.  i am out of options,so idk what else to do. If only  1 4th of ppl who downloaded my rom would have donated $1 it would of damn near paid my internet for the year. But i asked for help, and appreciate,and thank those who did help by donating,it helped a great deal. But those donations were spent on my wife's meds first,and any that was left went towards internet. Elway,fatcheerleader,and estang can attest to the fact i am truthful and honest. i  have hacked their psp's and shipped them back to them,with no problem. So as a last word if anyone can help please do so by donating to my paypal at [email protected]   I assure you not a penny donated to me n my wife are spent for anything other than meds,and internet.  It makes me feel like a bum asking for donations, but i have exhausted all my avenues to iron things out myself,and my rope is coming undone. Btw to date my rom has been downloaded 2,600 times with only my facebook,and word of mouth promoting it, not to shabby.   So this is all i know to say,so there you have it....................Drummer

    Wow!  I'm really impressed. I think this version is ultra playable.  Best version I've gotten my hands on yet.

    Of course, my team (both in Tecmo and real life) is the Seahawks, so I have some minor quibbles with their settings-

    1)  Those green jerseys are hideous.  They used to have green jerseys as an alternate that they wore one awful time.  Dark blue on blue pants, or dark blue on grey pants would be the hotness.   :)

    2)  I still have some gripes on Russell Wilson's speed/throwing ability.  He's not as fast as Griffin who ran a 4.41, but RW's fastest time was a 4.48 and his median was 4.55 at the combine.  25 RS and 31MS seems a little slow, I think his top speed is closer to the low 40's for raw numbers.  If you watch him he has incredible acceleration- he hits top speed almost instantly.  That's how he plays, and should play in the game.  He wouldn't be as fast as other players, but could move around behind the line to find time.  

    His pass control should be a 60 instead of a 56 as well.  The guy has ALWAYS been accurate, he was one of the best all time in accuracy his final year at Wisconsin, and was in the top 10 in QBR as well as passer rating for the year.  /End Homerism ;)

    3)  Sticking with the NFC west for a moment, Kaepernick's passing speed is a bit low too.  If you've watched him, the guy has a top 5 arm in terms of velocity.  He can throw a football darn near 60mph, on a radar gun.  Absolute cannon of an arm. 

    4)  Zach Miller wears number 86, not 80.  The number 80 is retired for the Seahawks, as it was worn by hall of famer Steve Largent.

    5)  Matt Flynn wears #15.

    6)  Lastly, Robert Turbin's speed is way too low.  That guy is a burner, flat out.  No one outside of the northwest would know this but he's really fast.  Faster than Marshawn, and RW.  I'd bump him up too.  He doesn't break tackles as well as Lynch does, though.  So I'd keep that low.

    RGIII feels just about right.  He's a game breaker in real life and should stay that way, though a bit of a glass cannon so he should be used sparingly.  Incredible player.   :)

    ok check your pm box...........  and on rb's i use madden's overall for their speed ratings,turbin's overall in madden is 74 if i gave him his real speed he turns into bo jackson and thats crazy. for the rb's hp i use their trucking rating from madden.

    Drummer, do you get updated, comma-delimited Madden ratings at the end of each week?  I'm not suggesting that ratings be updated every week -- that would be a ridiculous undertaking -- but I'm thinking about starting a league here at home next year where the ratings are updated at mid-season, and then again right before the playoffs start.

    Yes i get ratings updates,and update rom. I've done it for years! Doing a rom is a huge undertaking,but i really like doing it. it has kept me sane through this whole ordeal. i am about to upload a  update in next hour so be on lookout! :)

    I am using update RU10 (which i havent uploaded yet ) and simmed the Atl/S.F. game. One for the ages. Randy Moss he still has it and got the 49'ers to ot. Matt Bryant missed 2 fg's in the 4th that could have iced it for the falcons. But behind mattie ice and micheal turner,and the double threat of probowl wr roddy white and dangerous julio jones the falcons prove to be too much.
