Trying to get this update done hoping to upload it before Christmas.

Thanks for all the well wishes/prayers. My wife is doing well considering what she has been thru. I'm working on a rom update,it's keeping me from losing it. Alot of stress right now so just bear with me guys.  Maybe be uploading update by weekend. 

drummer this rom is awesome! Every season I download a lot of roms & yours I honestly enjoy the most looking at the ratings as it keeps very "true" to the original rom in my opinion.

 

I'm going to pull out the old EPROM programmer & put this one on a cartridge & let ppl play at our live tournament in Connecticut (Dec 7th- Cuban Bowl VI)

I found 2 errors:

Houston Texans Right Guard Brandon Brooks

Oakland Raiders Right Guard Mike Brisiel

Both have same error:

31RP, where should be 69RP

like every other offensive player on your rom as well as the original rom.

I have fixed these and a few other errors. i am at parkridge medical center in chattanooga,tn. My wife had open heart surgery last night,they had to replace all her arteries goin to her heart,they were all blocked. They had to take her back into surgery at 5 am this morning because she was bleeding inside one of the grafts had came loose some and was letting her bleed out inside. she is stable at the moment,on a breathing machine,they have gave her 39 units of blood so far. so any of you who pray/whatever please send em this way cause she and i both need them. if any of you want to send wishes my cell # is 423-619-2999 the waiting room number is 423-493-7887. and if anyone wants to send donations my paypal link is in my signature. im working on a rom update,idk when i'll finish it. but i know i'll be here at least a week.  i want to thank meat for keeping in contact with me,even before this happened. JSTOUT i'll be looking for you on aim next few nights,i need a lil help before i release the update.  i dont have internet where i live cause it's to damn high to even get it installed,so thats why i haven't uploaded a update this year. Hey guys! Alot has been goin on,but i am still planning to release my rom by this weekend. It will be well worth the wait! it's been hectic just tryin to find the time to work on it.

Just out of curiosity do the sites that have the Madden ratings also have player photos and/or jersey numbers?

the madden sites don't knobbe. i use yahoo nfl depth charts, for faces n jerseys numbers.

Why are some black players white (ie Clarence Verdin for IND)? Why are names spelled wrong (ie. Kelvin "not Relvin" Martin (not 50 cent) for Dallas)? Were there two different versions of Tecmo Bowl? 1 for the US and 1 for Japan that had different players?

Yes there was one released in the US and a different roster release for japan. The other ?=No.

if you can convert the files u want to burn to dvd into a iso format, enable virtual drive in poweriso then mount the image in the virtual drive. hope this helps. by doin this you can watch the iso like a dvd disc but without having to burn it

ok here is the trick. burn the iso using dvd decrypter,burn at the slowest speed you have (i have never burnt coaster with this program), now here is the easy part. Take your ps2 apart, just take top off. now remove the dvd drive cover. take the disc holder out of the drive cover(you'll need it). now turn ps2 on with ps2 still apart,and navigate to your browser(where it shows your memory cards and type of disc in drive). Put a real PSX disc in the drive it will show it's a PSX disc,now with that showing take out the "real" PSX disc and insert your "backup".  Press X button and it will load! This trick also works on ps2 "backup" discs also.  Hope this helped!

Ok guys, i am goin to go ahead and post the rom. This rom has been a hell of a job to just get done. Special thanks to meat (for makin contact with jstout when i couldnt). And as always jstout. This as far as i know will be my last season doin a rom. I will keep this updated as much as possible,and release a super bowl version. All the same hacks as last year are in this one,as well as the usual graphic changes. Rosters are up to date as best i know. Yes trent richardson is on indy! Hope you guys enjoy this,cause this is the last season for me. Thanks to all here on the boards,tborg admins,elway,fatcheeleader,meat,philly,bruddog just to name a few. agreed MGK,ppl have no ideal on how much work is involved,and the hours and months it takes to get it done just for the season release. i have already started on 2014,so i got 1 month off,since the SB release.

i was just thinking about making a thread request for this very thing. i don't know alot about hex jstout has taught me some,if i know where to go and what numbers to put in i am good,not so if have to think about moving bytes and the such. so whatever i can do i'll help,because if this gets done,jstout wont have as much work (j does alot for community,and my rom yearly) and make my process of getting my yearly release out to the community,and fans faster. It would be nice to have a  ips database for the year that shows when u win superbowl! so i am all ears. Thx MGK for all the hard work on the site!
