  1. Is the TSB_sprite_limit_15 rom for AVS still available anywhere?
  2. I have 2 NES carts, TSB Unrivaled and TSB Unrivaled 2, which I purchased through the tecmobuilders site a few years back. I am trying to locate the corresponding ROM files, but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can find the Unrivaled roms?
  3. My apologies for resurrecting an old thread. I am no hex editing wizard by any means, but I was able to use Knobbe's guides and follow the same instructions to edit the Sega Genesis rom. The positions are different, but the same general structure applies. I am able to update player names and attributes and player pointers within a team just fine, but the issue I'm running into is with editing the team pointers. Whenever I change the starting position of a team's data, I update the pointer accordingly to the new starting position, but attempting to use that team in game or view their data in game causes the ROM to freeze on a black screen. Does anyone know if there are any other pointers that need to be updated when the starting position of a team's data changes? In the meantime, I have to get creative with any changes I make to ensure that a team's starting position doesn't change. That means if one name gets longer, another one needs to be made shorter to compensate. That isn't ideal, but it works for now. Hopefully there is just something simple I'm overlooking on the team data pointers. Thanks!
  4. I thought I had seen one before, but searching back through the forums I wasn't able to find it. If this ROM exists, does anyone have a link?
  5. I'm a little late in posting this response, but I would be very interested in the 32 team "Best of" rom.
  6. Here is a cart label that I had created thanks to sadikyo from the NintendoAge forums.
  7. That is awesome. If you could do this for Atari Jaguar (the best NBA Jam port in my opinion), I would bestow riches upon you!
  8. I totally agree with you Sargon, that's why I carted Test86 which had the opening day rosters. After opening day I say that a player is just as likely to get hurt in real life as he is during my current TSB season. I just like doing roster updates to give me something to do. I can PM you a copy with the opening day rosters if you like. Maybe keep a copy of Test86 available for download as well? If you want to PM it to me, that would be great too. Thanks!
  9. That is interesting. Although Clark is still considered a TE on most sites (ESPN, NFL, CBS, etc.), I do see that he is listed as a FB on the Bears depth chart. While I don't believe the Bears have used him in that role, your position still appears technically correct. In that case, the only thing wrong is the number... and the fact that it should probably still be a 1-back set.
  10. I like the way this ROM plays. My only complaint would be with the roster updates, since players like Matthew Stafford are non-existant due to injury. I prefer ROM's that keep injured players on the depth chart as if they were healthy. I consider any video game replay of a season to be an "alternate reality" where everyone should start healthy, but maybe that is just me!
  11. As a fan of the original TSB-style roms with no hacks, I'm enjoying this rom a lot. I do have one question/comment though. Why is Desmond Clark listed as WR on the Bears, starting at RB, with #37? That is wrong on all counts. Clark is a TE #88. The Bears should really probably be in a 1-back set.
  12. As far as I know, John Carney is still hoping to play this season (maybe if several kickers go down with injuries) and Junior Seau has not "officially" retired. Hopefully one of them catches on somewhere to let me feel young for one more season!
  13. Will this be available soon and will it still include the "traditional" rom in addition to the others? I look forward to seeing the whole package!
  14. I'm trying to follow cxrom's instructions and I want to change the quarter length range from 4-7 minutes to 5-8 minutes. It would appear that all I have to do is change the lower bound to 5, but I have been unable to figure out how to do that. I used a Hex editor and searched for all occurences of '04' in text and changed each one individually to '05', but none of them made any difference. I also attempted to trace the code, and I found this line... $BB60:69 04 ADC #$04 A:01 X:FB Y:00 P:nvUBdizc ...but that doesn't mean anything to me. Can anyone help me out? Edit: Ah ha, I figured it out... Using FCEUXD, I found that $BB60 corresponds to FB70, where the value 6904 was stored. I changed that to 6905 and it updated the quarter length range to 5-8 minutes. This is probably common knowledge to most of the people here, but I figured I would post my findings anyway just in case anyone else is struggling to do the same thing.
  15. Does anyone have, or would anyone be willing to create, a Tecmo Super Bowl 2009 cart label for NES? I'm not exactly the artistic type, so if anyone can help I would appreciate it!
