I hit up @SBlueman on Twitter and he directed me here. I've been out of the game for a long time. Just checking back in and downloaded Goji's ROM as it seem to be the most updated. I redid the Jags mini helmet back when they had that dumb half gold/half black helmet. Now that they went back to the all black I wanted to take a shot at updating the mini helmet. What does everyone think? I posted here hoping that if people felt it was an upgrade they can add it to the base rom or use it when they create their own updated roms. I posted comparison pictures. @gojiphen malor I switched the Jags tiles and reuploaded your rom here. I kind of like the fact that you can still salvage the play sometimes if the defense picks your play. If the offense turned to shit you would be done no matter what.

I went ahead and updated the Bucs mini helmet and large helmet facemasks colors for the upcoming 2014 year. They switched from black mask to chrome. I used the keithisgood ROM for the update. I also added the hacks from page 15. bucshelmetsupdatewithhacks.nes

The hacks would be from the rom buck just posted. The graphics would be of a ROM I modified of one of keithisgood's which I think is based off the same one buck posted for me. I redrew a few large helmets and didnt switch any of the pointers around. I know how to change the palettes so that won't be a problem.

Yea I use TLP too. I was just wondering if there was a way maybe in TSB TOOL to do it. If not I will just have to use TLP to switch up a few helmets. I know how to edit the graphics I was just hoping there was a way to just pull the graphics from one ROM to another that has the same graphics code. Just trying to save myself from finding the tiles in TLP aka being lazy. I kinda figured that was the case thanks though.

Thanks alot for this. One more question you might be able to help with. I thought I have seen it somewhere before but I have searched for a while now and haven't been able to find it anywhere on the forums. Is there a way to take only the graphics from one ROM and apply it to another that has the hacks and roster I want?

Is there a ROM that has all the updates together in one ROM? I know the "official" release ROM had an update but it doesnt seem to have the latest mini helmet update. http://db.tt/DyKJNWIW This one has the changes I made to the Jags mini helmet and changes to the team data screen color from green to teal. Is there a ROM that combines everything from the first post into one "master" ROM?

The more options the better in my opinion. I hope somebody gets the 2pt conversion working correctly one of these days.

I took some time to update the new Jaguars mini helmet from the one that was just posted. Let me know what you guys think. My modification is the one on the left. I also updated the Jaguars player data screen color. It was Jets green before for some reason. jaxminiupdate.zip

Jaguars look pretty good. The player data screen color is Jets green. It should be either Teal or Black. The playbook is pretty bad. MJD will get most of the carries but there is a FB run and a WR reverse in there as of now. Blaine Gabbert doesnt have long hair anymore.

Looking good. I see a few changes that need to be made. I personally think the teams that use black facemask that the colors should be swapped. The dark grey on the outside and the black on the inside. The black background makes the facemask look off and it looks better the other way. Dolphins need a white facemask. Bills need a grey facemask. Browns need grey facemask. Titans facemask needs to be Navy its Royal as of right now. Vikings need a black facemask. 49ers need grey facemask.

Yeah But A is for accurate! haha. Besides how many of you are Jags fans like me? I will be the only one to see the helmet anyways! They both look great though. I vote A.

The less gradient the closer it looks to the real thing. Start the fade from black to gold around the eye of the logo.

The one you posted before this one looks the best/closest.

Very little gradient. Compare the logo at the top to where the black reaches on the logo to the one you have posted it needs just a few more black pixels.

The graphic of the real helmet he posted is not correct. The helmets they wear dont have a smooth fade. It pretty much starts black in the front up until just around the ear hole then it goes to gold with very little gradient. I have the new helmet at home the most recent change he showed was really close. Maybe a few more black pixels towards the back before starting to change to gold and it will be perfect.

A few more pixels of black before you start the gradient but the gradient looks pretty good. You are amazing!
