What about just making a new program that lets you insert what you wanted, and it runs the play, using TSB graphics. Sure it wouldn't be true Tecmo, but it would look the same or very similar, and would still have it so you could run a 12-yard pass... then an incompletion. It would take alot of work, but much much less than it would to hack into Tecmo and change stuff around.

Marv Cook is a total stud, I just don't see him as a big enough factor being a TE. I personally don't like to switch players to different positions too often, and I tend to run alot more than I pass... especially with New Englands EXCELLENT QBs (sarcasm). Marv Cook is always my top receiver when I use the Pats, but like Kronic Virus said, he gts overshadowed by the running game.

I got to agree... I haven't played with New England much, but he is definitly a solid back. I also think he plays above what his stats show... Mosi has got a cooler name, but Stephens is the backbone of that offence.

I think this is a real cool idea. It might take some time to get through all ten seasons though. I know some people are probably still struggleing through the Tampa no offence season, or the just be New England challenge. But I would definitly be up to taking the Bears to the superbowl ten times. It would probably be too easy though, maybe edit the roms a little so the good teams are amazingly good, and when teams were bad, make them horribly terrible. Just an idea.

They had to have kicked a field goal, then on the kickoff they recovered a fumble for a TD. Or, they scored a TD, got the onside, then kicked a field goal, but that wouldn't happen unless it was the end of the game.

$1000 on a game would be nuts, thats also because I'm very poor. I don't think I could come out of a $1000 game alive. I would either kill myself after losing, or I would have some sort of heart attack or something while winning. I definitly would have to go with the Giants as my team, I've stated in a different thread why I think the Giants are the best team in Tecmo. And pooling our money for Big Red to play would be awesome.

Yea, I have seen sites that take old NES controllers and wire them to hook up to your computer for emulation use. I heard they work well too. There are also sites that show you how to do it yourself, if you are good with that electronic crap.

I think the only way kick-off and punt returns should count is if it is Mervyn that is doing the returning.

I'm doing this as well. I hope to do better than I did with the steelers. As of right now I'm undefeated, but I think I've only played three games. Two of them were amazing 4th quarter wins. I also am making sure I record everything about the season.

I totally agree. If you go up against the Steelers and your fastest RB has lower than 50 MS, your running game just doesn't exist for all practical purposes. Sometimes, you have to adapt to make victory more than a theoretical possibilityPractical purposes? Theoretical possibility? Uhhhh... you can just say "If you don't have a 50 MS RB, you're fucked." 28 carts would be amazing. I never really thought of having one for each team. I now have a new life goal. But I think you need 29... need one for MAN v MAN games too.

I did some trades to make a real good team using all origional players just traded. And I would also love to have a STL like league using all origional players.
