While I have not attended a Burning Mort I did go to the Tecmo Ryder Cup in ND and I have to say that the ND crew are the biggest bad-asses in all the tecmo-verse. I regret not attending this year.

Damn you, I was hoping to avenge my loss. My buddy is a high school teacher and has gotten 5 of his students into playing tecmo. I know for sure that one of them is playing tomorrow. So we might have 2 teeny-boppers representing.

I think they should change it up do music parody titles. Instead of playing a movie just play the artist's library.Like "The Wind Cries Barry" or "Lawrence, Guns, and Money." I'd be down to listening to Warren Zevon while I playing Tecmo.

Speaking of revenge I wouldn't be surprised if the rikster was strategically placed so that we could do battle for a third time. Both of the previous matches came out in my favor and both games were Bills/Giants matchups.

I woke up at 7 a.m. and just wanted to get the drive back to Nebraska over with so I never got to thank the North Dakota crew for putting on a great show. You guys did an amazing job. The surprise video cameo's of Mort and Knobbe, the trading cards, the venues, the food, everything was top notch. I hope everyone's travels back home were a safe and painless one.

Sobhi had an idea a while back to play a 28 man season in Vegas. Players would draft their teams in advance similar to the HSTL and then create a cartridge based on that draft. If you wanted to do a season in a weekend you'd have to make multiple cartridges but then you couldn't keep all the stats. That would be the best way to do it so someone doesn't get stuck with the Colts.

Alright, this heat that the state of Nebraska is taking on this board and the twitter-verse especially from sonofpatbeach, although justified, is unacceptable. Since I just recently discovered that my chances of going to the Tomaczak Bowl are in serious jeopardy I am throwing my hat back in the ring. If I am the only Nebraska citizen that will be attending here is what I am thinking... Plan A: I pay for the weekend services of 3 strippers and have them read Mort's tecmo 101 thread. I show up wearing a top hat, fur coat, and cane and me and my 3 examples of horrible Nebraska parenting lay waste to competition. Plan B: I humbly accept any invitation to any team that needs and extra player. Let it be known that your team will be acquiring a player this is now hell bent on not allowing sonofpatbeach and anyone associated with him win this event. I will do whatever it takes to see this happen even if that means using rufies, calling in bomb threats, or whatever. Since Plan A has some serious obstacles to overcome like the fact that strippers are illiterate and if my wife ever found out she would probably divorce me. So I am leaning towards Plan B right now. I have not played since May but it matters not because this Nebraska bashing has awaken the tecmo giant inside and he is very, very pissed off.

I talked to Moulds today and neither of us will be attending. So with no Nebraska representation it looks like another unofficial Tecmo Ryder Cup. Good luck to all and we'll see everyone at Tomzcak Bowl.

Which channel will this be airing on, ESPN or ESPN 2?

I'm flying in on Friday around 3:30. Anyone still have room for one more in their hotel room? My wife says I'm good at snuggling.

For Tecmo XI everyone should be administered a breathalyzer test. You must blow at least a .15 before you can start the 8 man double elimination round. Once single elimination round starts you have to blow a .20 and for the elite 8 you have to blow a .25. Or You could do a drunk tier system for team selection. The higher you BA is the better team you get to choose. So a guy who is really hammered (lets say has to blow a .30) gets to pick S.F. vs a guy who doesn't drink at all gets stuck with IND.

Orenga, your garbage knows no boundaries. I've showered 4 times since that game and can still smell the stench. Honestly though I made an idiotic decision to rush you at the end of the 1st half which resulted with a 85 yard Ellard quick route for 6. Just a killer play.

Only an hour drive from Omaha. I might be interested.
