  1. I would gladly send you guys the half finished CFL rom I was working on last year would probably be a great starting point. Refer to the Tecmo Grey Cup post to see whats done in it. I believe the 2004 schedule is in there with all CFL teams playing 18 games. The rest of the teams are blanked and play none in the season. Their ratings are 0'ed so the 2 division champs wouldn't win a playoff game. I would love to continue this work but i simply don't have the time. give me an e-mail address to send it too and i will asap matt
  2. Classic Teams are a possibility once im done the CFL teams. As of now almost all skill positions are done except for TE(SBs). Also Large Helmets have been prepared for the west division, check them out here http://www.geocities.com/dixonml2002/index.htm Cheers, Matt
  3. As promised My CFL helmet set, only done the western division so far, each helmet takes a fair bit of time. With only 9 teams it is easy to you lots of tiles per logo. Bigger leagues would require a greater juggling act of tile use im sure. http://www.geocities.com/dixonml2002/index.htm Matt
  4. Well I'm glad I could help but all credit for figuring stuff out goes to jstout, I just worked though his document, tile moving is very doable too takes a good bit of thinking though, but again as you get the hang of it its not too hard. I'll put up some of my CFL helmets sometime soon to show what can be done. Cheers, Matt
  5. dolphin, Using that chart of colors ID the colours you want to put in. the verticle is the first diget and the horizontal is the second diget. The first 3 bites are the helmet background color, the next 2 the colors of the facemask and the final 3 the colours of the logo. So some combination of 00 10 20 00 ff 06 30 ff you may need to rearange the order to get a more disireable result Matt
  6. Yeah sorry forgot to add the link. http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2988 I have a hex editor that works with XP called Hex Workshop, just do a search and you can find a functional one. Also to edit the palette follow the directions in the post i linked to not the nesticle palette editor as that will change anythign thats that colour. Cheers, Matt
  7. Dolphin, all the information you need for moving tiles around is in this post. It looks intimidating but really is fairly simple if you just work through it slowly. Good Luck
  8. I would really like to see this released it looks amazing. Would make my CFL Rom 100% better with real helmet. Any update konForce?
  9. The schedule is set up so the generic teams don't play a game during a season. The default NFL Playoff setup is still used, but only 2 generic teams make it, and 4 Canadian teams. It works out that 2nd CFL plays 3rd CFL in a wild card game(CFL Division Semi Final 1). And 4th plays a generic in the other one. Sim Hex values are set so the generic team will never win, as well all ratings have been zeroed for these teams, so the 4th team will almost always win. I've simulated 8 seasons and only once did a CFL team lose. in the second round the winner or 2-3 plays the other generic and will win and 4th plays 1st(CFL Division Semi #2). The winner of the 1-4 plays the winner of the 2-3(after they beat the generic) in the Conference Championship(CFL Divison Championship). THe winner advances to the grey cup. The same system works for both conferances. The biggest difference is the CFL allows 12 men. Most teams play a 4 reciever 2 back set, so for teams that pass alot the got the 4WR set and for runnign teams they got the 3WR 2RB set with the TE being a canadian slotback(usually used a bigger one). The cfl field is bigger (110yds by 65) with 20 yd endzones. I will make all the changes that have been discovered with FGs and kick returns. FGs will be 10 yds longer then the NFL standard though as CFL posts are on the goalline. Thanks for the interest. Matt
  10. The discovery of the ability to play 3-Down football in tecmo inspired me to make a CFL Rom. So far i havea completed: Rosters Small Helmets - Very Basic 2004 CFL schedule - 18 Games per team - 4 CFL teams make playoffs in each conference Hex Edit changes NFL to CFL AFC to WST NFC to EST Super Bowl to Grey Cup...ect Generic teams in 19 free spots To Do: Ratings (QBs done) Big Helments Other Graphical Changes (american flags on scoreboards) Anyways check out http://www.geocities.com/dixonml2002/ for some screenshots. I hope some people are interested in this, upon complete I would like to run a CFL tecmo league. Matt
