  1. Someone sounded the "Shiny signal". I'm still alive fellas

  2. Absolutely amazing man, gonna have to give this a try and let you know how it goes.
  3. Not at all true. Acekards, for instance, work in Slot 1 (the mian DS game card slot). I know this because the Acekard 2i was designed for DSi's, and DSi's have no Slot 2 (nor do they have the ability to run/emulate GBA games). You pop a microSD card into the Acekard gamecart and it'll run any DS roms contained on the SD card. Supposedly they've made Acekards work on 3DS's now as well, though I can't confirm myself. I've used my Acekard both on my DSi, and on my son's DS Lite (had to once use it to grab and flash newer firmware after a borked DSi firmware update). No problems at all. Wow!!! Dude I can't even tell you how long I spent looking for a NES emulator for the DS. I looked like 2-3 months ago and I went everywhere and every site (including GBAtemp.net and many similar sites) I went to said that the was no such thing and you needed a slot-2 flash cart. Hell nesDS may have came up and the sites were still telling me that nothing at all worked. Thank you for steering me in the right direction because I've wanted to play the NES Tecmo Super Bowl on there forever. I've heard good things about Acekard's but I've been very happy with my R4. I haven't had any problems with it and it plays every game I've ever downloaded and newer titles that have really good anti-piracy is easily overcome by using woodR4 and booting up the games that way. I play 90% of my games off my r4. I very rarely buy games for my DS because most games aren't worth more than $5 in my opinion and $30 for those games to me is a huge rip off. I also use my R4 as an MP3 player so it saves me from having to buy an ipod because I already have a 4GB system to do it on that sound great. I also have a program that can convert normal movie files (avi, mpg, mov and many more) and watch a movie if I really wanted to on my DS but I haven't done that yet cause I'm lazy I guess lol.
  4. I've wanted to do this since I got an R4 like 3 or 4 years ago so I looked everywhere and you can't with a slot-1 flash card. There is no nintendo emulator for the DS on a DS flashcart. The only way is to get one of the Gameboy Advance flash cartridges and put the nintendo emulator on that. So there is only emulation through slot-2 for nintendo DS.
  5. It's a stand alone game, I can PM it to you if you are interested in playing, it's actually a really good game.
  6. Mine did for a while, like 2007-2010 but then I started checking and cleaning out my spam box everyday and changed it and haven't had any problems since.
  7. Super old school, a post from me back when I was known as BoKnows34!
  8. I got an INT using me very first game against JAX. No one intercepts Dave Shinybehiny and gets away with it!
  9. What I think Rod was trying to say, and correct me if I'm wrong Rod, was to go the "even" teams route. You can make both the AFC and NFC teams identical at every position so no one has a clear advantage for a team. Here is the roster pulled from Gamefaq Leif Powers FAQ part 1/2. *Edit I didn't see that Rod made a post showing the best of each conference but this could also be some rosters to back up the pro bowl option even though I'm sure most wouldn't want AFC QB #1: Steve Beuerlein (Rai.) QB #2: Gary Kubiak (Den.) RB #1: James Brooks (Cin.) RB #2: Blair Thomas (Jets) RB #3: Chris Warren (Sea.) RB #4: S.Jennings (Cin.) WR #1: Haywood Jeffires (Hou.) WR #2: Stephone Paige (K.C.) WR #3: Mark Jackson (Den.) WR #4: Irving Fryar (N.E.) TE #1: Ozzie Newsome (Cle.) TE #2: Paul Green (Den.) C: Paul Fairchild (N.E.) G #1 (top): Gregg Rakoczy (Cle.) G #2 (bottom): Randy Dixon (Ind.) T #1 (top): Will Woolford (Buf.) T #2 (bottom): Jeff Criswell (Jets) DE #1: Doug Smith (Hou.) NT: Ron Stallworth (Jets) DE #2: Lee Williams (S.D.) LB #1: Kevin Walker (Cin.) LB #2: Ed Reynolds (N.E.) LB #3: Chris Singleton (N.E.) LB #4: Terry Wooden (Sea.) CB #1: Raymond Clayborn (Cle.) CB #2: Tim McKyer (Mia.) S #1: Brian Washington (Jets) S #2: Jarvis Williams (Mia.) K: Pete Stoyanovich (Mia.) 10. Here it is, I had a lot of fun playing it the few times that I actually did. I didn't get all the pop ups because I have no script on my browser (firefox) NBA Jam - Old School Edition (hacked by Mattrizzle)(U) [!].rar
  11. Well offensively I always just went for the best possible stats all around. While that was fun (at the time when I was a teenager) the one thing I absolutely loved doing was trying to get as many picks as I could possible. Basically all out pick fest and I would use Pittsburgh and punt everytime on offense just to try and add to my pick totals with God Woodson. To this day when I still play the one thing that keeps me playing is trying to get as many picks as possible.
  12. First: Dave Team: Jacksonville Jaguars (original rom teams) Tampa Bay Buccaneers Postion: Quarterback number 7/secondary position Free Safety number 24 Face: Face=0x3d aka the one for my TPC profile in sig Scrambling QB is the only thing I ask for attributes if that's not asking to much
  13. I'm going to give 5 I'd like to use Detroit Offense and Pittsburgh Defense (How original ) Phoenix Offense and Tampa Bay Defense (It's so weird writing Phoenix... isn't it?) Philadelphia Offense and Cincinnati Defense (Fulcher and QB Eagles, yep) Houston Offense and Chicago Defense (Finesse Offense with Smash mouth Defense) L.A. Rams Offense and Phoenix Defense (Because I'd like to see it) Edit: I'd play the shiz out of this if you made this original rom and rosters. I could technically do it myself but I'm to lazy to take the 30 minutes to do it
  14. I think that the CPU drones attack ball carrier better should just be an automatic. It would add just that much more difficulty when juking defenders as the routes they take to make tackles can be comical at times. As for what you guys have done... WOW, just WOW!!! Too good.
  15. Haha ya I saw this to just didn't say anything. I thought it might have been Buck showing his dislike for him or trying to make it show that he has bad hands or something. I mean T.O. probably is your favorite WR (probably not) but I kinda thought it was just a statement rating. well, the answer is that these newer hacked roms use the "Kick Returner MS" hack - that means that whoever is returning kicks will use their own MS instead of the Right Tackles MS (like the original TSB code). Unfortunately that usually makes it too easy to return kicks against COM. I've been going back and forth - trying to decide whether to use this hack - because during MAN v MAN, at least on my ROM, returning kicks is tough. But against COM, it can be easy to get mad yards - so, I usually sub in a slow return guy. But, I just screwed around with this and I think I've had enough of the easy kick returns - I'm going back to original TSB style (maybe have max Kick Returner MS at 44). Gotta experiment to find a with good range of values that will work for MAN and COM. Well as it is said in the title of this thread, isn't this the High-speed TSB. Like as you said you've tweaked how the values of RS/RP/MS translate onto the field. Would it be possible to either look a little more into the hack for kick returner MS or just into the coding for kick returns to get the speed to your liking and be similar to how the offense and defense's speed is used in your rom?
  16. Slightly disappointed that the Maine Black Bears didn't make the list. I'm not sure where they rank nationally this year but have for the past 4-5 seasons been a really fun team to watch. Spread offense and lot of yardage gained when they play. I'm always pulling for them to finally get over the hump and make it to the playoffs but in some seasons they are like 1 or 2 games from doing it. Other than that very good job with the mini helmets, I'll give this a test drive later tonight to see how it plays.
  17. I'm not gonna lie but that stuff looks delicious!!!
  18. That was my same reaction Man I can't wait till the beta testing is done so I can play this!!!
  19. Really impressed by how sharp the play art for the play select screen is. Very crisp and clean and really does look professional as if these plays were already from the original playbooks if not better. I've noticed in some of last years roms with new plays (maybe even yours, can't remember) you mostly knew where the play was going but the play art didn't fully show exactly where a run was going or intended to go. Wasn't a big deal but man I give you mad props on the work with that and am looking forward to trying this years version out.
  20. Count me in as a Hurricanes fan also! I'd love to see how they play in this release, should be alot of fun
