  1. Good idea... but do you think there would there be enough signatures for tecmo to even pay attention?
  2. I love Virtuanes but trying to use it's online play was slow and hiccupy for me. It was a DSL to DSL connection. I don't know if cable to cable would help. Sadly the only other emulator i've gotten to work besides nesticle is Jnes (via kaillera) and from what i've been told is there is no saving.
  3. Is this a reference to the SNES tecmo? I don't remember anything like this in the NES version.
  4. One of the biggest things i'd change would be the COM would actually pass the ball to the best open reciever. The game would be 10x more challenging if it would make better passes. That and it would be nice if when my teammates get beat they wouldn't keep diving at the ballcarrier.
  5. I found a link for a romhacking resource site and wanted to let everyone know about it. Thought someone would want to add TSB to the listing. http://www.datacrystal.org/
  6. If you want to rom go to: http://www.romreactor.net/
  7. Hey sois! Yeah, i'm still around... just haven't had much to contribute. And it appears i still don't since i can't find another emulator that will do netplay. I just can't go back to nesticle. Bruddog, is FCEUltra's netplay any good? I see that you can download the source for it now, maybe someone on the forum knows enough to edit it and make viable online play?
  8. Well i'm sorry for the wasted post then... at least i can play the game online without using nesticle.
  9. I've finally found another NES emulator that actually works online! A friend and i played tecmo super bowl (2004-2005 edition) online using Jnes. It's online play is supported through Kaillera. It worked very well with little slowdown. We played 2 full games but then had a desync in the third game. The only thing i didn't try to do was save state. We also tried VirtuaNES but it was too slow to play. And we got desynced early. Anyways Jnes is available at http://www.jabosoft.com/jnes/ (there's a link to 0.5.3 on the home page but 0.6.0 is in the messageboard.
  10. Bruddog, have you tried VirtuaNES? It has netplay but i've never tried it. http://virtuanes.s1.xrea.com:8080/vnes_dl.php
  11. This is just something little. The message board button at the top has the incorrect link on it, it links to http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/forum.php instead of http://www.tecmobowl.org/forum/index.php.
  12. On our LAN at work we started using RockNES (windows version) because FCE Ultra started de-syncing. RockNES has a adjustable buffer as well. Did you mess with all of the different options with VirtuaNES? I've been wanting to test it out over the internet but been too lazy.
  13. Maybe it's because you have an AMD instead of a pentium Serioulsy though, TSB Ultra worked for me, and if you want you can check out VirtuaNes by itself. It's truely the best NES emulator out now, and it looks like it even has online play (i've yet to use it though). http://virtuanes.s1.xrea.com:8080/
  14. You could try and use http://dosbox.sourceforge.net to emulate the DOS environment for Genecyst. I've used it with old abandonware and it works great on my Win2k machine. I've never attempted to use it for NES emulators though. Also i have a PIII 733Mhz and VitruaNes works fine. Don't know if XP is hogging your resources or maybe you have something else running...
  15. Yeah, i meant to move the AFC Central to the AFC West slot so it would fit the 5 teams. And then the same with the NFC. It would be nice for the AFC Central the most.
