  1. The top receiver will always do more JJs. Hence the discrepancy btw Slaughter and Langhorne.
  2. Tim Green is also the color man now on Battle Bots, taking over for Sean Salisbury after he went over to ESPN.
  3. The formula for getting Walsh in excellent is to run the ball with Fenerty, Mayes, and Hilliard on their sweep play behind Heyward. When I do nothing but run the ball and throw the occasional pass Walsh never takes a hit for most of the season and can usually carry the team in excellent condition down the playoff stretch.
  4. I think the number on his head (indicating that either the player or the computer is controlling him personally) will make a player faster. Or at least it always seems like the computer's player is the one with the best shot of running you down on a big run and his player is always going to be the farside DE.
  5. Just won the super bowl again with the Saints after feeling the old urges coming back due to this thread. Simmed through to the first meeting with the 9ers, whipped them, whipped them again in the last game of the season for the division title then outlasted them 30-27 in a great shootout, then pasted Miami 42-0 in the super bowl. I ran the ball so much during the regular season that Steve Walsh was in excellent through the playoffs and played out of his mind. Fennerty and Hilliard were team co-MVPs. Both had 100 yds rushing in the super bowl and Fennerty of course led the league in every kick returning category.
  6. Fenerty is God and even if he gets hurt Mayes is just as good.
  7. I really like the 5 wide receiver sets. Some of the other logic could use some work, such as pass protection in a 2 TE set, but overall I think it's a quality achievement.
  8. Though I hear a lot of people saying it is random, it appears as though you are on to something here... It shouldn't complicate anything Nameless, because that is a random change in PC, I think what we are both after is a controlled change. I tried this experiment to see if changes always occur at halftime. I was Cleveland, as usual, against the Jets and I had a 1st and 10 from my NY's 40 with :03 seconds on the clock before halftime. QB Browns was in excellent PC. Here is the pattern I tried using the save state: Throw TD - QB Browns stayed at excellent 10 out of 10 times THrow completion(no TD) - QB Browns stayed Excellent 8 out of 10 Throw incompletion - QB Browns stayed excellent 5 out of 10 Throw INT - QB Browns stayed excellent 2 out of 3 Sacked - QB Browns stayed excellent 3 out of 10 QB Run for TD - QB Browns stayed excellent 10 out 0f 10 QB run for first down - QB Browns stayed excellent 10 out 0f 10 QB run short of 1st down - QB Browns stayed excellent 6 out of 10 FG - QB Browns stayed excellent 8 out of 10 Pagel Throw TD - QB Browns stayed at excellent 1 out of 10 times Pagel Throw completion(no TD) - QB Browns stayed Excellent 10 out of 10 Pagel Throw incompletion - QB Browns stayed excellent 6 out of 10 Pagel Throw INT - QB Browns stayed excellent 2 out of 10 Pagel Sacked - QB Browns stayed excellent 5 out of 10 Pagel QB Run for TD - QB Browns stayed excellent 4 out 0f 10 Pagel QB run for first down - QB Browns stayed excellent 9 out 0f 10 Pagel QB run short of 1st down - QB Browns stayed excellent 3 out of 10 Pagel FG - QB Browns stayed excellent 4 out of 10 If there is a pattern it is that the starting QB stays at excellent when completing or running for the TD and does poorly if the backup is brought in and he does well. Conversely it seems the starter stays excellent if the backup fails. Now that I think about it this test is worthless because QB Browns was excellent and a pattern of raised PC cannot be calculated from my test. Shit...Screw it... ...I'm going camping.
  9. Rushing, receiving, everything. Their receivers stink, Hilliard and Heyward only work for you the first half of the season, after that, you have to find creative ways to get points.
  10. NO and Pitt both have strong return games though. Fenerty is always my leading scorer for NO.
  11. Just tried it and it didn't work. May depend on the emulator.
  12. Anyone interested in playing the 1AA version of the rose bowl hack?
