Ken Griffey Jr Baseball Logo Decompressor

Does anybody know where I can get the decompresser and the text file? I was gonna take a look at it and see if I could figure anything out.

    Mid-Season KGB Update

Replacing Pittsburgh with Milwaukee may actually work. As you know it is tough changing names because you are only alloted so much space for a team name. That being said, the words "Milwaukee" and "Brewers" should both fit in the space provided for "Pittsburgh" and "Pirates". Both teams uniforms are pretty plain (no pinstripes) so I don't think that would be a problem either. Putting Arizona in Milwaukee's spot shoudn't be a problem either (I'm guessing) since "Arizona" will fit in the space for Milwaukee. You would have to use "D'Backs" instead of "Diamondbacks" because the word "Diamondbacks" won't fit into "Brewers". The stadium picks won't match but Milwaukee's and Pittsburgh's are both incorrect anyway since they both had new stadiums built. It might actually work.

    Mid-Season KGB Update

Thanks, it should be the correct size and palette. I wasn't sure what color jstout needs the backgrounds to be so I made one with a white and one with a black. At first glance the Brewers logo looks to be real tough at 40x40 pixel.

I tried but it wouldn't work. It may be because I'm accessing it at work. Can I just send it to you?

I made some images for Texas, let me know where to email them to. If you don't like them or somebody has a better one I won't be offended.

I'm cool with you using graphics from any of my hacks.

    KGB Hacking Requests

I doubt I'll be able to do anything with the hitters.

    KGB Hacking Requests

I found where the facial hair is for the pitchers. I can change the guys with mustaches to chin hair, half goatee, whatever you want to call it. I also looked into changing the date at the beginning to 2007 but I can't find the numbers anywhere so it looks like a lost cause.

I think you have to change the tiles in an editor to get it to say 2007. If I remember right it only gives you 1994 because that was the date it was released. I would change the "1" to a "2" and the "4" to a "7" in tile pro(or whatever editor you use) and use "o" for the letter "0". After you've done that arrange the tile's accordingly with a hex editor to give you "2007". If I remember right the logos are compressed but you can find the date in there. I haven't looked at the game for a while. If I get a chance to look at it in the next few days I'll let you know but I don't think I'm going to get that chance. Anyways, you guys could probably find it pretty easily.

    KGB Hacking Requests

My problem was I never had the patience to finish a game. The NCAA 2001 was one of the few I finished and it burned me out. Would be nice if the Rangers logo could get updated in the game because I'm a Texas Rangers fan. No biggy, I'm sure it took some sweet time to update the Angels and Nationals. I'd offer my help for a few logos but I don't think making the logos is the toughest part (jstout did a fine job). I'm assuming putting the actual logos back into the code, or just finding the logos is the toughest part and I know nothing about that.

    KGB Hacking Requests

I just stumbled upon this site a few weeks ago. I wrote the KGB Editor a long time ago. I haven't played KGB or SNES roms in years until I but together an arcade cabinet a month ago and put SNES games on there. I can't believe the progress you guys have made on this rom. I was going to offer you my notes but you guys have surpassed what I did. I have a bunch of papers(if I can find them) with scribled information about the uniforms but its nothing you guys don't already know. You are running into a lot of the problems I ran into except when I get to a sticking point I just quit. I thought editing the logos was an impossible task but you guys have proved that wrong. I always assumed compressed graphics were impossible to edit. The uniforms are tough because of the some of the data being a half bite or being used for two different teams, as you already know. When I found your site a few weeks ago I looked to see if I could find the source code for KGB Editor but I cannot. I've had a computer crash in the past few years and I'm sure it was lost in that. Anyway, I just wanted to say nice work. I'm anxious to see the final result. My email is the same as you previously thought. Back when you tried to contact me I didn't check it very much but I check it daily now. I've been out of rom hacking for a few years because I have other interests and little spare time but it's nice to see that somebody still uses the program I made. If I come across the source code I'll let you know. If anybody knows VB I wouldn't be opposed to handing the source code off to them. John -JG Games

    Baseball Advance GBA Rom modification?

I've been looking into baseball advance since I got a GBA. It's a pretty cool game. I can edit some of the graphics and I may program an editor for it. I can't seem to find where to edit the AVG, HR, SB and RBI's though. If I can figure that out, I'll probably create an editor. Does anyone have a manual for this game. What do the colored arrows stand for for each hitter in the lineup screen. thanks.

    Coach K college basketball

Coach K would be cool. I looked into it a long time ago and couldn't figure out how to hack it. It would probably be easy to change the players names and possibly stats but if I remember right I had a hard time trying to change the guys numbers on their uni's. Also I'm pretty sure the graphics are compressed much like most EA Sports title logo's. Which means you can't hack them. I could be wrong but if you look around there aren't too many EA sports titles that have been hacked. I made an EA NHL editor for SNES but all it could do was change uniform colors and players names.

I just bought a GameBoy SP and a Flash Card. I haven't had much time to mess with it yet but TSB and Pocket Nes will definitely be on there. Thanks for the info about GBA
