1. Same thing with Easy interceptions happened on the Game Boy version of Tecmo Bowl as well.
2. See that? I really used an authentic Japanese import remodeled Famicom system to play the Japanese Tecmo Bowl cartridge, officially and with good picture and sound through a legit Nintendo Gamecube Stereo AV Cable. S-Video Cables does NOT work on a legit remodeled Famicom system HVC-101 model.
3. There isn't any differences in the Japanese NES Tecmo Super Bowl, just that the title screen doesn't have "Licensed by Nintendo" on it.
4. The redesigned model of my Famicom system that I was talking about is the official one manufactured by Nintendo Co., Ltd. in Japan from 1993 to 2003 where the model number is HVC-101, and it only plays Famicom game cartridges and it can use the Famicom Disk System attachment that normally doesn't work on Famiclones (Yobo FC systems, Messiah NEX). The reason why I own this official Nintendo Famicom system is because some games don't work on pirated systems. My Famicom looks like this:
5. I do have the Japanese NES version of Tecmo Bowl, still in its original box and instructions. I usually play it on my official Famicom system, the redesigned model.
6. Tecmo Bowl Beta Version (NES) also had spelling errors such as OFFENCE instead of Offense.
7. I just found it yesterday. There's a difference between the Beta and US version. The Beta version of Tecmo Bowl has a different title screen, the copyright is 1988 Tecmo instead of 1989 Tecmo. Here's the screenshot for it:
