  1. Hey tecmo guys, the forums are still running strong at : http://homeiswhere.phpzilla.net , The "hacking guide" has been more of a reference guide, with some things explained, but eventually I will release a better hacking guide, with various addresses for hacks (quarters length, point amounts, etc). There are some of these things in the Madden Guide, but it is large amounts of information, which won't make sense until you dive into hacking EA sports roms. You can find a lot more hacking info for EA sports roms at nhl94.com forums, which applies to madden and bill walsh football. The most recent roms are reposted in a single link until I get things sorted out better. If anyone wants hacking help, you can reach me on AIM at deadmeowSega, or at the forums, its very easy once you get started. Jeff
  2. I have ported my hacked edition of Sega Genesis Madden 2007 over to the Joe Montana rom. Its 99% done, and the team ratings are nearly identical to the Madden2007 player ratings. If you download the Madden2007 rom set, it includes player ratings cards which apply to the Joe Montana 2007 as well. http://geocities.com/madden91sports/
  3. The release of the Madden 2007 Sega Genesis ROM created the natural question of will there be a league? We are seriously trying to put a league together. _We still need people to sign up_. The plan is to kickoff the league this Super Bowl Sunday with a draft, and possibly the first league matchup. I am planning on doing a NFC league for appx 6 weeks, followed by an AFC league for 6 weeks, with the champions playing, or something along those lines. All info for the Madden 2007 ROM and League can be found on the Classic Genesis Sports website. http://www.geocities.com/madden91sports/ I am currently updating the Madden2007 roms and cleaning up some things I didn't have done on the original release. I am also working on Joe Montana BCS 2009 College Football(montana1 engine). After that I plan to start work on the next in the Madden series.
  4. I am hanging in there thanks! Anyone who is interested in a Sega Genesis Madden 2007 League, you can contact me at [email protected] or deadmeow1334 on AIM. If you still haven't checked out the rom, it is a classic with all 32 teams and complete ratings. Classic Genesis Sports http://www.geocities.com/madden91sports/
  5. It was supposed to be released at the same time as the Madden 2007 for the PC and Game boxes, but it was delayed after a Windows crash wiped it, and my poor health made it take even longer, but its done, and I have released it, warts and all. Madden 2007 is a zip file of 6 roms, which allow each division to play each division. The package includes a Madden hacking guide I have written, and full ratings for all 32 teams, in classic Madden fashion. There are some nice suprises on the rom, and some things I didn't get to do, but I feared if it wasn't released now, it wouldn't get released. I hope you guys enjoy it! 6. An editor for TSNBA would be cool. We had a league in the old days, http://madden91.com/tnba.htm , I don't have the league page linked to the home page anymore, but I have been thinking of reviving the Tecmo Super NBA League. That was a fun game.
  7. If anyone wants to borrow stats from my any of my CFL roms, they are welcome. I have hacked Madden91, Madden92, and Bill Walsh into CFL roms, complete with 3 downs. Since there is no way to score a rouge, or single, I made safetys 1 pt. In the Madden91 and Madden92 hacks, I used teams from the 1994-1995 era which includes a few American teams that exisited in the CFL for a very short time. The teams included in the M91/92 editions are Calgary, British Columbia, Edmonton, Saskatchewan, Ottawa, Hamilton, Winnipeg, Memphis, Birmingham, Shreveport, Las Vegas, Sacramento, San Antonio, Baltimore, Montreal'82, and the expansion Miami Manatees (Madden91 edition only) that never came to be. The Bill Walsh edition contains the 1998 Canadian teams, and the 1994-95 American teams. More information about the roms is available at the Classic Genesis Sports Forums which you can access through the homepage at http://madden91.com
  8. In the old days we played tons of the original NES Tecmo Bowl. We stopped playing Tecmo Bowl once we discovered what we called the "set plays", where if you timed a certain pass right (say a curl), the DB would always be pushed away by a magical force, and the WR would catch it. Did you other longtime Tecmo players discover that too? And did you stop playing? After that we stopped playing Tecmo Bowl, but the first Sega Genesis Madden came not too long after, and we started playing Madden91, then NHL, etc... We tried to play Tecmo Superbowl, but it is just not the same as the original Tecmo.
