why everyone gotta bash Dilfer? Bastids! Dilfer was a friggin pimp, who else punched John Randle in the head for a late hit? The whole reason he gets crapped on is cuz first he was coached by Sam Wyche (ugh) and then had no WRs, yeah the Culverhouses thought theyd be smart bringin in Alvin Harper.....that guy wouldnt catch the ball unless it was a high jump or a dive...you hit him in the #s and he dropped it. As well as Courtney Hawkins, Lawrence Dawsey, Willie Green....hell the only guy who could catch was Jackie Harris who missed probably like 65% of his games in Tampa. Had Dilfer had true WRs, he woulda carried Tampa to many SB wins. As it was who aired the ball out in the SB with Baltimore....he was on fire that day! Now it would be possible to compare Wade Wilson to ohhhhh Steve DeBerg (during his Tampa reign)

Doug Williams had skills before becoming a Redskin. He took an awful Bucs team within 3 yrs (mind you they lost their first season and a half worth of games first) to the NFC Championship. Then he aired it out that year in Washington.

well i dunno how occasional my passing was Walsh threw 215 times. Dalton Hilliard (my leading rusher) ran 133 times Heyward ran 3 times.

oh i wasnt tossin deep balls to Martin....the 2 shotgun passes where the bottom WR cuts inside, and the TE goes deep along the bottom sideline.....thats the JJs I'm talkin bout. short 10-15 yd passes. tho in the game and a half Walsh was hurt for, Fourcade had 4 TDs and 0 INT. btw - only one sack against PHX. (adjusted playbooks of course) otherwise I coulda counted on the rollout

57 with 1 game to go.....tho ive managed to somehow lose 3 games. Last one to Raiders who picked Walsh 5 times......dont JJ to Eric Martin late in the season lol.

3 games left to play and Vaughan has 49 sacks....thats even a Vaughan Johnson high for me.

not that i lost....but im winnin 7-6...Steve Walsh drops back.....throws up a JJ to Eric Martin...Scott Case's crackas ass comes swooping in to make the JJ INT, and doing his best David Fulcher impersonation....takes it in for the TD, knocking down 10 of my Saints Offensive players along the way. I have very VERY seldom if ever gotten an INT with Scott Case. Bastid.

Best sacker on the Saints? (non-lurchable players of course) Rickey Jackasson = too slow Pat Swilling = not in best spot Sam Mills = too slow anyone else think the Saints D got shafted on tecmo? in 7 games I've only allowed 93 pts but damn, if they had any speed on D think of the damage I coulda done...93 pts is very very average.

Diddy you oughta talk to Hock about some of mine and his games...he really gets the shaft when we play. I'm like 10-1 all time vs him, cuz of stuff like a GTL(?) game we played and I was Tampa we were in OT he toosed up a bomb and caught it and was runnin to the endzone for the win, and one of my guys caught him at the 1 inch line....and he fumbled...I got it and went for the game winning TD. I KNOW he spoke ill of the Tecmo Gods (Big Red) on that one... but it happens every time we play its funny lol

lol the other 2 are just as bad..Gaston Green, Steve Smith....no way...I liked Nick Bell and McCallum (too bad Norton ended McCallums career...he wasnt half bad)

well the raiders RBs do suck, not to mention im runnin with Nick Bell (I loved that guy back in the day, him and Marinovich...and i aint even a Raider fan)

TODD MARINOVICH IS A BIG BAD BOOTY DADDY! ok not a great 1st game, but he went 15-20 for 260 yds and hooked up with Lofton 9 times for 160 yds and 2 TDs. He threw 6TD, 0 INT in the game in a 56-0 thrashing of the Vikes. Nick Bell ran for 59 and a TD...running is a bit easier on SNES version as far as the eye can see after this game on ZSNES.

anyone have a rom where you can see the playbooks in the team data section? I go to change the playbook and I dont see em there...they show up in the game, but NOT in Team Data.....makes it kinda hard to edit my playbook... if anyone has the original TSB 1 rom for SNES (and the playbooks are visible in team data) lemme know...thanx Funk

i just played week 3, and replaced Hoss with Marinovich (Drug Abuser Extraordinaire...tho not LT level) and even in Bad Marinovich went for 300+ yds tossin bombs all day to Horton and Brown.... anyone else find running hard on this version of TSB? Nick Bell averaging 6 carries and 30 yds a game

damn McGuire broke off a 72 yd TD run on me in TSB1 on the Sega Gen. I jacked him up for a fumble, he picked it up and boom! outran everybody to the endzone. I just wanted to post that cuz it was embarassing. McGuire sucks lol

I'm thinking Bob Nelson just got a Superbowl MVP. I was down 19-14 to Cincy in the SB...(all cuz of Majik bein in BAD and throwin 2 JJ ints to no, not David Fulcher, they went to Lewis Billups....and my OL playin like 3rd grade school girls) anyway we drove to start the 4th to make it 19-14 but ate up 4 min's of clock. Harold Green (yes we took Stanford Jennings leg and broke it off and handed it to Bengals Coach Sam Wyche as a souvenier (sp?) and Harold was the KR) got the kickoff with exactly 1 minute left. he returned it like 30 some yards, and 34 seconds to go. Well Boomer called for a shotgun pass, to avoid the Bob Nelson rush (no lurch, Bob ran around the outside of the OL before making contact all season, except shotgun passes when he just used his 4.1 speed in the 40 to blow past the Center. Bob came up and Boomer got the throw off, but the throw was behind James Brooks, Brooks backpeddaled caught it, just as Bob, who just jetted 15 yds unblocked from Boomer to Brooks, grappled his monkey-ass and Mark "Dropkick" Murphy in EXCELLENT punched the ball out, Bob recovered and ran it to the Bengals 5 with 15 seconds to go.....from there next play Majik Man redeemed all his crappy playin and ran in the TD. It was a very cool play Anyone else have any special Bob "Full" Nelson Moments?

wow! i never heard anyone else ever use the word negromancer before. Thats cool, cuz I have before. Jerry would definately qualify as a negromancer.
