  1. Kick & Punt ability is determined by the speed of one of your O-lineman ... I can't remember which one though ... Somebody needs to come and add on to my post ...
  2. I'm doing this to see if my calculations are fair SO FAR. I think I'm being pretty fair but I just need the outside worlds opinion to make sure I'm giving them a fair shake, and not overrating. Drew Blesdsoe RS 25 RP 69 MS 6 HP 13 PS 63 PC 31 PA 44 PB 50 Eric Moulds RS 31 RP 69 MS 44 HP 13 BC 50 RC 63 Lee Evans RS 31 RP 69 MS 31 HP 13 BC 50 RC 50 Josh Reed RS 25 RP 69 MS 25 HP 13 BC 50 RC 50 Travis Henry RS 38 RP 69 MS 50 HP 38 BC 50 RC 38 Willis Mcgahee RS 44 RP 69 MS 44 HP 31 BC 50 RC 25 And I plan on making the O-line suck but I can't make them suck that bad, cause they have decent Run blocking. That's why I made Bledsoe suck so bad, I think I did pretty good. I like to use the traditional TSB style of doing attributes. Back in the day I would of rated Moulds RS 44 RP 69 MS 56 HP 25 BC 81 RC 75 Back when he had something anyways. So with the way his stats are now he would be like that when in excellent, cept his Ball Control cause he fumbles too much to be an 81 now.
  3. The Fav play late in the season is the Shotgun X Drive cause I can almost always get it to the FB. The best strategy is ... "Throw It Up"
  4. Marvin Allen is useless as a RB but he comes up big! I'm telling ya, in the playoffs when I'm getting rushed and all hell breaks lose, the offense fall apart etc. it's always Allen & Dykes that come up big for me. Plus Marvin Allen breaks Stephens lose a lot for me. Every season I give him my little "Nameless Hero" award cause he does all the little things that the rest of the team is too stupid to do. Marv Cook is the man & all I just don't use him as the center of the O. He usually leads the team in receptions but I usually focus on the running game when I'm the Pats, so he gets overshadowed. I've had him make some pretty amazing catches though on that one split back play, where he goes deep over the middle. Plus, he seems to run like Bo Jackson once or twice a season, which is always cool. Don't get me started on the D, Tippett & Lippett own. I love the Tecmo Patriots all of a sudden, I dunno why. I hate the Patriots with a passion in real life, but have nothing but love for them in Tecmo. Coolest thing was when I knocked Talley (& his WAY too low HP) on his ass with Stephens. I love my Bills but that felt good for some reason.
  5. Mosi has come in for me before and done well, but he seems to fumble a lot with me. Stephens fumbles 2-3 times a year, but besides that he's always breakin too many tackles for his stats & he seems to rip the D in the later on that single-back pitch to the left. Stephens > Mosi
  6. He's now officially my favorite RB in the game. I just played a season with the Pats. He had 1800 yards rushing, abut 12 yards a carry. I dunno what happened, but he just kept getting into so many situations where 1 defender would try to tackle, he'd break it, another 1 defender would come, he'd break that etc. He had a 200 yard game toward the end of the season ... I've never had him play so well before. And I've played a lot of seasons with the Pats, and I always feed him the ball, but he never even came close to this before. Now I just gotta play the playoffs to see if he can continue. And it's good to be back, I'm suprised my UserName is still here. It said last time I logged in was May of 03 . And my Bills suck this year.
  7. The best tandem ever was Kenneth Davis & Don Beebe ... Anyways, I voted for my man Bailey ...
  8. You guys are crackin me up, but I agree. Never start over, it's just not right people. It ain't right ...
  9. Wow, there's Gary Anderson followers here too? I thought my uncle was the only one ...
  10. I like playing seasons vs. the cpu with the default playbooks, but that's just me. I don't like switching up the RB's & WR's though, it's just not right ...
  11. LMAO! That is such a cool idea ... really. I'm gonna start a season with the Eagles and make them go 0-0-16. This is sweet ...
  12. I don't like doing it, but I have done it before. I rather stick with players at their original positions.
  13. Call me an idiot, but I didn't know you could just hold down the keyboard ... I gotta try that ...
  14. Don't give Eric any credit ... the man has worse hands then Heath Sherman. I like the Browns, but Metcalf pisses me off. He almost always be 2nd in catches, but he could easily be #1 if he would not ... fumble ... I love the Kosar/Slaughter connection though. Big fan of that ...
  15. I'll have to go with the G-men. When you have a hard-hitting defense wearing Black & Blue, it's just hard not to like them.
  16. I rather play with the Bucs then the Vikings, at least offense wise. The OL does really blow, but Teste's 31 MS makes it easy to avoid the rush, and you can make stuff happen. Gary Anderson & Corn-Cobb are an awesone tandem. When Cobb's blocking for ya, who needs an O-line. You can destroy teams with Cobb alone at the start of the season. Then you have a good WR tandem & a decent TE. I forgot his name, but I prefer the back-up TE of Tampa over Hall. Hall is always in Bad, at least for me anyways ... Gary Anderson is the one who makes those crazy catches for me.
  17. I don't throw downfield much with the Eagles. I play the safe offense with them. Throw the dump off, if nobody is open then run with QB. I end up with a 90% Comp.% every season with them cause I take absolutely 0 risks passing wise, so I dunno how good the Eagle wideouts are really. Can't forget about Tommy Kane. He is the MAN.
  18. There are probably many women that would enjoy TSB, a lot them have never heard of it though. I play a lot of sport games with my friend Tyrone's sister Ebony, so she would probably like TSB. She loves the Giants, so I don't see why not. My mom used to play TSB when I first got it, same with my Aunt. My sister played a lot of TSB for SNES with me as well. Can't really think of anybody else ...
  19. lol, I thought you were talking about TSB ... shoulda read more. I was wondering why you said 'since nobody else is making one'. Damn, I really need to pay attention ...
  20. Keith Jackson is the best player on the offense if you don't count QB Eagles. Byars & Jackson are two superb players, but rarely get the credit they deserve.
  21. Leave the gameplay alone, first of all. I'd like to have more stats recorded (Tackles would be nice) and a Franchise Mode would be cool. In TSB3 I'm pretty sure there is a record book type of feature that keeps track of you season best's, that would be nice. Playoff stats too ... I'm a stat nut, I'd like for there to be more stats. The gameplay shouldn't be changed though, it's great the way it is.
