A yearly 32 team, updated graphics rom would be optimal IMO. Keep it playing true to form. I can help with Cinci rosters in any event. Reach out to me cause I forget to come here a lot.

Andy Dalton is #14 Jerome Simpson is the starter, not Andre Caldwell. Great job on the rom!

TSB Tool Supreme Feature Request: Attribute Comparison Grid
sois replied to sois's topic in Editors/Emulation
Is this still required: BUF QB1 GETS MESSED UP AFTER FIRST APPLY - RE-OPEN AND REAPPLY - DON’T FORGET TO EDIT SIM DATA! It gave me an error about an orphaned row. Maybe it's fixed now? -
TSB Tool Supreme Feature Request: Attribute Comparison Grid

Bodom, I am blown away by how awesome this is. Amazing! One question, on the Team Data tab, I see there are letters among the number ranks. On the Tool itself, it goes 1-15. What is the reason for this? Can I use 1-15 on the spreadsheet? -
TSB Tool Supreme Feature Request: Attribute Comparison Grid
sois posted a topic in Editors/Emulation
Hi guys, I don't know if this is cool to post a feature request, but I think this might be an awesome element that might not be too hard to program. Would it be possible to have a section of checkboxes listing all of the positions and then a drop down for the stat you wish to compare? This way you could select, for example, RS for all DL and LB. It would have a grid with the player's name, team and RS each in a column, sorted descending and editable. That way you can compare players easily against each other. Then maybe a table to the right of the grid of how many 75, 69, 63... etc RS guys you have, what % of the rom that is, how many 75, 69, 63 ... etc RS guys the original had and what % of the rom that was. Maybe have an option to select which rom you would like to use as your benchmark. I guess you could make the whole benchmark rom optional as well, just in case some people want to just wing it with their own values. I like the feel of the original rom so much, I don't trust my own rating abilities. But if I had a distribution curve to use as a model, I could easily make the game play correctly. Also, this would help in seeing who you ranked higher than others. Thanks! -
I don't like punching myself in the face. I did it though, the program is super smart. The only one it got confused with was the last name with a space. so Norm Van Brocklin turned into norm van BROCKLIN. It accepted the Hyphen but put in a weird symbol. Probably not a good idea to use hyphens. It didn't like the underscore either. Maybe a period? It does the job but looks dumb. Is there any characters which Tecmo displays as blank (other than a space)? I dunno.

How does the tool work with extra long names? What about punctuation? TJ versus T.J? Jones Drew versus Jones-Drew Does the first LAST name style mean anything? Spaces in name? Do they affect anything? Norm Van Brocklin versus Norm VanBrocklin Thanks!

I know Drummer's rom has the 32 teams and the correct 4-3 and 3-4 formations for each NFL team. I always wonder how to answer the "correct offensive formations" question because TSB is so limited and can you really match them up right? I love my playbooks in my roms and try to make them close to the NFL teams but there's only so much you can really do. My goal is always to create balance and eliminate any pre-snap reads or tells so you have to play straight up. I eliminate motions, reverses, and all the garbage plays. The only issue I see is the RB2/FB/WR usage. For example, if you use the Packers and you John Kuhn in as fullback, you would have him on the field running long pass routes in the Packers playbook instead of having Jordy Nelson on the field in that spot. I guess if I was building a rom, I would build the playbook based on the offensive formation.

Hi guys, I've gotten a one player Tecmo itch and was wondering if this rom existed. I see lots of parts exist, but I was wondering if the whole thing was in existence somewhere: 32 team rom correct offensive formations for each team correct 4-3 versus 3-4 defense for each team Is there an editor that does that? Sorry for the lame questions, I've been on the sidelines for a long time

Can't switch playbooks online. I got thumped using a foreign playbook with a ton of play actions. I also got nose tackled dived. Oh cheeze, how I forget you exist when I don't play dudes online. -
