  1. What's up man remember me?

  2. Just a special ending. TSB III has both though.
  3. Look what I just bought! The Tecmo Bo Jackson is on the tounge. Stylin'! http://www.eastbay.com/product/model:10 ... u=59696101
  4. Good. There will never be another true Tecmo unless they have at least the NFLPA liscense. Peace.
  5. Mine is, 5456-2989-7563. I added all of yours. Hope to get some games in.
  6. How about a list with the names of the people that actually wait for you to pick your D man?
  7. In all reality, you gotta wonder what kind of budget Tecmo allowed on a franchise that hasn't reared its head for over a decade. Perhaps they did the best that they could with the limitations they were stuck with. I'd like to see how Phelps would have done if he somehow severed off a hand a week prior to the Olympics. I agree with Tupa. Tecmo doesn't owe us shit, and we're pretty fortunate they finally decided to do at least something. Main points again: What exactly did everyone expect, and take this version for what it is. Good grief.
  8. You guys are being dorks. For one thing, the game hasn't been out even 2 weeks. That $15 price on Amazon was a weekend special, and it is now back at its regular price. I just don't get what all the complaining is about. It's like you expected this DS version to be the be all, end all version of the game, when it's basically portable version of the SNES TSB with some extra stuff added in. Point blank, it plays like a Tecmo Bowl game should, and I'd say the level of customization and the super abilities are nice and set it apart from every version up to this point. I guess the PSX version was customizable, but need I remind you of the gameplay? I will say that there's a few errors in the game, such as "tales" vs. "tails" and also the names and proper colored down/yard arrow not fliping over when there's a side change. I will admit that they should have had the smarts to have some of the fans be random testers for the game, but even so, those small errors can be learned from and I don't think they ruin what is good about the game. "The sky is falling! The sky is falling!" Give me a fucking break, man.
  9. Just wordering if someone could explain the meaning of the ogange and blue that appear on the overall team strength bars and the proportions they represent. Many thanks.
  10. Nah, New Coke tasted too much like Pepsi. Too damn sweet. Anyways, I'm just judging it for what it is, not what it could have been. It's a fun, playable handheld version of Tecmo Bowl with it's own unique identity. I'd be much more disappointed if the Wii version ends up being a turd. Besides, the ROMS and online leagues wouldn't have been replaced even if this had every single thing that every single person wanted.
  11. Nothing like scoring a TD as you score a "touch down", hey fellas? Beats Ranger Rick and Time, that's for sure. Feel free to discuss...
  12. Hey, man, I said they did a fine job, not an excellent job. I was just trying to point out that it will in fact sell, and how well, who knows? I do know there are a lot of football fans the world over, and that the NFL is the biggest, but not the only show in town. I can see the appeal of making college, retro and even high school rosters. I also believe we will see a new generation of Tecmo Bowl fans, but overall it seems as if this one's for us. Also, gamers have alot more hardware options than back in the day with the NES. That's what made those 1st two such big hits back in the day. It will be interesting to see how things shape up on the Wii project. That will be the real litmus test on where the overall future of the Bowl resides.
  13. Bullshit! Dude, if it matters to you that much, keep playing the old versions. I also imagine John Madden would like to meet you behind the bleachers for a steamy makeout session, cause you sure seem like his type. Anyways, as I've been playing around with Kickoff on my deathbed today, I like it more and more. I will conceed that the menus and such will take some getting used to, but it really is a great game. Don't listen to these types, Tecmo. Polygon Magic did a fine job. Kudos to you! They could include a $100 bill in the box, and people would find something about that to bitch about too, I'm sure.
