  1. this sculling character isn't even a member of the league, never met him my co-commish is mike I made the schedule, and update all the stats
  2. First, Major Applewhite (with the obvious exception of Michael Vick, the greatest football player ever) is the greatest football player ever. Second, http://tcaa.puretecmo.com not really what you're looking for as we're only running with 16 teams and people pick whoever they want so it's not even the 16 best teams me = sean = tcaa commish
  3. This BigRed guy is hilarious, I love it. You guys are stupid for taking him seriously.
  4. I actually think the reason why this index finger method was employed in track and field, and also in the infamous mortal kombat 1 endurance tests where you have to break wood, ruby, diamond, etc. is because you need to press two buttons back and forth, and using your middle and index fingers for this is way better than just a thumb. But then they try to apply it with just one finger on just the a button in tecmo, and it doesn't work as well.
  5. Yeah holding down a keyboard button does nothing. I use a controller and find that I can stay with anybody else in online tecmo. Ranatoro beats more than half the time, but it's not impossible for me to win a grapple. I think that most of the ELITE grapplers are gamepad guys, whereas it is much easier to get to like the 95th percentile of grappling speed using the keyboard. If you want 98-100th percentile you've got to go gamepad though. P.S. When I grapple with a gamepad, not just my casual grapple, my Warren Moon trying to throw off Lawrence Taylor controlled by Ranatoro grapple, I am moving my whole right arm from shoulder down, in one big arm movement pressing the button. I find this way faster than pressing it with your thumb. I also have to hold the controller very close to my hip, and it's almost kind of an involuntary thing once I get it going, it's hard to start or stop fast but when I get in rhythm my arm just goes, and I can really rip off some grapples. Anyways with this method I've been told that from behind it looks like I'm pleasuring myself. Also, does anybody use the method of pressing the button with their index finger, I've seen a lot of my friends defeat me using this in Track and Field, but not in tecmo for some reason.
  6. All I have to say is why is this idiot MAN player trying to kick the FG with 4 seconds left when he's winning? He's winning, so he doesn't need the points, and if his sole purpose was to burn clock why not run backwards or punt?
  7. If I'm not mistaken, I think the N64 released a new Excite Bike game that had a new 3d style bmx shit game on it, and also an exact replica of the old NES Excite Bike game. However, I am happy with playing on the NES console and on my emulators, I don't know if I would necessarily pay $40 or $50 just so I could play 1991 temco super bowl on my Xbox. I want the exact same game, execpt add things like slots for all the NFL teams, updated helmet graphics, and like a franchise mode, maybe some minor in-game changes. I don't know if this will ever happen, though. If it did it would be part of a new game, because they're not going to release a game in itself on any major platform that is just 8-bit stuff. Even if they wanted to try to release an exact copy of the NES TSB on the same disc as a next-gen TSB, a la Excitebike, I don't know if they could because they could run into player license problems, no?
  8. You have to go with Arizona, but not because of their uniform per say, but because they have dark black african american players. Much more intimidating than chocolate-black or milk-chocolate-black african american players.
  9. Looks like I might have to go to college in Lincoln just for this action
  10. Me and my friends used to throw games onto the grass and/or concrete if it was windy from the second story of his house when they wouldn't work. They usually worked after this. Also, one time when his NES wouldn't work, we decided to clean it, so we put the nintendo under the faucet, and started washing it. Needless to say it was soaked after this, and to dry it off, we put the Nintendo in the freezer. P.S. This doesn't work.
  11. Jim Wilks is commonly referred to as "Jim Wilks-Booth" along with the phrase "Assassinated the QB" Kevin "Miss Mary" Mack "Mack Mack, All dressed in black black black, with silver buttons buttons buttons, all down his back back back" Does anybody else remember this rhyme from their childhood? I believe there was some hand slapping that went along with it. I can't believe nobody has mentioned "Blowjob" Tolliver. Also, what about the array of Thurman Thomas nicknames? It's always been a debate between me and others as to which one was the best. I like "The Thurmanator" and they all like "Thermal" Thomas. Mark "Super" Duper is another "actual" nickname, but one that doesn't deserve to be left out if Stephen Baker gets his on here. Vinny Greenballs is another favorite for Vinny Testaverde. For the FunkDiggyDoc's of the world, that's Testa(cle)Verde(spanish for "green") and, finally, Henry (Sm)ellard Some more current ones include: "J-Lo" James Lofton and "Will" Ferrell Edmunds I know there's a Mark Vlasic joke somewhere to be found, too. Boy am I glad I didn't add my Jeff Jaegermeister one. What's wrong with that? I thought it was pretty funny.
  12. My friend used to be un freaking believable with bo jackson and howie long as a 2-man team on the NES. On offense, he would snap it, run back to his own goal line, then juke everybody, then run it to the 1 yard line, run out of bounds, and on the next play punt it out of the endzone just for fun, and still beat us with extreme ease. On defense he would lurch with Howie from the bottom DE spot. Too bad he sucks now.
  13. bitch? what word is it? thats the only 5 lettered one I can think of...
  14. Got to go with an emulator...
