  1. The NFL will actually start playoff overtimes just like the first quarter of play. There will be another halftime if they get through 2 OT's scoreless, but that's never happened. In the regular season, they start over with fourth quarter timing rules, including the two minute warning. I know in the regular season teams are given 2 timeouts for the OT, but I don't remember what it is for the playoffs.
  2. Oh my good lord, spectacular! It's my vision come to life! Just let me know if you need any help when it comes to rosters, players, sim data, or the like.
  3. A bit off-topic at this point, but I played 2 weeks of the "be Ivy Joe Hunter" idea because I was bored today, and I did pretty well. Blasted the Pats, had Ivy Joe go for 100 rushing and receiving, then lost to the Dolphins 38-31, but had Ivy Joe go for 66 on 6 carries (no playbook changes either) and 10 catches for 150+. It's fun, but since I'm going back to school tomorrow, I'll have to start over, as I use different emulators here and at school, and since I did it on a lark, no screenies. I'll do it if I feel like doing it all at school.
  4. I've actually done that to myself before on roms....
  5. If you missed it before, I said that because they're a bunch of chokers, not because of a lack of talent (they should finish 12-4 every year with that offense).
  6. Yeah, this is the only 2003 one I'm picking up, I'm not even going to bother trying one on my own. Good job, SBlueman!
  7. Yes, Professor Black, we're all waiting for your imperical conclusion on this matter.
  8. Heck, those aren't even good enough, because who's to say they didn't cheat and put both teams on MAN?
  9. No one is afraid to play you, we're just not willing to shell out the bucks to fly to LA and make a fool out of you. The reason no one takes you seriously is that most of your claims are setting off their bullshit readers (oh look, there went mine right after I read your first post).
  10. Good luck with that. We have a chunk of people around the Midwest, a chunk in Texas, and other than that, we're not extremely well spread out.
  11. It was more of a commentary on the Vikings than about what you've done, but you did a nice job explaining your process anyway. Can't wait for it!
  12. A Viking Super Bowl win? You need to do some fine-tuning Seriously, great job, can't wait for it, one of the few roms that I didn't make that I play on a regular basis is one of yours, so this one should be even better.
  13. I live in Eau Claire, at the University, and I can host, we have plenty of TSB players here. If you want to play NES version, bring it, because SNES is what we had available the last time we had a tournament. We can do it anytime after the 21st, but I'd like to wait until early February, if possible.
  14. I don't think the Chargers were made too good, as they did finish 11-5 after a 0-4 start. They might just benefit from scheduling and a little luck, because a few of those early losses could have been wins if the team was playing its best. Also, I think it took some past history into account, especially with the Packers. They struggle to match their 9-7 mark of 1992 most times, and of course, they rebounded from 3-6 to get there, so it could have been seen as a couple of lucky breaks.
  15. Nothing available at my source site. Chances are the stats either weren't kept or didn't matter enough to be posted.
  16. Bob Nelson's USFL sack totals, for your viewing pleasure. 1984 Oklahoma Outlaws, 6.5 1985 Jacksonville Bulls, 5.5
  17. Sorry, but the mystery continues. Our Bob Nelson was playing for the Arizona Outlaws of the USFL in 1985 as a nose tackle, and also played for the Bucs in 86 and the Packers from 88-90. The other one won rings with the Raiders. http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Fiel ... ayers2.htm
  18. Because they want to sell games, not make people choke.
  19. You might, just for the sake of sanity of those aligned with said eliminated teams, release another one with the teams replaced in the first one replacing the next lowest 2 in their conference. I've seen it done before, and it makes sense, and of course, if Ultra ever gets off the ground, it would be an added benefit of having all 32 of the teams under the SBlueman formula.
  20. Original means what teams they were on when the game came out.
  21. Take a look at when these were posted. Sure, they've done well the last month, but before that, there was no reason to believe they'd have as good a record as the Green Bay Packers this year.
  22. It's just telling you what it COULD average on your arrogant ass if it wanted to.
  23. If you had half a brain cell, that would be an improvement.
  24. I don't think you would have had a complaint from anyone on that one.
  25. How can a game be accurate if they don't have all of the best teams in the NFL on there? Enough of the crying about all the people who eliminate the Bengals from their work. Maybe when they start winning, people will be more inclined to include them.
