  1. Hey, I've been working on this rom for a year now and some of my players are now missing parts or are different colors. I redesigned the players and assigned a color to each part of them. Helmet, jersey, facemask, pants, pant stripe, gloves, socks and shoes. Not sure what happened. I'm really bummed about this. First pic UNC and Clem all good. Second pic U.F. and Clem fucked. 16 players in all are messed up. Tried redoing them and nothing worked. If anybody can help that would be awesome. Thanks!!
  2. Never mind I found it. There's another set of abbreviations at the bottom of the rom that changes them there. Stupid that you have to change them there and not with the team name like the AFC.
  3. Does anybody know why the NFC team abbreviations aren’t changing? They all change for the AFC teams, for some reason not the NFC.

  5. You're welcome! As for more passes you’ll have to change the offensive preferences. There is 3 locations and you need to change all 3 locations or it won’t work. The locations are 000160904, 001def509 and 001def803. The teams are in order as the sim values order. The colts are 00 which is a rush offense. You can change them to 02 which is pass offense or 03 which is heavy pass. Still not sure what that cc means. I’ve changed other teams byte and nothing seems to happen.
  6. So for Denver the first bytes added up to 256. 10 (16), 76 (118), 4c (76), 22 (34), 0a (10), 01 (1) and 01 (1). I just went by that number (256) when changing sim values. I changed Elway to 08 (8), Davis to d7 (215) and the other 3 running backs 16 (22), 06 (6) and 05 (5). Davis now gets around 360 carries a season, where before the changes backs 1 and 2 split carries almost 50/50. I just went by whatever the number was for each team and don’t go over that number or the sim data won’t add up correctly, eg one player will get no carries. I did the same for receiving sim values as well. Receiving sim value is the 3rd byte. Just add all 3rd byte get the number and adjust for each player, again don’t go over that number.   9. For some reason I can't download the file. I get a message saying tsbm2k-w-71.zip is not commonly downloaded and may be dangerous. I can't override this. Do you know why i'm getting this result?

  13. I was reading some pages about a NCAA snes game Drunken Honkey created based off TSBIII. Was that game ever finished? I saw some info about it in the TSBIII Bible.
  14. Yeah the screen music is pretty lame and the lack of it when playing sucks also. It did have good music in the past!
  15. I love TSB III for SNES, I think they got everything right with that version. Nothing against the other versions, I love TSB I for Genesis but that discussion is for another day. Realistically how hard would it be to add the Texas and Titans as some ROMs already have the Browns and Ravens. It doesn’t even have to be the right divisions, say the Texans can be in the NFC central and the Titans can be in the AFC central. My dream is to see all 32 teams in TSB III regardless of the way divisions are actually. Is it even possible or would I be wasting my time trying? Any input would be awesome. Thanks!
  16. Hxd editor. I actually figured it out. I started in November without have any knowledge of hex, or computer programming, what so ever and just started reading post trying to learn as much as I can before diving into all this. I’m a fast learner and have learned a lot thanks to you guys. I was trying to get NE and Den RBs more carries to match Martin and Davis stats, which I did.

  18. Does anybody know the hex locations for offensive formations? I’m looking to make every team a 1RB 3WR formation please and thank you!
  19. @Fernando 49 Ok so I changed Miami to 01 and the Giants to 03 to see if I can get a QB less and more pass attempts respectively and it didn’t work. Simed 6 seasons and Marino still gets over 500 att, Brown 325 range. I traded the two and the same result. As for getting a RB more carries I just changed the bytes so RB1 gets most of carries the other RBs way less carries. I feel stupid for not doing that to start with but I’m a newbie. Do you know any other way to get a QB more atts?
  20. I’m trying real hard to get this to work but no matter how I change the running backs digits then sim it’s always the same. I’ve even switched all of Dallas’s RBs bytes to New England’s RBs and vice versa, nothing changes when simming. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. It’s very frustrating.
  21. I’ve been trying to figure this out. I traded Emmitt Smith to New England using TSB 3 manager. I’m assuming Smith’s hex number is 15 as well. I simed a season and his numbers were crap. 140 carries, 340 yards, 2.4 average, 4 tds. If what you said was true he should have gotten way better numbers then what he did. This might work for a WR but it definitely doesn’t work with a RB. Do you know why this is?
  22. Hi everybody I’m new to this site. I have a question. When siming a season it seems only certain teams are one back run heavy. I.E. Dallas. Every season Smith get 300 + carries where as other backs on teams like New England it seems 2 backs split carries around 100-150 carries each. I used the tsb 3 manager and changed their star back to Curtis Martin. I simed a season and Martin only got 140 carries for 600 yards. Martin had 368 carries in the 95 season. I even tried trading him to Dallas for Smith to see if it’s the player or team. Martin had 320 carries for Dallas, Smith had 160 for NE. I even switched names on each other then traded them and it was the same so it’s the team definitely not the player. Is there any way to make a computer controlled team one back run heavy or is it just the way the game was programmed when devolved? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
