I recently played in my first competitive Tecmo Tourney in West Des Moines, IA. My friends and I used to have 28-team tournaments while we were in high school but we had rules against adjusting play books and you had to keep the same team throughout the entire tournament.
Needless to say I got humbled a little bit. The competition was really good and it was great to see so many guys still passionate about this game. I did happen to salvage two victories during the tournament and I think I’ll be better my next time around.
