  1. On the off chance that the mighty author stops by here, I'd like to know this too. If I could get these three hacks plus J Stout's no coverage hack, I'd make a whole series of yearly roms for this game. At the moment, though, it's not worth the effort given the state of the computer opposition. Cheers!
  2. Did anyone ever get this to work for TSB I on the SNES? I've been playing SBlueman's great Redux ROM and I can't really go back to playing other roms without this hack.
  3. Thanks for all the above information and for the explanation regarding quickness. I'm more of an archivist too, but the Juice settings look easy enough to tweak. I've gotten further into a season with the Vikings and, as I mentioned before, the gameplay is a blast: it's about as close to playing another person as one could get. I lost my first two games, won my next three, and now am on another two game losing streak. What I like is that the good teams can beat me with no obvious juice features. The run game is still simming high per carry averages, but I've toned it down in man vs com games. I gave linebackers across the board more run power, which means that they're getting to the ball carrier faster: no more torching the Giants with the likes of Heath Sherman. One thing that seems to be a major problem: running back injuries. Without exaggeration, half the league's starting corps of running backs is injured at the moment. It got to a comical degree when, before one game, three running backs emerged from the hospital before the game could start! I wish that I could transfer all your good work to Tecmo III for the defensive formations and increased playbook Cheers
  4. What a great ROM: thank you for sharing! The hacks that you've put in make a major difference to gameplay, and this means that though I prefer Tecmo Bowl III, I'll be playing this ROM exclusively in the future. In particular, the open receiver hack makes this game so much more challenging and fun! You've done a great job with the rosters, also. I agree with you that 90 was a better year than 91. I love seeing Joe Montana still at the top of his game, and Herschel Walker with the Vikings. The game feels very smooth, and the player animations are clearly affected by their stats. So far, my only quibble is that the running game is a little too strong. As the Juice kicks in, perhaps this will change for me, but even the sim stats are a bit high for running: lots of 10 yards per carry players. I had Heath Sherman dominating the Giant's vaunted D! Also, I've got one question: did you add any of the hacks that make quickness do something for defensive players? Cheers
  5. Hello Fernando, I'm not sure whether you're still active or not, but I want to tell you "thank you" for this version. It's an improvement over the original game, which is my favorite in the Tecmo series. I wonder if you considered doing a "juiced" version like you did for your later releases? If not, perhaps someone could point out for me how to do this. Cheers
  6. Hello, I haven't been able to get any replies to my post so far, but I'm going to keep trying. I've finished a revamped 1995 TSB III with accurate rosters and what I believe are more accurate stats. In COM sims so far, it's been doing very well. I am starting work on a 1990 version, then a 1985, and finally a 2000 version. But, since these are for human players, I'd like to make them harder. Could someone tell me how to or if it's no trouble apply for me the following hacks to my rom in order of priority: Super Bowl Level Juice Better AI pass coverage AI finds open receiver Longer kickoffs with improved coverage Directional punts I'd love to put these up in the downloads section once I'm done, so any community help would be appreciated. Cheers, Brad
  7. Has anyone figured out if this is possible?
  8. Hello Deberg, And thanks for replying. I like the tipped interceptions in TB II, but the grappling system is awful, and I like the inclusion of agility in III. I guess I just want to find a juiced up version of the game that I can edit. Cheers
  9. Hello everyone, I've already posted a similar topic in the hacking forum, but I thought that I would check in here too, since this is the game I'm looking for work on. Anyways, Fernando has created a great juiced version for his 2017 mod (96 yard td from the cpu by Iron Head Heyward, 35 unanswered points against me after I jumped to a 21-0 lead!).... But the quarterbacks don't seem to have the open man hack installed, which means that they really struggle to generate offense, making defense for a human player way too easy. I"m looking for someone who can keep the juice from his mod, but give it to the cpu only, not the human player, as well as add a few documented hacks from the hacking forum. Cheers!
  10. I just played your NCAA game for the firs time and am impressed by the amount of work you guys put in. I have no coding skills, but if you need testing or just data entry, I'd be happy to help with this very ambitious project. Cheers!
  11. Hi everyone, After playing this as a youngster some 20 years ago, my brother bought me a Classic SNES, and I've loved reliving the old grid iron days. I've been looking over the forums, and while I'm happy to put in the work editing names and stats on Tecmo Bowl Manger 3, I have realized that it will take months for me to learn how to implement all the hex changes that I want, not to mention testing them. So, what I'm wanting to know is if I put down a list of known hacks and supply someone with a ROM that I've edited, can they implement those hacks? I'd be happy to pay someone for their time by the hour or by the project. Alternatively, if someone would like me to donate to the charity of their choice, I'd be happy to do that too. To clarify, this would be for Tecmo Super Bowl 3. Cheers
  12. I don't suppose amrush ever posted any files that we could get to implement this stuff?
  13. Hey Fernando, What are the juiced changes that you've made here? Cheers!
  14. Could you point me to where you found this information for Tecmo Super Bowl III? Cheers
  15. I was curious about this myself...
  16. What a great post. I've modded several other games, and know how much work goes into firstly getting this information, but secondly presenting it. Thank you for sharing!
