  1. Does anyone know if someone is currently updating TSBII? I am trying to learn what it would take. I updated the players names with a hex editor but I am far from familiar with how to change player attributes. I have worked on the TSB Manager 2000 but that shifts all the team names around in TSB II when exporting team data. My next move is to engulf myself in all the site has to offer on TSB III edits and try to work backwards. I have also start to try to start fresh will TSBM2k to make every team but I had a lot of issues after exporting to the rom last time. Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  2. When trying to updated TSB II SNES I noticed 88 WR Patriots and had no clue who that was. I cross checked Pro Football Reference and the team did not have a fourth WR in 92' and also no number 88. (80 Fryar, 83 Timpson, and 86 McMurtry) But the game has a WR4 spot. When doing my editing I added no. 81 Walter Stanley in that 4 spot who is listed as a KR. I then noticed that if you don't edit the playbook the WR Patriots will not be in the game. So if I am not mistaken that means that the only time you can play as WR Patriots is when you choose the 92' Pats and choose to change the playbook to a playbook with a 4WR set. That seems like a crazy addition to a game to make a player up for a situation so unlikely to happen.
  3. I am new at all of this but I am too interested in editing Tecmo Super Bowl II for SNES. I have tried to use the TSB 2000 Manager to edit the rosters but when I upload it back to the rom it gets all weird. For example when opening up the team data in game it has the Redskins listed as "Free Agent" in the team name and some text gets altered. I have been trying to use HxD hex editor as well to take on this project but still have only been able to minimal editing. I wanted to change all unnamed players to their actual names like HB Bills to Thurman Thomas... But I can only change hit to T Thomas in a hex editor because of the character limitations. Does anyone know the best way for me to be able to read the language of the game for editing and has anyone taken on TSB II SNES task before?
